To the left is a picture of an NTCC van with a cracked windshield. Kind of like the one down in Jackson, Mississippi.
RWD always taught that we should aspire to be like New Testament Christian Church Pastors. Sorry but you can have it. For those of you who don't know, Pastor R. Terry is now the pastor of the NTCC in Jackson Mississippi since Pastor Barnes left. The church van/bus in Jackson, Mississippi is Pontiac Montana with a cracked windshield. The Pontiac Montana is no longer made and received a "Poor" rating by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It was also ranked the "Worst Performing Vehicle". Not exactly what I'd want to be riding to church in. Point being is that this van has "low budget" written all over it which is typical to find driven by someone in the NTCC. I wonder why the NTCC would buy such a cheap, low budget van? Why don't the Kekels live this way? Are they that much smarter than everyone else or do they just receive preferential treatment? Are the Kekel's so much more spiritual than everyone else that the Lord primarily blesses them? Which one is it? The Kekel's sure live better than the Terry's, of that you can be certain. Aw, they let Terry lead song service during conferences. I guess that makes it all worth it. All you've got to do is give him a bone. Crumbs from the masters table baby.
Additionally why is it that the NTCC hasn't updated it's "official website" reflecting Pastor Terry as the Jackson, Mississippi Pastor? He has been there for a good part of this year. What is the NTCC trying to hide? That Bellamy and Barnes have left? The NTCC official website is simply a lie. They've had more than enough time to update it.
Anyway I wouldn't want to live like Pastor Terry is living at around 50 years old. My family deserves better and so does Pastor Terry's wife. The Terry's live in a low/special income apartment dwelling in Jackson. Other than the Kekels or a few other special privileged NTCC preachers, is that what an NTCC pastor has to look forward to at 50 years of age? Driving a low budget outdated crappy Pontiac van with a broke windshield and living in a low income dwelling place? WOW!!!
Serve almost 30 years in the NTCC and this is what you have to look forward to? Get sent to pick up the pieces of a church that the long time pastor (Barnes) left, and live at or below the poverty level? At about 50 years old? And Terry was sent there specifically and primarily because he is black and there is a fairly sizable population of blacks there who don't have a problem paying tithes and offerings? There are Whites in Jackson too you know. I guess there aren't too many white pastors who've had a whole lot of success getting tithes out of the white population in the south. So does God primarily care about the blacks in the south? The NTCC sent Terry down there in an attempt to attract the blacks; same reason they sent Mayers to Atlanta and Davis to Macon and Solomon to Dothan. White Pastors before Mayers didn't fair so well in Atlanta. They tried to mix up the Atlanta deal with a couple white helpers but that didn't work out too well cause they all got sick of Mayers shenanigans and left him. After a while Mayers didn't work out too well either. If he is even still with the NTCC, he has been riding on auto pilot for a while now. Money and numbers baby; that's what it's all about.
Tanya Kekel can spend the money blacks give just like she can spend the money whites give. I don't see the NTCC sending the Kekels down to Jackson to live like that? You can keep that mess. This is the NTCC way. If you don't see it you are blind. By the way, why did Barnes leave the NTCC? Maybe he knew something that the people who are still with the NTCC don't or don't want to admit. Barnes won't be sending his church money to Graham anymore or paying for more RVs. He won't be taking in anymore money which could be used to put G. Kekel through a Catholic college either. Has anyone even asked why Barnes left? No because most are scared. The NTCC leadership wouldn't tell you the truth anyway. I wasn't a big fan of Barnes but he was smart to fly the coop.

