Below is link to the second article about the NTCC printed in "The Dispatch", a South Pierce County Washington news paper. Looks like old Bruce (who wrote the article) took a heat round from Phil Kinson while attending service with the NTCC. That is a typical NTCC tactic and it's childish. Phil took Bruce's presents as an opportunity to take a cheap shop at journalists. I've seen NTCC pastors use that tactic so many times that it is utterly sickening. So I suppose that's how to win folks to Christ? What a joke is all I can say.
The next article will address folks opinion of the NTCC as a cult and I'm interested to see what is written.
Jeff
I am hoping that this ends up biting them in the arse! Bruce could take this to an even higher level. Tacoma Tribune, ect.
ReplyDeleteSeems pretty stupid to bash someone that is there to investigate the cult. Guess they figuired we put on a pretty face, chuckled. And that did not work. Lets bash away and try and diminish what he says in ink. they are hating that we can go on and leave comments. And more and more locals can know what they are really about.

I wonder if Julian Cox would have thought the NTCC was so pure while it's leaders occasionally referred to blacks as niggers?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how pure he would have thought they were when they were prohibiting interracial marriages while stating it was bad for member recruitment for a minister or future minister to marry outside of his or her race?
They didn't think it was bad for member recruitment for Pastor Kinson to throw insults at the reporter. They didn't think it was bad for member recruitment to separate couples if one of the two didn't want anything to do with the NTCC. They didn't think it was bad for member recruitment to call people names who were of other denominations and people with other beliefs. They didn't think it was bad for member recruitment to toss about crass insensitive jokes toward minorities and women or bash virtually everyone from the Democratic party.
Oh no, none of that was bad for recruitment but to marry outside of your race was a ministry stopper. Unfortunately Julian doesn't know how un-pure his leaders really are.
Julian will never mean a thing to Pastor Kekel, Kinson or Pastor Davis other than the tithes he pays and the numbers he produces. Julian is just another example of yet another poor brainwashed soul. So sad.
"I wonder if Julian Cox would have thought the NTCC was so pure while it's leaders occasionally referred to blacks as niggers?"
ReplyDeleteOccasionally? You may want to re-consult your memory, or talk to someone who was around before 2000, on how often this word was used by the senior leadership, and Pastors in NTCC.
In addition to the dirty/racial jokes routinely told by these same men.
Gregory
Unfortunately Julian doesn't know how un-pure his leaders really are.
ReplyDeleteActually, in the best cult-lingo and perhaps oldest slogan of the White Supremacist Aryan Nation, NTCC is really KEEPING IT PURE !!!
Unfortunately Julian doesn't know that to NTCC he is no more than a token black as were Curry and L. D. Jones and Denis.
Fortunately for Julian, when NTCC is "done" with him, he too will exit the weird orbit of the NTCCult.
Hey guys,
ReplyDeleteI have a question- I was told last night by a relative that Kekel had pioneered a church or churches in the past, this person was told that by him personally. Can any of you tell me if this is true? or is kekel just trying to make himself look good by lying?
The was i understand it is that the only thing kekel has pioneered is a salary for "music ministry" lol (gawwwdddd)
But seriously, i need to get to the bottom of this one, it will add much credibility to my argument if i can prove he is lying! :)
Thanks,
T
Folks, take these links. Go to your local newspaper. Send it in,for a news tip. Give a little background about you in this cult.
ReplyDeleteEspecially if your like me. I have a local ntcc church near me. And military they can prey on.
Just maybe more newspapers will pick it up and expose ntcc!

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Julian doesn't know that to NTCC he is no more than a token black as were Curry and L.D. Jones and Denis.
Jeff said...
How true. They used to write Denis's name in the trumpet at a different font size from all the other leaders. It was a smaller font size and I took note of it. That wasn't just coincidence. L.D. Jones may have risen to the top ranks now, but it wasn't until "AFTER" he was really given a rough time by someone senior to him in the NTCC ranks.
This is the truth about L.D. Jones because he spoke of it and I heard him. My testimony isn't a second hand account but a first, because I heard L.D. speak of it with my own two big ears.
