I wouldn't even dream of allowing my church to run a roster to determine who will be first to clean my house. Anyone who thinks that is OK doesn't know SQUAT about GOOD LEADERSHIP or GOOD DECENCY. Believe it or not that in itself is about the worst psychological manipulation that I have seen. To convince your whole church that they will be blessed if they come and clean your house? Well NTCC church member; your wife can clean the MASTERS house if she wants to, but my wife will clean OUR house, not Master Kekels. His wife can clean his house, and I don't want his wife cleaning mine either because she needs to be the keeper of her own home. What a joke!!!
Man what do I need to do to have about 100 women who are other men's wives get on a list to come clean my house? WOW!!!! Next thing you know Kekel's going to have about 50 concubines. He actually has that already but they are just other men's wives who come to clean his house. "Just make sure you get on your HANDS AND KNEES SISTER when you scrub my HARD WOOD FLOORS." "Just BEND OVER to get the places that need it the most!" Yeah!!! JEFF what is wrong with you? Nothing but maybe what I wrote will get your attention because you are letting your wife get the proverbial pimp treatment. Man you've got to be kidding me because more than half of these women are married. They ain't got no business going to clean another mans house and especially a man who is supposed to be their pastor. You husbands should not allow that to happen. You are being pimped.
That was actually part of the previous thread but I realized that it had become way too long.
Jeff
Based on Rev. Kekel's past history with girls, the Sisters than clean his Mansion are safe...as they are all over 13 (we hope).

Well put. And it's obvious that Kekel doesn't see any problem with having a whole bunch men who are willing to send their wives over to clean his hard wood floor. I don't care if the wives want to do it!! It's misuse and the husbands shouldn't allow it. You don't do that to your church members or anyone else who is your subordinate for that matter.
Jeff
When I got to graham for bible school I remember that the ladies were ever so proud being "invited" to go and clean kekel's and davis house.
ReplyDeleteIt was like being invited to the white house and I couldn't understand this behaviour on the invitees part.
I guess it is a way of controlling the people and getting them into their little "clique"
Because let me tell you they know who they invite and who not, so they make it into a if you're not "that" dedicated to God then you will never ever put a foot in their houses.
In their little ways they pass the word out and everybody knows that you are rebellious and headstrong and therefore you will be shunned until you get out of their faces and their church.
Being there, done that.
Oh another testimony directly from a Grahamite. What could this individual possibly know? Seems like a whole lot more than some of the brainwashed NTCC folks that I have talked to.
ReplyDeleteJeff
Bro Jeff,
ReplyDeleteIt is good to be a Christian, and I am glad it is not a sin to have a good time.
Unfortunately, Kekel is the one getting his kicks and having a good time only.
Wonder where he dreamt that up???
Maybe it has got something to do with Phillipina custom or tradition??
I mean, if the woman is going to clean, she at least needs to get paid for her services!!!
MLJ
The Kekels are merely being good stewards. Why pay for maid service, when you can have your house cleaned for free. They probably use the money they save for world missions or to help Pastors get to mandatory conferences!
ReplyDelete...don't you X-Ntccers get it?
I was one that did go to Tanya's home and help clean her home. And weed in her flower garden. For me,I thought it was nice to help them. I was not one doing it for brownie points. But many of the ladies there were trying to cozy up to Tanya. It did become something everyone was doing. So you thought, you had better do it as well. Not to be left out. I even shopped for Tanya and Verna a few time's.
ReplyDeleteBut as I watched these ladies doing it just to suck up to them. And get in good. Made my stomach sick. So i went from cleaning inside,to just helping with her flowers. Living in an apartment,it was nice to get outside and work in a flowerbed. Slowly,I just stopped asking. Also stopped asking for permission to have others over,or do anything. Was to much of a bother. And who wanted to stand in line to be stared at. As if I was bothering him to ask for permission !!!

Jeff,
ReplyDeleteNot many if any single ladies clean Tanya's home. Most of those ladies have a day job. And at night are in class. And weekends typing note's. No free time wasting it cleaning someone's home. Crazy the stuff we did while in ntcc.
Why doesn't she just hire a maid. If MK can afford to have sent Grant to a school that cost 20,000 a year. He can afford to hire a maid. They wear even skimpier cloths, tight jeans. You could have gotten a better show. Then large ladies,in moo-moo shaped dresses.
Anonymous said...

Jeff said...
I agree completely other than my question of why doesn't Tanya just clean her own house?
Just so everyone knows I am just joking about Kekel wanting to see all those sister's butts. The point I was trying to capitalize on was that men are letting their wives go to clean another mans house and it reminds me of when a woman is being pimped and of that I am being serious. I wouldn't have my wife go anywhere near Kekels house to clean it. It is manipulative misuse and mistreatment of church folks. Bottom line.