Is Rev. Terry living with his grandmother?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't know? I guess it's possible but once again, I wouldn't know.
ReplyDeleteJesus was a penniless preacher from Nazareth, something to consider.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing about this is that 99% of the folks in the ntcc will live like this for the rest of their lives. Even the ones that pastor churches with lots of tithe paying folks are only paid $500.00 per month minus $50 bucks tithe.
ReplyDeleteThe ntcc system is set up this way and if you can't see it you are blind. Unless you are a member of one of the royal families, you will always just be scraping by. If you are privileged enough to have 100 members in your church, you might get a few "blessings" every once in a while when your congregation supports you or buys you things but very few get to live a prosperous life. The only way you'll get ahead is if you steal from the ntcc, like they have stole from you.
That's it. The key to success in the ntcc is to steal, cheat and lie. Why not? The ntcc does all three. When you take something that doesn't belong to you it is stealing. When you manipulate people into giving you money under false pretenses you are cheating them. When you open your mouth and say things that are not true, you are a liar.
Here is an example of one action that covers all three of these bases. The ntcc "escrow" fund system. As a former book keeper in more than one of the ntcc servicemen's homes, the escrow fund has been explained to me multiple times and many of us have seen the letter signed by Kekel that explains the escrow.
The Escrow is an account that is funded by the members of a church that is supposed to be used for repairs, modifications, expansion, etc. Let's use the example of the $279,000.00 escrow in Killeen which 3 or 4 hundred thousand by now. The Reeds want to make repairs to the church. They are told, "That's not your money, Reed. Take up an offering".
First of all, this is a lie. People are giving their hard earned money to the church under the deception that their money is going towards the needs of that church. These GIs are already giving 10% of their gross, home offerings, world missions pledges, budget offerings and the list goes on.
This is where it becomes cheating. They deliberately deceive folks by making them think that the money they are giving is going into a fund that can be accessed by the local Pastor for repairs and needs that the church may have. Then they lay a guilt trip on the Pastor when he tries to ask for the less than one percent of the money for a need that should be covered. This is manipulation and the ntcc uses it to cheat people out of their money.
When the ntcc zeroes out an escrow and appropriates the thousands of dollars for whatever they want, they are stealing that money from the people who gave it under false pretenses. The escrow has been explained to me several times by different pastors and this info is often made public to members. I've heard Pastors explain the escrow to their members and these members will give thinking that their money will be used for what the liars in Graham have said that it will be used for.
Doesn't anybody out there wonder why Davis and Kekel are rich and folks like Reginald Terry at the age of close to 50 are living way below the poverty level? Don't think that it won't happen to you.

Oh I understand what you are saying LT. I've considered that but my problem with the whole thing isn't the preachers who live at or below the poverty level. It's the way they are being used by the NTCC leadership. It's the double standard. It's the whole nepotism thing. It's the fact that in the book of Acts goods were distributed but in the NTCC they go in one direction like a pyramid scheme. Thats probably the reason that Barnes left. He probably got sick and tired of sending a large percentage of the money that came into his church to Graham. I can understand a Christian not living a lavish lifestyle but it's not right to be directed to take up special offerings for stuff like song books and pews when there is money existing in all kinds of other areas.
I wouldn't want to live like the Terry's especially if I'm sending money to Graham so the privileged ones can live like fat cats. I do understand your point though LT and I'm sure you understand mine. Have a good one my friend.
Chief
Also, I'll bet you wouldn't see RWD or Kekel driving around in a Pontiac Montana with a cracked windshield. I looked up the Pontiac Montana today in a 2005 consumer reports and to put it plainly, consumer reports considers a piece of junk. The point being, that's indicative of the mentality of many NTCC pastors and it's common in the NTCC. So many people in the NTCC drive garbage and that fact has been chronicled over and over on this blog and all the rest. The question is, why are so many people in the NTCC living and acting like they are in poverty? I know why. Because the NTCC system is set up that way.
ReplyDeleteI focused on Terry's age for a reason. If the NTCC is so great, shouldn't a minister who is about 50 years old and who's been with the NTCC for around 30 years live under better conditions? Why is it that so many don't? IT'S SIMPLE!! Because they give too much of their own money away to the NTCC and for the sake of the NTCC. Well I have more money now than I ever had while I was in the NTCC. My bank account is much fatter and it's just that simple.
Terry is in Jackson for one reason. Cause Barnes left. Called by God to go to Jackson? Even though it's possible I seriously doubt it. The fact is no one will ever know for sure but what we do know is that Barnes left and that's why Terry is there. That is also common in the NTCC. Pastors by default. Why is it that many of the ones that RWD always considered to be great left the NTCC? Barnes, Denis, Curry, Reed and the list goes on. Wouldn't it seem like there is something to it? To a blind man it would?
Don't EVEN get me started on Tanya Kekel!!!
ReplyDeleteTanya is spoiled. Tanya is the little rich girl who has had everything handed to her on a silver platter and it shows with her attitude. She may be the most spoiled woman in America.

