So Now TV Commercials Are Authorized As A Means To Advertise For The New Testament Christian Church?

Explain this one Mike? I thought watching the TV would put you in hell? That is what I heard preached in the New Testament Christian Church since 1985 and I'm sure long before I got there. You guys are such hypocrites that it is unbelievable. There goes Briggs again up to his same old tricks and I guess the New Testament Christian leadership thinks it's great.

Click on the first link below to watch the good old NTCC TV commercial. The second link will open Google images that include photos of DJ Brandi Garcia who's show the NTCC is a proud sponsor of. WOW she is hot!!!!!! The third link is a video of the show "The spotlight" with Brandi Garcia. ***This is not a hyper-link so you will need to copy and paste the link to your address bar to watch the video.*** Notice at how short her dress is. Botta Boom!!! If you don't see a problem with this (at least according to previous New Testament Christian Church standards) you are spiritually brain dead. For a secular church no problem; but for the holiest of holies, New Testament Christian Church? In a genuine NTCC Brother or Sister's mind? This should be a real problem.

Whatever. Some folks seem to like following hypocrites. I'm not the one. As for me and my family, we will follow someone else but certainly not the New Testament Christian Church leadership. Oh but there goes old bitter Jeff again with all his hate speeches. You are blind as a bat if you can't see how hypocritical the New Testament Christian Church has become and probably always was. RWD was just good at keeping us in the dark but the light is on now.

  3. All that lascivious stuff is out the door with Mike at the helm. Read the previous thread and it's become clear that Mike ain't to concerned with all this lascivious stuff anymore. I doubt he ever was.

Mike suggests that it's matter of the heart. The NTCCs leadership lost interest with legislating righteousness once they converted enough brainwashed loyalists who could guarantee enough perpetual cash flow.

  6. Yes it was but at least we stood for something. I never watched the TV in my room not once or anywhere else for that matter. RWD and the NTCC leadership to include all my pastors taught that watching the TV was unacceptable. It was considered sin. Period, point blank, bottom line. I would imagine that some of those ministers watched it every chance they got.

Guys like Briggs and Kekel have a history of bending and or breaking the NTCCs rules while doing everything they could to totally do away with them. And then to add insult to injury they've both suggested that the rules never even existed. Simply a misunderstanding on our part. We didn't listen good enough so they say. The old timers, (people who have been there at least 10 years or more) are all crooked. You would have to be to sit by while watching this circus and not leave. Like I said, no conscience.

A TV commercial? You've got to be kidding me. I would have never dreamed that I would see the day. As crooked as he also was Denis was right about the NTCC. He hit the nail on the head. He knew exactly what guys like Kekel, Kinson and Briggs were all about. It all started with the DVDs and look were it's gone from there.

I'm glad I'm not a part of it any more because I couldn't stand it if I was. I can't stand it now but a least I don't have to deal with it. I do what I want and I don't have some hypocrite NTCC pastor trying to tell me otherwise.

  10. Jeff,

It has been brought to my attention that there are a lot of "New Testament Christian Churches" out in the USA not affiliated with Graham (independant churches). Could this TV spot possibly be one of them instead of THE NTCC of America as we know it?

I'm not siding with NTCC, but it seems totally out of character for Briggs or anybody to do anything like this. Is Briggs taking ownership of this TV Commercial? Who is paying for it?

    Bro Johnson

  11. OK it IS Briggs.

I really do not know how I got this, just puttering around on the internet I came up with Brigg's so-called personal testimony on a revival service. Notice the familar "God will heal you and make you rich theme"