Jeff
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteI agree...what kinda man are you to let YOUR WIFE clean another man's house?
Jeff said....
ReplyDeleteYou know; it can happen, because the NTCC is quite manipulative. I truly understand how it can happen. I'm trying to drive this point home as hard as I can, to wake the people up who are allowing it. That whole practice needs to stop. That in itself may be the most significant reason that I have absolutely no respect for RWD or Kekel or Tanya.
How could they treat their people like that? It's beyond me. They have no respect for even one person that comes to clean their house. They can't because that is not respect, that is manipulation. Just think about it.
Can you imagine being a guy and having your partners wife come over to clean your house? That's right, your partner. Isn't Kekel supposed to be partners in Christ with his fellow Brothers? Man they are supposed to be his friends?
Think about it PEOPLE!!! Think about it folks!!! "Hey friend, your wife is coming over to my house to clean it, and all my other friends wives are in line to do the same." "They are going to pick my weeds?" Kekel is scum to allow such a practice. PEROID; and I have no problem saying it.
And then Tanya is standing by while her supposed female friends are doing the weed picking and scrubbing. You call that friends? Who would do that to their brother or sister, biological or spiritual??????????
Anyone who is willing not only to follow Kekel or respect him is blind as a bat. That is the truth.
Hey homeboy!!! Why don't you send your wife over to clean my house and pick my weeds.
Man I wish these NTCC folks would wake up. Man forget about being saved; Kekel needs to get some common decency and respect for his fellow man. We ain't even talking about Christianity. Forget about spirituality; how about some good old fashioned decency.
I'm not even willing to debate this issue with anyone!!! It's not up for debate!!! The Kekel's are sorry, period.
Jeff
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteWhy would you ask anyone to clean your house without paying a wage?
I know about the shoe shining thing because I've been there and done that. I can't even remember how I was approached about shining shoes. I believe it is some kind of tradition that was started years ago. It makes me sick. I can't even fathom asking some young service man to shine my shoes. You should be spit shining their shoes. I think these folks are lazy. Christianity is not about manipulating someone to do your cleaning, yard work, and shoe shining. It’s one thing if someone is being a friend and volunteers to help you and another to coerce someone. If you are a real friend helping each other is a two way street. Does anyone recall an ntcc minister asking if they could shine your shoes or chop your wood? I could be wrong.
What do you have to say about this one, STEL??
ReplyDeleteOther men's wives cleaning Kekels house??? Would you let your wife go over and clean Kekel's house with Kekel there?
"Scrub over there in the cornor, sister, a little harder!!"
MLJ

ReplyDeleteL Travis said...
ReplyDelete"Why would you ask anyone to clean your house without paying a wage?"
Jeff said...
I wouldn't have one of my subordinates come to clean my house even if they wanted me to pay them a wage. I can just see it:
"Hey Serge; my wife and I really like you, and we want to show our appreciation by my wife coming over to clean your house. How does that sound Serge?"
Answer: "Soldier; your wife ain't coming to my house to clean anything." "I'm your superior; Soldier." "I wouldn't even pay her to clean my house because it just wouldn't be good judgment to task your soldiers WIFE to do something like that!" "I would be misusing my position as your leader if I allowed that to happen; Soldier." "I appreciate the offer but I've got to pass on that one." "I don't accept GIFTS from my soldiers and that would be considered a GIFT." "It would put me in a bad position if I allowed that to happen Soldier, because it is kind of like taking a bribe." "I know that is not your intent Soldier, but it just wouldn't be ethical for me to allow that."
REAL Leaders don't have their subordinates or subordinate family members coming over to clean their house or pick weeds or any of that stuff. I never shined my commanders boots. It was never even suggested. It's just flat out wrong to allow it. It is mistreatment and misuse of your people. It is a classic example of wrongfully taking advantage of your position as a leader and misusing your position as a leader. It is utterly poor leadership.
Jeff
i totally agree with what you guys are saying.
ReplyDeletebut the fault isnt all kekels
think of the mindset you must have in order to allow these things to take place i your life
lets assume that most of these young people are legitamately saved:
They have recieved the indwelling holy spirit, they have recieved the ability to understand the scriptures and they have been give, freely, fellowship with the creator God
that being said, there has to be a time when they realize this is wrong and they are making a conscious decision to use "the works of the flesh" to help them attain to a higher place in this "kingdom"
yep, they MUST consciously choose to become a man pleaser in order to fulfill the role that they desire in life, "preacher" "minister" "leader"
whatever it is
they also must CONSCIOUSLY renounce the works of evil (man pleasing is evil according to the bible) and turn from it. just as i have and the rest of you have
does this make sense?
t
Sure it makes sense. I understand how a church member can fall into that trap. The problem in the NTCCs case is that this misuse of people has occured 100s if not 1000s, if not 10,000s of times. All these people in the NTCC are supposed to be Christians and no one is speaking out about it.