Money should only be used as a tool much like a hammer that drives a nail or to take care of our families. The problem that a few in the ntcc must face is why so many hammers to drive one nail?
Jesus has much to say about money you can read about a rich ruler in the gospel of Luke.~LT

ReplyDeleteAccording to MCK, the reason some don't have what he has is because they don't have the faith he has. You are an ignorant little weasel, MCK, proud and arrogant, and you haven't changed a bit in all these years but only gotten worse.
You ought to be humbled by the things you have been blessed with, but your heart is corrupt. While you should be thankful to these same people who don't have the faith you have, as you preached about, you continue to rail on them and show them how mighty and full of faith you supposedly are. You're full of something, but it ain't faith.
These same people who don't faith like you, have given all they have for the Gospel. What have you done but act like a fat cat and receive blessings from your father-in-law?
Go ahead and run off all those people who have given their lives to an organization whose leaders live by one set of rules and preach another. THAT'S THE ANYWAY GOAL, ISN'T IT? You all sure act like it. You've got it all already, don't you? What does it matter to you, because evidently you don't care about the souls you supposedly have such a burden for, especially the angels of God's church, or you wouldn't treat them way you do, you weasel.
We don't have faith like you do, but we pioneered churches and put every last dime we had in some cases, into the work of God. We didn't buy houses. We didn't even care about houses. We didn't have children. We didn't care about children. We put ministry first and God is still first, and you're going to say you have more faith than we do?
This would all be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic. We're coming on a year outside of NTCC and God has shown Himself to be what He's always been, faithful, even more now than ever. God's just like that, and that's on the outside, you weasel.
If half the people in Graham who are thinking about leaving actually did it, you would have a very empty church this morning. So get back in your hole, you arrogant little weasel.
MDR
And if ntcc ever updates their web site, we'll see Barnes isn't the only one who has left. Some are leaving quietly, but they are still leaving nonetheless.

I wouldn't say MCK is ugly. He is not a bad looking guy.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for whoever knows this, I looked on the official website of NTCS, Tanya Kekel is listed as a teacher, what does she teach exactly? Behaviour of women, ways women should dress? I am sincerely curious what she does teach and how she helps her Fathers business.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There is someone for everyone. I've seen a lot uglier men with women a whole lot finer than Tanya. I would say comparatively that Mike is better looking for a man then Tanya is for a woman. I don't think Tanya is very good looking.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning to all in Cha Chief land. The Kansas city Cha Chiefs beat the Broncos yesterday, making them the team with the worst record to make it in to the playoffs. The 8-8 Broncos made it in thanks to the Raiders losing their game. This makes the Broncos the easiest target in the playoffs and Pittsburg will get a crack at them at Mile High next week. I still feel the same way about the Broncos that I have in the past, I just think that at this time in their journey they needed a little adversity.
ReplyDeleteThe Patriots are on a role and have home field advantage throughout the Playoffs. Not sure if anyone in the AFC will be able to stop the Patriots and if they make it to the Superbowl, it looks like it's shaping up to be a shoot out, with the high scoring Packers or Saints as likely opponents.
Sorry to change the subject Chief but getting back to business, the ntcc is still a cesspool for hypocrites and men pleasers. There are many folks that are trapped in this organization and probably will be for life. Many are victims as we all were but there are quite a few that are willing members of this deceptive group. People that have a lust for power seem to thrive in this environment. I noticed that the lifers in the ntcc are usually tight wads and many seem to have their consciences seared. I wonder sometimes if people like R. Terry live in places like this because they are so tight with their money after years of getting blasted over financial matters.
This is definitely not an isolated case. This seems to be the rule in the ntcc, with very few exceptions. Ntcc ministers are usually dirt poor and expected to "put things together" at the expense of not providing for their families.