L.D. attributed the occurrences of mistreatment toward him as somewhat of a test from God that wound up ultimately, in the end, working together on his behalf. He felt this because he quote "kept his mouth shut and let God work it out" throughout all the abuse and character assassination attempts made against him.
In our terms (here on this blog), L.D. was a "yes man" who allowed himself to get walked all over for the sake of not stirring up anymore trouble such as the kind he'd already endured. He certainly wasn't a Mordecai who we found spoke of in the book of Esther.
About the time that Denis became an overseer, the "higher up" NTCC leadership who most likely consisted of RWD and (Kekel who didn't like Denis at all), revoked the RV privileges of certain leadership positions one of which was Denis's. Nevertheless Denis was none too happy about that, and he spoke of it openly as well.
Curry obviously was also quite unhappy with the NTCC which is why he left the organization and left Denis as well.
The moral of the story is that Black leaders in the NTCC haven't faired well over the years as is evidenced by their own departure and or the abusive treatment they received. If L.D. Jones wasn't a "yes man" he would have left also because he self admittedly had been mistreated as well. I personally heard him speak of it as I've already stated.
Now L.D. is the good mannered, eloquent, Black Man, who currently happens to have better oratory skills then virtually all of is counterparts and contemporaries, and the NTCC has decided to promote him to the position of "token". This only happened because L.D. remained a "company man" and loyal to the NTCC hierarchy without remaining loyal to God by standing up against all the mistreatment that he not only endured but he witnessed the same poor treatment committed against so many others.
I believe this because they've slung the "N" word around for too many years for me to believe otherwise. If L.D. really wants to promote the Gospel he would be better served to leave the NTCC and build his "OWN" church.

"I was told last night by a relative that Kekel had pioneered a church or churches in the past..."
ReplyDeleteMike and I graduated in the same BS class (1983). He was an officeworker and teacher when he graduated, and then he went on the "evangelistic field," preaching revivals for probably a year or less, as I recall. To my knowledge, he's been involved with the administration of the organization, the "seminary," and the local church in Graham ever since he got there. We did leave NTCC in 1995, so if he's ever pioneered anything, it would have been more recently.
People revolve through the executive board, but a few names are always there. And people are always coming and going to and from Graham, but some are permanent fixtures, gathering their (green) moss.
gathering their (green) mo$$...
ReplyDeleteAnother gem Vic.
My wife has assured me that other than preaching some revivals, being a helper to Rev. Olson in a church neither of them pioneered, and doing what he has been doing in Graham since he built his only house in Graham (all since have been mansions) around 1985, Rev. Kekel has never pioneered a church.
ReplyDeleteReminder...Deborah was around, and in the work of the Lord, before Rev. Kekel ever arrived at Bible College.
Gregory
Did tanya go to the Philippines?
ReplyDeleteTanya was taken there in the 80's, by Rodger and Verna, with Lorrie D, so she could see were she was born.
ReplyDeleteWhen Mike went there with RW, he complained about how dirty it was, and that he didn't like it, and didn't want to ever go back. Mike made it very clear there was nothing there he ever needed to go back to.
Deborah
mikey. what a whiner! Was mikey ever director of world missions? hard to say with the musical chairs act ntcc does with its board members...guess the filipinos have no hope then; what with ntcc being the last "move of God on earth"... Sounds like they are describing themselves as something evacuated from the Deity's posterior! Funny as that sounds, even that would be too good for them. To quote r.w. hisself,
ReplyDelete"HELL IS TOO GOOD FOR YOU!"
Maybe mck was talking about the "pioneer" sound systems that he put in the campground. The sound has always been terrible in that place. rw always has made the point in telling everybody in the conferences that kekel goes there on his own dime to put everything together, the sound and the mic's, and he does it without asking the org for any reimbursement. Huh?

Deb was saying maybe Rev. Kekel pioneered the work in Graham? If this is the case then what we wrote before is wrong. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteGregory
HAHAHAHAHAHAH......YEAH, RIGHT.