ReplyDeletet you are saying they are saved? As much as I respect you and your opinion, I'm not so sure about the saved part. What is taking place with all that house cleaning is the works of the flesh, because it is man pleasing all the way. How can so many people have judgment that is so poor, and how come they don't have enough character to speak against these practices? Because they are man pleasers and most people who are man pleasers are not God pleasers. Mordecai was not a man pleaser and he saved his people because of it. He had character and God honored that, and Esther showed strong character also.
God knows if they are saved not me or anyone else. I don't determine who goes to heaven, God does. I don't determine who goes to hell, God does. I also don't determine who is saved and who is not because NO ONE other than God knows what goes on behind closed doors. I know what is done in the open though and what Kekel is doing with the double standards and the misuse of people is WRONG.
I understand that not everyone will speak up and maybe not even the majority, but how about a few? I know why because it is psychological manipulation at it's best. That is a fact. Christ said; not everyone that says unto him Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven.
NO ONE can say for sure who is saved in the NTCC and who is not. Only God. All I do know is that the NTCC practices a whole bunch of hocus pocus that is NOT Godly.
Jeff
Speaking for myself, I will say that I never spoke up out of fear. Fear of being jacked up; fear of being humiliated in front of others; fear of being kicked out and labeled as someone who was crossed up with God.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, FEAR, not man-pleasing is the primary force working in ntcc. And alot of "man-pleasing" is really motivated by fear. Fear is the number one tool used by ntcc. And just to clarify-- alot of fear is subtle (like not wanting to get in trouble with the leaders, rather than actually being scared of them). Does that make sense?
Casey it makes a whole lot of sense. In fact I totally concur. In the case of all the house cleaning though, it is definitely man pleasing far more so than fear.
ReplyDeleteJeff
sorry men. Your not women,of course. So you don't know what modivate's us to get on Tanya's list. To clean her home. Not all of us are men or women pleaser. I am 100% sure I do not kiss up to anyone. Something I detested while in ntcc. Watching men and women kiss up to these people!
ReplyDeleteAs for me. Other ladies were doing it. I wanted to help out. And what I thought was being a blessing.
CM
Don't you guys know that ms. kekel is a teacher and the only ordained minister to boot?
ReplyDeleteShe is out there trying to study for she is the only female teacher in the bible school. She has to keep up with her music ministry being the only soloist in their church. She is the wife of the senior pastor because kinson is only the go between for the members of that big church.
Can't you see that she has to go out everyday to soul-win, visit the people that came to the sunday service and visit the members that are in the hospital, then she has to attend the school of her son and his extra curricular activities like football, basketball, karate, piano lessons, piano recitals........ then she has to go shopping for the latest fashions like the "misook" knit two piece suits that cost like 300 or 500 dollars a piece, you know, she has to look presentable for the people that come to the church.
Wow guys! It is just too much for a girl to handle.
Nothing wrong with using some help from the lowly wife of that good ole preacher that is trying to advance to be admitted to the "in" crowd.
CM,
ReplyDeleteI agree. For about 20 years I dedicated myself to being Rev. Olson's servant. I washed his car and RV, cut his grass, whatever I could do. I did it to be a blessing to the man of God, and out of a pure heart. I'm not complaining about it really. I still have fond memories of being around the Olson's. But, sadly, near the end of my time in ntcc I felt that Rev. Olson really didn't care about me. Or if he did, his loyalty to Davis was stronger than his care about me. All my faithfulness was all for nothing.
Anon,
ReplyDeletethat was hilarious! I used to marvel at the FAKE bussiness that many women in ntcc think they are. Oh,I am so busy for the Lord. I just don't have any free time for myself. There is something wrong when a person is guilty if they take some free time for themselve's.
So glad I am free from that control.
CM
I remember being at the house and as soon as the door was opened you had to remove your shoes. I think tanya had extra booties to wear on your feet if you were a newbie and didn't bring socks.
ReplyDeleteI remember the big chandeliers that you had to clean and dust.
You had to be ever so careful to not break a single crystal tear drop and then clean those bulbs.

Were going to scrub and were going to clean, RWD is big and mean.
Mike Kekel's in the company of abusive jerks, if you clean up his house you'll get all the perks.
Jeff Collins runs a blog and they say he's a liar, STEL thinks Jeff's going to burn in the fire.