TIS' SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS. Here are just some of the highlights of what is only the beginning of very great things to come!
    • One man prayed for a financial miracle on the first night of the Revival and by the end of the week he was $6,500 richer.
    • Another of our preacher brethren did the same, needing a move of God in his finances, and was called early in week two and given close to $20,000.
    • Yet another man was distressed because his job was encroaching on his relationship with God. It worked him sometimes 12 – 15 hours a day. He brought his problem to the altar. The next day, in faith he spoke to his employer to see if he could be used in the shop on service nights but was met with a big - no. In faith he resigned stating "I needed God more than that Job" and within one hour of resigning he was employed with a raise to boot!
    • So many prayed and received healings, one young man confined to a wheel chair by a drunk driver many years ago was standing by the end of one of our services.
    • Another young lady crippled from birth stretched forth a withered hand and arm to the ecstatic tears of her mother.
So much, so much, was done I can't tell it all. In the end our time, with Rev. Ashmore stretched for 3 weeks and we even scheduled a fourth but, alas, he was called away. God however was not. Revival is still here!!! I can feel it in my bones! Revival! Not just for Pasadena, nor even the State of Texas, but revival for the Land! Come-on, Catch the flame!

So Briggs is catching the so-called Flame with TV! Briggs has gone worldy. He is a renegade preacher, no doubt.

  12. All Concerned,

Here is a quote from the 2006 edition from the NTCC Student Handbook

"Playing Cards, television sets, classical, country, pop, rock or rap music....and any other such immorality as set forth in the scripture is forbidden...We expect that students will continue to maintain these high standards even when away from Seminary"

Looks like SOMEBODY wants to do their OWN thing!!!

"Playing Cards, television sets, classical, country, pop, rock or rap music....and any other such immorality as set forth in the scripture is forbidden...We expect that students will continue to maintain these high standards even when away from Seminary"

    Jeff wrote...

I was told that Mike likes some of the types of music mentioned above. Someone previously in the choir said that Mike would occasionally play different types of secular music so the choir could listen and emulate the style.

So much for television sets being considered immoral. If the NTCC hasn't already, they will have to change the hand book on that one. How in the world can they consider the TV immoral when they are using it for advertisement? I just can't believe that people aren't leaving the NTCC in large numbers? How can these people possibly believe they are truly serving God in an organization that changes whats considered sin from one day to the next? It's mind boggling to me. I would never step foot in another conference.

I'm supposed to listen to Kekel or RWD or someone like Briggs try and teach me right from wrong when it's been proven that they change their tune every time the wind blows? Why isn't L.D. Jones or Ashmore or any of these other holy rollers who've been around for a while standing up for what is true and right and doing anything about this stuff?

Of course I don't know what goes on behind closed doors but I would at least expect to see more people coming on these blogs and confessing that guys like myself have been right about these NTCC crooks all along. Well a few have showed up here anyway and for sure the word is getting out.

The NTCC is THE most hypocritical organization that I've ever seen and do you know why? Because I haven't seen other churches place such heavy moral burdens on their people for decades, just to totally change their tune while claiming that certain practices are no longer considered sin and in many cases never were. You see the greater the NTCC changes their beliefs, the greater the hypocrisy.

Brother, the use of the TV would absolutely have previously put you in HELL according to every NTCC pastor that I've ever heard preach, bar none.

You older NTCC pastors absolutely stink if, you are sitting back and doing absolutely nothing to stand against this hypocrisy. You guys never had a problem preaching at your subordinates so how about getting a back bone and do some preaching at your peers? Call Briggs up and tell him he is a hypocrite. Call Kekel up and ask the mighty CEO why Briggs is being allowed to do this junk after it was preached against for the last 40 years. Call RWD or Olson if you have a back bone and really make a stand for God.

Start your own blog and put your name on it so people know who you are and stand up against these hypocrites.

  14. Jeff,

“The Spotlight” with Brandi Garcia is a local color TV show, airing on channel 2 Huston, right after the Jimmy Fallon Show. This TV show, which NTCC helps pay for, and is a proud sponsors of (NTCC's words), features short dresses, sleeveless tops, cut hair, make-up, jewelry, worldly music, worldly personalities, worldly events, and worldly activities. Good stuff.

Here’s the link for her first show:

  15. What in the world Greg!!! I'm sure you noticed how short her dress was??? You couldn't help but notice. This is the show that the NTCC is a "PROUD SPONSOR" of? I never dreamed that I would see the day that the NTCC leadership would allow this. You want to talk about worldly according to NTCC standards. Modest? Lascivious?