De-throne Davis from your heart and replace him with the truth. Jesus wouldn't let the people make him king after the feeding of about five-thousand then why do you make Davis your king? I say anyone can stand behind a pulpit and scream at people, the devil does it all the time. Jesus said follow me. Davis is not the truth, Jesus is. Think about it, have you elevated creature above creator? I know the doctrine of the ntcc and it wants you to lift your leaders above all else. I hope this year that you leave this man made religion and find rest for your souls. Ephesians 2:8-9
ReplyDeleteWow,Reginald's still drinking the Koolaid. He was the first person I told that I left NTCC. I mentioned it to him in the parking lot on the way to my car, right after dropping the bomb on RW. Another brother told me that he said he could hardly believe that I had "left God" like that. Here it is fifteen years later, and he's still spinning his wheels. I really hope he figures it out before he gets so feeble that his options all vanish.
ReplyDeleteJust let him lead a few song services in conference and you got him hook, line, and sinker. Make him feel good.
ReplyDelete"I don't think Tanya is very good looking."
ReplyDeleteI don't either, and will go even further in saying that her personality, as well as he attitude makes her ugly, in my opinion. I know that Mike Kekel reads this so Mike, this is for you...
Mike, I resent Tanya coming with you, and I resent her "In your face" wannabe "take charge", "take control" attitude. She is the living female embodiment of R'Dub. Just be glad that my wife was there, because there were so many things I wanted to say to her but could not. I don't know what you ever saw in her in the first place. The only thing I can come up with is dollar signs in the end. She is such a spoiled brat with a sense of entitlement. I better get out of here before I say something that will have my comments deleted by the moderator.
Howdy Folks,
ReplyDeleteI don't post here very often - but I try to read the all of the posts. I like to listen to the accusations and weigh them, along with the evidence.
'Tis an interesting discussion, to say the least. I try not to take sides on any issue raised during the course of the discourse - without first examining the evidence.
I understand many people are emotionally volatile due to their personal negative experiences. So a little bit of gritty emotion can be an asset in addressing the various topics.
However, I must say, there have been bundles of threads that not only caused me to stop and call into question the credibility of the poster simply because of the personal attacks against those who have offended you.
It seems to me, this blog could be so much more effective without the negative attack slams against individuals.
One last observation, there are so many legitimate issues that could be covered, it would seem counterproductive to waste time on the frivolous attacks (as is often the case).
Here is a funny link about a topic that has been extensively covered:
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2011/12/28/ac-the-ridiculist-3-love-criticizers.cnn
how is writing the truth about someone considered negative slams ?
ReplyDeleteto call someone a hypocrite because their fruit and their actions prove this.... that is not negative... it is called a fact.
ReplyDeleteJesus said you'll know a person by the fruit they produce.
Why are there more than 2 to 3 witnesses bearing witness to the fact of the disappearing escrow money if everything is on the up and up ?
Where do those in the upper echelons of the NTCC machine get the money they have ? From investments ? What investments ? OPI ? Other peoples investments ?
Why are the escrow accounts zeroed out ?
What are they doing with the money ?
Why be so secretive about it ?
Either way, Jesus said your works will be exposed. That's all that is happening now in the ntcc.
enough of that for now, i have to go read how the media is trying to make Ron Paul look insignificant even though there are thousands of people wanting him to win.
It's kind of like how NTCC tells people not to talk with an ex-member because they have left God and are angry and disgruntled. This is not the case with many people. NTCC leaders have heart problems that they need to work out within themselves, but it's hard to do when they can't stop the money machine from growing.
They should shut down the church activities and functions and get back to God instead of making excuses and covering up their sins as they get caught committing them.
talking about how someone looks is frivolous and immature