ReplyDeleteOH, AND..................................................................................................AMEN!!!
I wonder what they really mean to "pioneered" a work.
ReplyDeleteI thought that this word was used when people go a place and start from the ground up, to say that mk pioneered the work in graham is a stretch. As I talked with people that were there in the beginning of this big church, they have related that the kekels were never in the actual soul-winning program, because they were busy enough with the choir, and the music program, plus he is the president of the seminary, although this is just a facade because we all know that it is rw who controls who goes to bible school and who he boots out. kekel has never had any control of anything, he is just one who will jump and hoot and holler like the rest. I remember how kinson said that kekel sometimes wished his father in law would leave them alone in running that big church.
But it is too late now...........
..................................PREACH!
ReplyDelete.................................AMEN!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't consider Graham a pioneer location for one minute. Not even a second. To pioneer a church means to go to a location where there is no one. That has hardly ever been the case with Graham.
ReplyDeleteThe NTCC brought folks with them to complete the transformation / move from St. Louis to Graham. There was always money coming in there. Kekel has had the silver spoon all along and everyone knows it. The NTCC isn't a church; it's a family run business and the Kekels are the heirs. Plain and simple. Folks wouldn't be bothered if the NTCC just called their corporation a business.
Business always practice nepotism but that is not expected in a church where God is supposedly the one who places people in positions.
Kekel a pioneer? Please. Just call it like it is and there are no insults. Kekel would be better off saying "I'm the son in law and it is what it is and if you don't like it, there's the door". Ha, ha.
Just don't insult our intelligence.
Jeff
Deb was saying maybe Rev. Kekel pioneered the work in Graham? If this is the case then what we wrote before is wrong. Sorry. Gregory
ReplyDeleteAaahhh. Satire.
I figured what she was saying and what Greg was relaying however in my book that is not a pioneer work. In fact it's no where close.
ReplyDeleteIn Graham he had a ready made church and a whole bunch of door knockers to bring folks in. Kekel was handed all that on a platter. Kekel may in fact be a good musician but I'll give him no more credit than he's due and he certainly gets no credit for being handed a church connected to the school of rules.
Jeff
Kekel "pioneering" Graham? Well let's see-- he didn't have to move out of his mansion, he didn't have to sell anything to find the money to go, he only has to drive his car about a mile to go to church, and a brand new expensive church was built with other people's money. I'd say.....NO he DIDN'T pioneer a church!!
ReplyDeleteAXP
And the people said,
ReplyDeleteAmen.
The only thing Kekel "pioneered" were new rules that helped "his" agenda.
ReplyDeleteIn Graham,
ReplyDeletethey even closed down local churches. And MADE the members attend Church in Graham. Make them travel further. As if it was this HUGE blessing to attend in the new chapel. Get in that stupid line to hang your coats, get back into that line to get them. PET peeve of mine. I stopped doing that, and carried my coat to my seat.
CM
I remember sis kinson when talking about the "new church" in graham she said that tk had a say of what colors she wanted in church like the color scheme and all that stuff, I guess tk is very good at coordinating colors and puting things together that look right.
ReplyDeleteWhen kinson was telling this, I really didn't pay attention, but later on, it dawn on me that rw gave the kekels this church.
I just remembered when rw preached that he still tells tanya to not do this or that or not to wear certain things because rw doesn't like it, I don't know if it was about snow boots or leather jackets or the like, rw has always controlled her life like that, and to say that rw doesn't tell kekel how to run his family life is a stretch because he does control their life, when they accept all his money and cars and all those material things, he is controlling them.
Also I remembered when rw would tell everybody in conference that if a preacher is in a place for 5 years and he can't reach somebody is because there was something wrong with the preacher. He used the illustration of when he started his first church and said that he filled it up with people from the place where he worked.
In other words, tell me how many people joined your church and I'll tell you how spiritual you are. All I'm saying is,okay if rw uses this pattern then why doesn't he uses this same rhetoric on his own family, the kekels, how many people has tk and mk "brung" to church and ended up joining or "got saved?" (ntcc lingo)
How many times have the kekels joined the blitzes?