The NTCC is a complete joke. Look at all the nice NTCC girls on the advertisement and then comes the BOMBSHELL!!!!! Big Booty Brandi, botta boom, botta bing. Dress practically up to her crotch. Thats right. Look at the video folks. I almost forgot. Briggs says you've got to reach the lost and I guess this is how the NTCC does it these days. With the Bronx Bombshell.

Here is the Briggs, Kekel song.

I like big butts and I can not lie, and Rev Briggs can not deny. When Brandi comes on the show, brothers walk through his doors with a glow. They like to look at her nice short dress, NTCC brothers minds are a mess. They think they are winning souls, and they don't like the big sisters roles. Thats why they watch old Brandiii, she looks just as sweat like candy. Baby got back wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wik, baby got back.

Why am I making such a joke about this? Because the NTCC has become a joke and I can't believe that people take dudes like Kekel and Briggs serious anymore. Look at the video and then tell me I'm lying.

"Oh we are trying to win souls for Christ. What have you don't for the Lord lately Jeff?"

Get off that mess NTCC folks because I'm not hearing it. Short dresses and TV shows were never the NTCC way for "soul winning" thank you.

And Mom and Pop Gaylord? I'm sure they would have been gone long ago, Just like the rest of us. They just happened to die before all the changes, Or he wouldn't have a library named after him and they could have gotten talked about from the pulpit themselves.

  18. Jeff,

NTCC is all about 'Do as I say and not as I Do".

I recall John MacDonald stating that "You can't legislate righteousness". What NTCC is doing is legislating worldliness.

Remember, you cannot destroy water. It will always be in three forms: A solid, a liquid, and a gas. Nevertheless it is still water, it never changes.

NTCC is not water. It has changed. NTCC is a worldly church now regardless of how you splice it, it is still NTCC, but not as we used to know.

The problem now is, no one in NTCC except for the elect even KNOWS what NTCC used to stand for. This makes Davis, Ashmore and Kekel's (along with many others) turning a blind eye to the obvious that much more damming. THEY know. And they know that WE know.

That is why you do not see people defecting. Why walk away from a mainstream church when it reminds them of their church back home? It is not that obvious anymore.

EVERY Preacher in the NTCC needs to make a choice. Either split like they did in 2004, or forever have their conscious seered with a hot iron KNOWING that they could have stood up and done something about it. To see this going on and not doing anything about it, not standing up to it makes ALL NTCC preachers compromisers. Or, they believe a lie and be dammned.

  19. What is the difference between FACEBOOK and TV? Facebook users have certain freedoms that just watching TV does not. They have a choice to decide WHO is their friend.

The TV just feeds programming to you, rather you like it or not. So I can understand why NTCC has now turned to TV. They can legislate what they want people to see or THINK about NTCC more effectively. They have TOTAL control. That is what Kekel is all about. Controling YOU. That is a definition of a CULT, hook, line, and sinker.

FACEBOOK on the other hand opens up room for DEBATE which the spinless NTCC mafia cannot stand for they know that anyone with half a brain who challanges them will cause them to MELT.

    Jeff said...

Yes I saw that. Probably too much backlash from the last batch of pictures. You know my family and your family went through a lot while we were with the NTCC. You've read my stories and I've read yours. I don't know if people realize why you and I are so dogmatic concerning the NTCC? To put it in simple terms and plainly, I believe that you and I want people to realize just how damaging the NTCC can be to a family. Buddy I followed their rules. There was no TV in my house for the better part of 7 years. My daughter didn't get to play sports or participate in GYM because of the NTCC dress standards. NTCC pastors (plural) wrote letters addressed to my daughters school, (that we still have copies of) explaining why she (due to our religious beliefs) couldn't participate in gym class.