Sound off, Sound off, scrub it on down, one, two, three, four, one two three four.
Jeff
Oh yes,I remember that chandlier. All the while Grant is upstairs pounding on the floor. Making it all shake. And never reprimaded.
ReplyDeleteAnd who could forget the old cookoo clock with the many piece's. I freaked out once. A piece fell off. Found out the clock doesn't even work.
Then the table cloth you had scrub out spots with bleach spray by hand. I remember doing her laundry. It was a so called honor to one of the ladies that ironed there cloths.
And then weeding out her flower beds.
Dusted MK book shelf with books that made some sister's blush and tell us not to look at the books title's when we dusted. Supposed to have given MK his privacy. While he had about ten to fifteen ladies in his house. Doing his wife work. If she did not have the time to take care of a house that size. Then they should not have had it built. Instead stay in the smaller house. All for Pride!

funny thing.if Tanya was really my friend. I would be over there to help her out. Not on a daily basis. Tanya has women in her home every week. Or at least she did.
ReplyDeleteFriends do help each other. But not to gain brownie points,or to be a better friend. Just part of the friendship. If a friend of mine was in need of help. I would be there in a heartbeat. But that is how I was raised.
CM
CM's story two posts up is sickening.
ReplyDeleteShe tells of what it was like to clean the Kekels house. Just like I keep saying; the Kekels are low down.
To have your friends do what CM wrote makes me sick. It's sickening.
Kekel: If you read this blog your are one low down dude. How could you use people like that? You and your wife are low. You get no respect.
Jeff
CM: A real friend would never allow their friends to come to their house strictly for the purpose of cleaning. Maybe some help for a cook out or a birthday party but not just for the purpose of cleaning and picking weeds.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen that in my ENTIRE LIFE. Never once. The Kekels are low down. Kekel thinks he is King Solomon. Kekel is supposed to be a man of God? Man get real. He uses his church members.
Jeff
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteIf I had a friend in a crisis. Needed help cleaning. I would be there. Right, for a special occassion. Or have no idea where to start to declutter. I would be there to help them out.
CM
I would help also. But to have brothers and sisters come to clean your house regularly is wrong. It's using people. I've helped a perfect stranger cut down a tree in his front hard that had been struck by lightning and was in danger of falling on his house.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm saying is it's wrong to use people and no one in the NTCC other than family or another leader could probably consider themselves true friends of Mike and Tanya anyway.
Listen to this. The NTCC is so big on the separation of leaders and subordinates it's not even funny. For about 7 years you weren't even allowed to go out to eat with ministers during fellowship meetings. They didn't want the leaders to mingle with the church members. I guess that doesn't matter to them as long as they can get their house cleaned.
The point is a friend wouldn't make a "practice" of having folks over to clean their house. You just wouldn't do it. Some friends came to my house to help me move out and into a new house that I had just purchased. I really needed the help. My next door neighbor who the NTCC would consider a sinner also helped me load up all my furniture. I even asked him not to help and he insisted. The pastor and his wife didn't come because they had too much stuff going on. Everyone pitched in to move the church but they were too busy to help me move my house. I'm confident that Mike and Tanya would have been too busy also. It's a one way street in the NTCC.
The leaders want everyone's help but you rarely see them lift a finger to help anyone else because they are always too busy.
"BE YE WARMED AND FILLED" It's a one way street in the NTCC. Everything is about the RWDs corporation and nothing is about the people in it. Not where tangible assistance is concerned.
The NTCC uses people for their personal gain, period. Having people clean your single family house is exactly that. Using folks for personal gain.
Jeff
Jeff said..."The leaders want everyone's help but you rarely see them lift a finger to help anyone else because they are always too busy."
ReplyDeleteYou are right! It all flows one way in NTCC...from the bottom to the top. Don't gossip about the leadership...but they can say anything they want about you.
NTCCers will receive a negative witness based on only one testimony. If Pastor Davis, and/or company make an accusation they will lap it up as a dog returning to its own vomit, and accept it as 'gospel,' and publish it abroad. But, if Pastor Davis is accused of adultery, etc. by the victim, no one can accept it because it is not accompanied by two or three witnesses to the exact same event.
Yet, we have many witnesses to the exact same specific instances of other types of ungodliness by the leadership of NTCC...yet NTCCers won't receive it?
For the falsely accused, what would happen is, Pastor Davis would want to face his accuser, and people would be able to judge who was telling the truth. At least this is what would happen if Pastor Davis had nothing to hide. This is what I would do...but I have nothing to hide (said pdq, who is hiding behind his anonymity).