Am I making sense?
blovd
rw gave the kekels this church.
ReplyDeleteBingo! blovd gets the prize for seeing the truth. That is exactly what happened there.
Notice too that kekels never had to work at winning souls or making rent payments or even paying for their own needs. Silver spoon all the way, bebe and meme.
Other Washington churches were closed down because kekels couldn't and wouldn't do the work to win people. So let's just close the local churches and force folks into our megachurch.
Got news for ya, ntcc. The building ain't the church.
THE BELIEVERS IN CHRIST ARE THE TRUE CHURCH.
davis used to preach against folks who put building programs ahead of winning souls to Christ. But we all know he's singing out the other side of his two-faced mouth now!
Just like what rdub and joey olson used to say, I can't hear you. Your life is saying something different than your mouth. And some people to know what way they are walking, you have to look at their feet.
ntcc is exactly like that! Their mouths say one thing (talk) but their lives do the opposite (walk).
H Y P O C R I T E S!
ntcc says sacrifice, while the ntcc cult cronies get rich off YOUR sacrifice.
ReplyDeletentcc says the worker is more important than the work, while rw davis threatens workers who are not performing the way davis wants.
ntcc says they love souls, but they don't have any charitable programs
ntcc says GO, DO, BE, while kekels stay in Washington their entire tenure except one very brief revival circuit years ago
ntcc says they have missionaries to get your pledge CASH, but the missionaries are told they are not true missionaries and don't need ntcc money to support them is there are GIs in the neighborhood
ntcc says don't steal a paper clip, but do steal money from governments by lying to their visa officials and saying the missionaries are only tourists
ntcc says you are saved by grace through faith and that is the gift of God, but ntcc then puts man-made rules above the word of God that preach people into hell for watching t.v. or giving tithe to say a destitute aunt instead of a filthy rich 'church'
ntcc says they that love the Lord, nothing shall offend them, then kekel and kinson throw 'evil filthy hissy fits' themselves from behind the pulpit slandering journalists accusing them of lying while never providing any proof of any lies...
and the hits just keep on coming
Off Topic.
ReplyDeleteI updated some text to my profile.
I included the names of those in the picture. Find out if you are there!
I've also included a brief glimpse into why Eric and I left ntcc.
The "Contact/Web Page" link should bring up an interactive Google Satellite Image of the ntcc national campground.
Enjoy!

accusing them of lying while never providing any proof of any lies...anon
ReplyDeleteActually, what the paper reported was:
"One clear departure from study was Kinson's asides chastising the inaccuracies of journalists, both modern day and biblical, which was not lost on the reporter from The Dispatch sitting in his audience." -- Bruce Smith, The Dispatch...
half a dozen of one, six of the other...but let's get it right...lest we be chastised for inaccuracies!
Ange
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteI have made some pretty raw but correct comments on the dispatch, hopefully all will be aired.
I emphasied Servicemen and women being duped by the NTCC, which is a correct assessment.
Good to see you still going strong on your Blog!!
Bro Johnson
Hey Bro J.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to here from you and trust all is well with you and your family. I would imagine that Army is treating you well also. It's a good deal to be on active duty. In my book it's as good as anything on the outside. Lots of benefits and time off in the Military.
Hey you might as well get to the meat of the matter. The NTCCs done a lot of damage to a lot of people and you know it as well as anyone. Good to hear from you Bro and I wish you the best.
My wife was climbing stairs knocking on doors well into her pregnancy also so I know what you and your wife experienced. At the doctors orders I had to put a stop to it because she was also on the verge of miscarrying as well. The NTCC leadership would "probably" never tell you this but I'm sorry about what you and your wife went through Bro while with the NTCC. I wasn't the one who invited you to the NTCC but I invited my share and now I'm doing the opposite by trying to prevent folks from unwittingly entering NTCC doors.
Jeff
One bozo made the comment . That there is a handful of ntcc bashers. I am looking at who is commenting in the comment section,
ReplyDeleteIt is not JUST the same folks that come on the blogs. Alot of different folks are coming up to the surface. Poking there heads out. To give there bit about the cult. And the damage it can do to people's live's!