Now the local NTCC pastors wife regularly goes to the public Ft. Benning Gym in spandex tights. We are talking spandex tight pants!!!! One of the sisters who used to be in the local NTCC with my family, saw the pastors wife in the gym, wearing the tights and the Sister almost had a cow!!!! This Sister was plowed from the pulpit and publicly humiliated during the time that she was transforming to NTCC dress standards and it hurt her a lot emotionally to see the pastors wife recently wearing tights in the gym. She said that after she thought about it (seeing the pastors wife in the gym in tights) and really internalize the gravity of the situation she literately cried. Brother that is sad.

It bothered me to hear about it. I felt like my daughter had been literately robbed. I feel like we have been cheated and tricked. Because of this and many other negative situations in our life surrounding our involvement with the NTCC, I've developed an extreme disdain for the organization. And you know what? I don't want to see other people experience such atrocities as my family did while we were with the NTCC and even now that we've left.

This blog WILL serve as a warning to those who either are, or could potentially become a part of such a crooked church organization specifically the NTCC. I wish I'd known someone with the knowledge that I have who could have warned me about the snares and pitfalls surrounding the NTCC before I brought my family into that mess.

So it makes me sick when I see what the NTCC is doing now with allowing and promoting sports, and tight spandex on women, and TV, and secular college attendance. Buddy we were tricked plain and simple and I don't take that lightly. I'm not going to be a fair weather blogger because the blogging has bairly begun. By Gods grace this blog will NEVER come down and it will stand as a testament which will damn these NTCC leaders in the day of judgment because God knows what I've written is true. They better come clean and repent and make right the wrongs, because even though God may not be happy with a sinner, he can't stand a hypocrite, and Christ made that quite clear in the Gospels. They shall have the greater judgment.

Bro Jeff, I know this is asking a lot, but if someone could seriously take a picture of her and post it on the internet, it would be the end of NTCC in the Fort Benning area.

Remember, it was Kinson who stated "Those filthy barracks...."

  27. I thought about the whole picture thing but I digress. I'm going to respect the mans wife by not sticking her photos all over the internet but it did cross my mind. Really it came as little surprise because quite a while ago she had told my wife that it was OK for women to wear sweat "pants" to exercise. I don't agree with that.

If you don't believe that a woman should wear pants then you don't wear pants. You don't make exceptions so you can go show your booty at the gym in tight spandex with hundreds of men walking around. Come on man, you've got to be kidding me. These people are such hypocrites.

Of course spandex tights are in fact taking it to another extreme!!! Buddy my wife found a picture of an NTCC woman on the internet wearing finger nail and toe nail polish and she "IS" a pastors wife currently. Another picture of an NTCC pastor with a muscle shirt. This was the same guy that told me that I had to have a t-shirt on under my regular shirt. She found a picture of another NTCC woman (who's been around the NTCC for years) at a college foot ball game. No kidding. My wife is a genius at digging up these pictures. These football games are usually on Saturday so that knocked out either soul winning or church or both. I had a few NTCC pastors who absolutely would have given a good blasting to someone for attending a college football game. RWD would have blasted everyone over a football game on Saturday.

I don't mind busting people out but posting pictures of a man's wife to me wouldn't be good. I wouldn't want someone to do that to me. I decided I'd show a little more decency then these NTCC creeps. Having said that Bro J, you can bet that it crossed my mind. I really did give some thought to doing it. I was told that she attends fitness training at the Ft. Benning Gym regularly so it wouldn't have been too hard to get a good snap shot.

The fact is these folks stink to high heaven. Like a always say, I can't stand a hypocrite. Serve God or don't but don't practice double standards and don't be a hypocrite.

    Take it easy Bro J.

  28. Bro Jeff,

Roger! Very good insight. A picture does say a thousand words. Today I took about 35 pictures of messed up rooms in the barracks. When the Soldiers got counseled, what could they say? the evidence was overwhelming.

Agreed though, why should we lower our standards? We all know the standard, it is up to us all to choose how we want to live. Obviously, in the case with NTCC, they have made their choice. Live any old way they want. They are running out of topics to preach about since they live counter to what they preach.