What if the women (or man) could identify some unique characteristic (a marking, shape, size, etc.) of Pastor Davis private parts; that one could only know if they had 'been there'...then what? Do you receive the witness? Sister Davis could verify. Pastor Davis' first wife could verify.
The victims of Michael Jackson and President Clinton, were able to provide this type of information.
In His Service,
pdq
Jesus came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and give his live a ransom for many. He washed his disciples' feet, but they have it backward in NTCC, where the "ministers" have become lords over God's heritage, and have those that they are supposed to be serving scurrying around doing menial labor for them. It's an ingrained culture. I never did it myself, so when I was a teacher, it made me uncomfortable when brothers approached me to request the privilege of shining my shoes or washing my car. I let them do it, because that was the established order, but it did make me feel uneasy, like it was inappropriate. I guess that's because it was, but I wasn't to the place where I could see past the NTCC snow job yet. Ironically, the guy who washed my car ended up becoming one of the more abusive pastors in the org, and probably expects his congregation to work like that for him.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of song lyrics, here's a little number adapted by Mick Lloyd-Owen (apologies to Paul Simon):
ReplyDelete50 WAYS TO LEAVE R. DUBBER
The problem is all inside your head
He said to me
The answer is easy if you
Take it logically
I'd like to help you in your struggle
To be free
There must be fifty ways
To leave R. Dubber
He said it's really not my habit
To intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning
Won't be lost or misconstrued
But I'll repeat myself
At the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways
To leave R. Dubber...
Fifty ways to leave R. Dubber
CHORUS:
You just make it real quick, MICK
Listen to this, CHRIS
You don't need to be slick, VIC
Just get yo-self free
Do what you must, BoGGUS
YOU DON'T NEED TO DUSCUSS MUCH!!!
Just follow ol' Keys, SEE
And get yourself free
He said it grieves me deeply
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways...
He said why don't we both
Just pray it through tonight
And I believe in the morning
You'll begin to see the light
So I uncorked my stifled brain
And I realized he was right
There must be fifty ways
To leave R. Dubber...
Fifty ways to leave R. Dubber
You just pack up and go, JOE
Take a long hike, MIKE

ReplyDeleteits rather telling, i did some study on the root word for 'foolish' in 2 timothy 2:23
ReplyDeleteits root word means:
"a hidden thing, secret, mysterious
a)generally mysterious, religious secrets, confided only to the initiated and not to ordinary mortals"
hmmm....sounds like the false concept of "holiness"
and 'unlearned' means:
"without instruction, and discipline, uneducated, rude"
hmmm.....no wonder ntcc does not condone or advocate reading commentaries or listening to other Bible teachers, someone may become educated enough to see thru their "foolish" doctrines
it always amazed me how when dealing with my brother he would refer to an english dictionary and not a strongs concordance and such....might learn something...ohhh nnnnnooooo

CM said..."I remember doing her laundry. It was a so called honor to one of the ladies that ironed there cloths."
ReplyDeleteI didn’t know this. After having been ‘in’ close to 20 years, I didn’t know that Tanya does not even do her own laundry and ironing (I will still assume she does cook).
Why is the only new information that keeps 'popping' up making NTCC continue to look bad in the public’s eye? NTCC's own constituents don't come up with anything other than, “WE ARE WINNING!” "God really moved," "So and so was healed of her headache," "God made a way for me to go to conference," "We are in another revival, it is a blessing," "Pastor Davis is a blessing," “Rev. Kekel gave me $100,” “Rev. Ashmore sold me his old living room set,” “I get to shine Rev. Olson’s shoes,” “We love you, Sir!” etc.
NTCC has vehicles to get the word out, and add balance to its detractor’s voluminous testimony – the ‘official’ website, Minister’s and member’s blogs – yet these all remain threadbare. They are also free to come here and present the details that show NTCC is a blessing in every way imaginable, and can email many of us their positive testimonies. Rev. Kekel’s blog has very few comments posted. And the comments posted don’t bring up suggestions for a variety of topics in praise of NTCC (or any discussion of their doctrine or methods), just brief comments in complete support of what little Rev. and Rev. Kekel decide to post. You would think NTCC would be able to prove how great, on track, and growing they are. Would be able to show what a total blessing they are for all involved. Be able to sell their own product (though they don’t use it). Another proof God is on the move in NTCC, and is using NTCC is…after 40 years, their World Missions Program has yielded 3 churches in the Philippines and 1 in Panama. They even have a World Missions Director to manage all this growth.
They don't (or can't) tell us why they stay in NTCC (other than their typical rote ‘testimonies’).