Exciting to see new folks being willing to come forth. And shar even a few sentence's. Some folks thing that blogging on here is a time waster. That they have to much life to live to come on and post.
I do think that is funny. I come on here quite often. And enjoy doing so. Exposing this cult for what it is all about. Letting the world know what is lurking behind the fake love. So they don't get sucked in by that home atmosphere, home cooked meal will lure the Soliders in. First time away from home, and they are vunerable to there persuasions!
More of us that have escaped ntcc. Need to toss that lifeline to our fellow military members. Help them not become like us. Not live with the mental tramua we go through for the rest of our live's.
We are moving on. I know I am enjoying life! Making memories with my family and friends. BUT,I can still share the TRUTH! and not let ntcc slide through the cracks. With there cutsy changes. Oh,we are like any other mainstream Church. NOT! And people need to know!
CM
You are right CM; there's more than a handful. Some folks don't continue as long as others and there is nothing wrong with that, but there have been hundreds and no doubt thousands of people in the last five years who've blogged about the NTCC.
ReplyDeleteFar more folks then not have had negative things to say about the NTCC. The reason that more current NTCC folks don't blog to defend their church is because the NTCC leadership absolutely forbids that they participate because the leadership doesn't want them to learn the truth. Believe me, "learning" the truth is exactly what does happen quite often. I've seen it happen over and over. Some of the strongest defenders wind up exNTCCers. It is good to see all the participation on the Dispatch. Participation on the part of NTCCers always backfires on them. It's so funny because the one thing these crooked NTCC leaders can't seem to dodge is the truth.
Take it easy CM. You and I are on the same sheet of music where this blogging is concerned.
Your old blogging buddy,
Jeff
Some of the strongest defenders wind up exNTCCers. It is good to see all the participation on the Dispatch. Participation on the part of NTCCers always backfires on them. It's so funny because the one thing these crooked NTCC leaders can't seem to dodge is the truth.
ReplyDelete...................................AMEN!
"ntcc says they that love the Lord, nothing shall offend them," -- anon
ReplyDeleteJesus says as recorded in Luke 17,
Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
I dare say ntcc has offended more than one of these little ones more than a time or two. Woe unto them!
"but ntcc then puts man-made rules above the word of God that preach people into hell for watching t.v." - anon
ReplyDeleteGod's Word says:
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
[Romans 3v28 and 10v4]
It really doesn't matter if you watch t.v. or eat ham or go soulwinning... If you believe in Christ you're saved:
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10v13. No work there. Just faith.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2v8&9.
So stop frontin' all you ntcc door knockers. It's not your work that gets you to heaven. It's by grace.
Rest in Christ for a change.
Angela
door knocking to our knuckles bleed! and still no one would come out to Church. Would be so discouraging. Then you get bashed that your not working enough. That we are the reasons the Church is not growing.
ReplyDeleteThen I would start looking around on Sunday AM. At other Church parking lots. Wonder how in the world is there bldgs. Filled. And there NOT out doorknocking. Mike K. says the program works!!
It does not work. Even in Graham. How many people do they have out knocking on doors. and how many actually come to Church. AND CONTINUE going? Very, very few. But then they love to share that statistic junk. You have to knock on 100 doors to get one person out,JUNK! Brainwashing jargon. To keep us pumped up and continue knocking.
CM
"Then you get bashed that your not working enough. That we are the reasons the Church is not growing." -- CM
ReplyDeleteRight. But if it is YOUR church, a pioneer work somewhere, then in conference you get blasted,
"If YOUR church isn't growing, it's because of the man behind the pulpit!!! There's something wrong with YOU!! They don't want to come see you!!" -- r.w. davis blasting and bashing preachers who are out digging out the works that butter rdub's bread ($$$) for him...
Isn't it AMAZING that no matter what you do, in ntcc YOU are ALWAYS wrong...
rdub is a bona fides sociopath.
Sassy