    Bro Johnson

    ReplyDelete
  29. What else can we say? Is there really anything anybody can add to all this double standard?
People that have been in ntcc for over 25 years or more can attest that there have been changes but they have been so indoctrinated that they will continue to go on because they think that they are fighting God.

Number one, we don't even know who you are. Number two, why do you assume that folks are interested in having you grace their congregation with your presents especially being that we don't know who you are? Number three, even if you were sincere and you were sincerely looking for a church, you must realize that folks who post here live all over the U.S.

Frankly I wouldn't expect that anyone would want to provide an address to someone who essentially doesn't even exist due to their anonymous request.

Lastly, even though this "may" not be the case with you, Mr. or Ms. Anonymous, NTCCers have a habit of making inquiries concerning where exNTCCers attend church service. NTCCers have been known to make such inquiries for no other reason than to judge someones spiritual stability and they base their judgment solely on where someone attends church service.

Having said all that you may want to try a different approach if you are really interested in finding a church which I sincerely doubt.

    Maybe this...

    Maybe that...

Maybe anything is possible. Maybe nothing about them surprises me anymore. Maybe they want to sow more discord among the brethren; like they did between us and our Brothers and Sisters still in their Cult.

Pretty soon maybe a person won't even have to go to their official website to find an NTCC location...all that will need be done is monitor secular TV shows for sponsorship adds.

I question the whole thing. The NTCC has showed it's real colors. The advent of the world wide web has exposed the NTCC leadership for what it really is. It was a snow job the whole time. It's never been about holiness and separation from the world. If it was RWD and his fellow leaders wouldn't stand for all this worldliness. They would simply run some of these pastors off to include Kekel if they really wanted to please God more then man as they've always stated.

It obviously wasn't about holiness but it was clearly about money and control the whole time. Now that the NTCC is self sustaining, they've slacked up their standards CONSIDERABLY and it's as obvious as the nose on your face. Kinson and Kekel are liberal and RWD has no problem with it. Kinson and Kekel want the NTCC to be mainstream and they've been gradually promoting a departure of the NTCC old time standards for years. The catch is that RWD has been watching it all happen while doing nothing but providing support.

Face it. We were fooled and duped. Played like the suckers that we were. Used, abused and spit out like second hand, warn out clothing. As long as you didn't question these guys ever, they didn't have any problem with you sticking around but of course you better keep paying that tithe because that is what your salvation is all about. You could and can slack up on just about every rule that the NTCC leadership came up with but you better not slack up on paying tithe or your salvation is considered finished.

  46. Jeff,

So it was all about money all along. It was not about God. All in the name of a measly buck.

Give RWD and his cronies some credit. Their snow job worked and made them (the elite few) fility rich.

If RWD had any godliness about him he would have kicked them clowns out long ago.

Dennis deserves some credit, too he saw NTCC for what it was and bolted, along with the not so "devils" that went along with him.

I was thinking about something today, what happens to NTCC when RWD Dies? What will the funeral be like? Will exNTCC'rs be happy or sad? Will they feel vindicated?

What else can NTCC do to shock that they have not already done?

Here is another stunner: If NTCC preachers have different standards, how does that compute with an attendee? What if one practices holiness standards while antoher does not?

    Just some food for thought!!

Of course thats happing right now. Kekel, Kinson and Briggs aren't into this holiness stuff but a whole bunch of other pastors have been for sure. Some wear shorts some don't, some wear nail polish and some don't, some wear jewelry and some don't, some wear tight football pants and some won't, some go bowling and some don't, some do the TV and some don't and the list goes on and on. Some wives of pastors wear pants and some don't. The NTCC is a sick joke. More like a nightmare.

  48. I never thought I'd see the day that ntcc would use the "devilvision" to advertise their "church" services. I thought God chose the foolishness of preaching not the "devilvision" to save them that believe!

So do we have your permission now to watch Rudolf the Red-Nosed-Reindeer next Christmas when it airs on CBS? Or is that too sinful and worldy for your delicate ntcc sensibilities?

    Compromisers.