The lack of depth to any report of goodness in NTCC is startling. It’s all surface, all fluff. The lack of depth to any testimony of goodness in NTCC is startling. Do you have any money? No, God is moving in my life. Do you have any appreciable time for your wife and kids? No, God is moving in my life. Do you ever get to go home to visit family? No, God is moving in my life. Did you just sell your furniture, and use up most, if not all, of your savings to move to another work? Yes, God is moving in my life. Did Pastor Davis or Rev. Kekel give you $100? Yes, God is REALLY moving in my life. Do you ever go for a medical check-up? No, God is moving in my life. Do you frequently have to deny yourself and your family? Yes, God is moving in my life. Do you ever have any hope of living a life even 10 percent like Pastor Davis and Rev. Kekel, while involved in NTCC. No, God is moving in my life. Will you ever be able to buy your wife a new car? No, God is moving in my life. Will you ever be able to take your family on a nice vacation? No, God is moving in my life. Are you ever able to go to the dentist? No, God is moving in my life. Have you ever missed being home for a holiday, or a wedding, funeral, graduation, family reunion, christening, etc? Yes, but God is moving in my life. Does your family eat a lot of macaroni and cheese and white bread? Yes. God is moving in my life. Did your wife need to learn how to cut your hair? Yes, God is moving in my life. Does your family regularly visit you? No, God is moving in my life. Do you have any retirement plan? No, God is moving in my life…

The number of people that visit this blog (hit counter) compared to the number who post is also telling. For those that are 'in' and come here to read, all they see is a witness that agrees with their own experiences and observations of NTCC...So they don’t post the refutation they wish they could, or came here to post. Those that do post, are not able to defend their support of NTCC, if challenged.
ReplyDeleteNTCCers always give the same nebulous testimony that has long been de rigueur. To be otherwise while in NTCC, is to be marked and shunned; until you get ‘right with God.’ If you are not a cheerleader for NTCC, you are the enemy.
In NTCC, you can't think too hard, and if you do, you cannot voice any conclusions. If you do – even though NTCC is so great, and is meeting all your spiritual needs; and has such a Godly atmosphere; and you are growing so much; and God moves so much in your life; and the testimony of the leadership is unimpeachable; and the preaching is so great; and you pray in tongues and raise your hands multiple times each service; pay your tithe and give in the offering – you will be treated in a completely un-Christ-like manner, and die the slow death of a thousand subtle (and not so subtle) slights, until you flee or once again conform...all under the direction and approval of the Holy Ghost.
In His Service,
pdq
Angie,
ReplyDeleteWhats your paper on, we have the same major!
NS
Ha, ha. LOL!!!
ReplyDeletepdq: That was the best laugh I've had in a while.
"God made a way for me to go to conference,"
That is too funny.
Jeff
pdq: Your post was exceptional. I specifically like the part about "God is moving in my life."
ReplyDeleteThe fact is pdq; what you wrote is so true. Whats startling is that NTCC no longer requires their ministers to attend conference. Did you know that? I know of Pastors who are not going to conferences and have missed two, three or even four, yes FOUR in a row. The truth is, it is actually good that the standards are beginning to lighten up.
The problem is that it's a SLAP IN THE FACE to anyone who had to endure decades of arduous rules. The previous rules that seem to no longer exist, literally crippled any financial progress that so many NTCC pastors could have even hoped to make.
The NTCC has messed up the lives of so many people who had such genuine and good intentions all along.
Jeff.
to CM,
ReplyDeleteI was reading your post about your experiences cleaning the kekels' house and the issue of the books piqued my interest.
So, you are told to dust a bookshelf, yet not read the books? or did she mean to not read the title of the books? (that request would probably have the opposite effect just by virture of calling attention to the books in the first place) Besides, if they didn't want someone to know what they read, then they should keep it in the bedroom or a more private place.
and what sort of books were in a bible college presidents' bookshelf that would make some sisters blush? curious, because it is so telling. for me at least.
pdq wrote:

Jeff replied...
Whats interesting pdq is that you also found that alarming. So did I!!! Quite significantly so. I was totally alarmed when I read that also. What creates an alarm to some, doesn't seem to create an alarm with others? NTCC people should be going through the roof over this information. You join someones church only to find yourself washing their dirty laundry; LITERALLY?
It is totally absurd to me that they have their church members do their dirty laundry. That takes the cake with me. I have VIRTUALLY NO RESPECT FOR THE KEKEL's. NONE!!! That may be the greatest misuse of leadership that I have ever heard of.
pdq; am I missing something? Should I not become as alarmed when I read such information that has been brought forth?
I respectfully request your response pdq. I am genuinely troubled as a result of this information. Is there something wrong with me? Should this information just not bother me?
I'm not so certain that it is good for me to continually find out even more scathing information about the NTCC? I get troubled because of it. I have no intention of shutting down this blog however I can totally understand why Tracy would close down her blog.
Who wants to run around troubled? It's actually not fun at all. I sincerely want to help people to steer clear of the NTCC and these blogs often do exactly that, but at what cost to my own peace of mind? When I read information such as the stuff that CM wrote concerning the cleaning of Kekels house; it has the same effect on me, or it is the equivalent of receiving news of a sickness in the family. No exaggeration; it really did trouble me.
Give me some advise pdq.
Jeff
"and what sort of books were in a bible college presidents' bookshelf that would make some sisters blush? curious, because it is so telling. for me at least."
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was an issue of "Good House-Keeping"
Jeff said..."pdq; am I missing something? Should I not become as alarmed when I read such information that has been brought forth?"
ReplyDeleteJeff, you can be as alarmed (or accepting) as you want, as you are no longer involved with the Church that wants to manage all your thoughts and actions. This being said, the ones that should be alarmed are the ones still attending NTCC.
For those just tuning in...we are not reporting on someone occasionally doing something for a friend to help them out, or helping someone out when you happen to drop by and they are busy but you still what to spend time with them, so you pitch in. This is recurring, scheduled, encouraged, sanctioned, solicited, unpaid personal servitude, only for the leadership (Ministers and above) of NTCC…which is NEVER reciprocated.
Jeff also said… “Give me some advise pdq.”
OK, here it is (direct from the throne room of God, via NTCC): Keep on the firing line; we are winning; the devil’s mad and I’m glad; don’t let a bird make a nest in your hair; the prize is at the end; you take care of the man of God and God will take care of you; you have to give to get; your next; we are winning; it seems good to God; pray about it; your head has to be harder than your Church members; don’t listen to the lies of the devil; we are winning; your God’s elite; your God’s special forces; don’t change your phone service from AT&T; let’s get out there and win some souls; God will bless you real good; let me run this by Pastor, call me back at this same time on Tuesday; we are winning; lift your hands and worship the Lord; open your song books to hymn number…; trust God; praise the Lord; let God bless you real good; we are winning; be ye warmed and filled (oops, they don’t say this, sorry…NTCC just practices this as another of their ‘policies’); can I get a witness; say amen somebody, somebody say amen; God is love; don’t spend over $50 without prior permission; God don’t make no junk; we are winning; to have friends you must be friendly; just ask me and I’ll tell ya; we are winning…etc.
Here are some books, pamphlets, information, practices, etc. NTCC has ‘suggested’ throughout the last 40 years:
• “Dake Bible”
• “Hymns of Glorious Praise”
• “Children’s Ministries (Handy reference guide)”
• “Dress for Success”
• “Get Anyone To Do Anything”
• “How to start a conversation and make friends”
• “The Richest Man in Babylon”
• “How to Work a Room”
• “Soul Winner’s Guidebook”
• “10 things I learned from Bill Porter”
• “The Chaos of Cults”
• “The Christian, War, and Capitol Punishment”
• “The Go Getter”
• “The Church in History”
• “Knowing the Doctrines of the Bible”
• “Who Moved My Cheese?”
• “Why We Worship The Way We Do”
• “The Joy of Sex”
• “21st Century Pilgrims Progress”
• NTCC’s Doctrinal Statement.
• Print Shop Posters.
• Bible Institute/College/Seminary Notes.
• Almost 14 Years of Trumpet’s.
• Conferences.
• Fellowship Meetings.
• Rev. Kekel’s blog.
• New Testament Christian Churches of America, Incorporated (Official Web Site)
• Anything negative about another independent church, or a Church Organization, or individual who doesn’t attend NTCC (and many times about those who are still attending).
• Paying tithe, offerings, and pledges to the local NTCC church, and the NTCC Graham church.
• Southern Gospel Music
• Church: 4 times per week.
• Bible Study: 1-3 times per week
• Soul–winning: 1-14 times per week
• Prayer meeting: 5-14 times per week
• Etc…
Did this help? This is the same ‘advice’ NTCC gives; and it satisfies all their constituents concerns, and answers all their questions, and prepares them for the long haul, and the rough road ahead, and proves NTCC is God’s last hope for the lost and dying of this world.
Yours In Him,
pdq
NS,
ReplyDeleteRight now I am taking a required class that has absolutely nothing to do with my major. U.S. History Before 1877. And the Professor only gave us 5 topics to choose from so I am writing on The American Revolution: Causes and Consequences. Can you feel me rolling my eyes? Oh and I hate this class. Not because I don't like history.. because I do like history.. But because the text book I have found is full of lies. It was supposidly updated in 2008 but they didn't change much. I wish the professor would have let us pick anything to write about from that time period but.. nope. So I choose the one that seemed the most intresting to me. The paper is not due until next week but I am going to be on vacation so I am trying to get it finished this week so I won't have to think homework or school while I am on vacation. I already have all the assignments done for next week. Just need to finish the final touches on my final paper.
PDQ,
Wow! I had to take a deep breath after I read that.. The only thing I find more disturbing then all the sayings NTCC has. Is none of them are original to NTCC and they were around long before their was ever an NTCC and because NTCC uses them they make people cringe who have since left NTCC when they hear them. Nothing in NTCC is original it has all been lifted (stolen, 5 finger discounted, etc) from other people, churches, religiouns, cults, etc. And yet somehow how they claim everyone is wrong except them.
1. they copy everyone else in some way, shape, form, or another
2. claim they are the only true church...
If they were the only true church they would have only things that are unique to them. And none of the crap they do is unique to them. As the bible says There is NOTHING new under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NIV)
9. What has been will be again, that has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
Ok well I have an appointment and then a bank account to open with another bank and a bank account to close with Washington Mutual(for those of you who had Washington Mutual they are now Chase and they are way into screwing you over which is why after 15 years I am closing my account with what used to be Washington Mutual). Which really sucks because I loved Washington Mutual. Now we are switching to a local Idaho bank and hope to God we don't end up moving any time soon I hate opening and closing checking accounts everytime ya move.
Hey pdq, I miss your musical signs at the end of your name ;) but
ReplyDeleteI was in kekel's class one time and I don't know how he got talking about laundry and you know how he was always getting off the subject and ranting on and on and on, but he said that his wife would iron his under clothes.
All the ladies made a sound of "huh?" because probably most would just wait to the last minute to iron the white shirt and never ever even thought about ironing the husband's under clothes like his drawers or undershirts.
Kekel looked at this puzzled look on the women and he cracked: "That's why I married her."
Not that I wish any ill will towards RWD or Kekel...
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about something, how God is really in charge of it all and how He even used heathen kings in the old and new testament to accomplish His mission.
Could it be, as corrupt as they both are, that God did place these two men in positions of leadership (still does not mean they are saved by any means) so that His will is accomplished regardless?
I know that God will use sinners to accomplish his mission regardless of the coldness of hearts, and in ways we do not understand.
Promotion cometh from the Lord. Obviously, God has promoted these two to their respective positions, whether we like it or not, no one has toppled them yet.
We do have a lot of Kekel want-a- bes. We also have a lot of Davis want-a-bes. Sooner or later, their authority is going to be challenged from WITHIN.
This happens with every mammal in the animal kingdom, and human beings are no exception. Stick around long enough and your LEGACY and LEGITAMACY will be challenged.
A gentleman made a comment earlier today that really meant a lot to me.
He stated, "Everyday above ground is a celebration". How true that is. Yesterday I had to perform funeral honors for a deceased veteran.
Prior to moving the coffin, I ensured that I took a good long look at the PIT that they were going to lay him to rest. The PIT was deep and unforgiving, and the deceased gentleman had no say in the matter.
The Gentleman was a veteran of three wars, and yet, there he was, deceased, in a casket, all his works, well, there was nothing to show for. Only a handful even attended the gravesite service.
Could it be, that we are spending so much time finding out what is wrong with NTCC that we are just wasting our time and should direct our energies towards more profitable pursuits in the name of the Lord?
If Kekel is corrupt, let him be corrupt still. If Davis is ______ (Fill in the blank), let him be ____ still.
Just some food for thought, that funeral yesterday made me realize that not all my priorities are in order. As God stated in the Word, set your house in order.
NTCC, with the right leadership, could be an awesome vehicle for God and the Holy Spirit. That is what I am praying for, again, no ill will, but that the leadership will be purged.

Crooks get rich! Bank robbers that don't get caught get rich! The mafia has rich people in it. There are rich drug dealers. There are rich thieves. There are rich pimps. There are rich gamblers. There are rich strippers. There are rich prostitutes. There are rich porn stars. The list goes on and on. RWD and Kekel are crooks plain and simple. Adolf Hitler had money. Saddam Hussein was LOADED and his two sons were also. Crooks are very talented at blessing themselves.
ReplyDeleteGod "ALLOWS" crooks to prosper. Their prosperity is often the only lot they will ever have for eternity.
Crooks prosper all the time, all year, every day and God "ALLOWS" it to continue. RWD and Kekel are no more than a couple crooks that God has allowed to prosper just like any other crook.
I'm convinced.
Jeff

ReplyDeleteExactly.
Sounds like RWD and Kekel to me. It's a perfect fit.

Jeff,