Howdy Anonymous. I wonder if you stop and call into question the credibility of Jesus when he made personal attacks against the religious ntcc types of his day, known as the Pharisees, whom he referred to as Hypocrites and Vipers. Not only did he call them names that were fitting to their lavish lifestyles, works and actions, but he physically drove them out of the temple when he seen them making merchandise in the house of God.
I suppose we should all just play nicer and be a little kinder and gentler towards the greatly revered MOG ("Men of God") in the ntcc as they were so kind and loving towards all of us. How many X-ers out there were allowed to leave peacefully? How many X-ers had their names and reputations drug through the dirt after leaving the ntcc? How many were called devils and liars and accused of Pornography and Adultery and the list is long.
Anonymous, you really need to wake up. Ntcc sympathizers all turn a blind eye to the evil deeds of the ntcc leadership. They can commit adultery and get promoted, they are untouchable and off limits to everyone. "Touch not mine anointed" they teach, so that people like you will spend the rest of your lives thinking that everything is Hunky Dory. It's okay for them to shun the poor, the widow and the fatherless. It's okay for them to publicly blast people and openly humiliate them. It's alright for them to physically, emotionally, spiritually and sexually abuse people. They get a pass every time because people like you are so scared to say anything against them.
We are supposed to sit back and say nothing when we see them taking advantage of folks by scamming them out of their hard earned money while they are living large and prospering off of those they conned out of their paychecks. They are swindlers and they do it with no remorse and no guilt. They have made merchandise out of the people that loved them.
You really have no stake in this matter, Anonymous. You are like the cows that are being led to the slaughter. You get in line and march straight towards impending doom, thinking this is what all the rest of the herd are doing. I might as well keep marching like the rest of the sheeple, not really knowing or caring where it's going to lead you.
Personal attacks. That is one of the most hypocritical accusations I've ever heard. If it barks like a dog, it's probably a dog. Call it like you see it.

ReplyDeleteI know you mean well. It just seems that you have a tendency to make a big deal out of things - even when the thing itself is not relevant or effective in what I perceive to be the purpose of this blog, as well as your own blog.
I am not at all attempting to give anyone a "free pass". Just some advice from a neutral observer.
Anybody can let their blood boil, until they explode in anger.Spewing forth irrelevant derogatory remarks about the way people or, or other things that may be beyond their control - but it makes you look bad when you do it.
BTW - special thanks to "Just Saying" for helping clarify what I was attempting to explain in my initial post on the subject.
Exposing "the truth" is always a good thing.
No qualms there.
Presenting verified facts about organizational misdeeds, along with specific instances of the abuse of power can and will do so much more to build your case against the ntcc.
Jesus always did those things that pleased the Father. Jesus faced far worse wolves in sheep's clothing than most of us have yet to encounter.
There are many things presented as gospel truth among some of the regulars in this forum - when in fact the accusations are based on hearsay.
At the same time there a a multitude of credible testimonies shared that help shed light on the corruption so prevelant within the NTCC.
Please don't give me that worn out excuse that "the ntcc does/did the same thing to us - so we justified in treating them the same way to get them back".
Please continue your mission - all I am trying to say is... if you just dial back the unnecessary inflammatory personal attacks and stick to the issues - I think more people would be willing to consider your points of view.
Bottom line - You can expose corruption without having to resort to middle school tactics.
The Outside Observer (or TOO, for short).

Looking at this thread alone, there are quite a few people who speak strongly against the ntcc using some pretty colorful metaphor's to describe specific people and actions in the ntcc. Perhaps you can be a little more specific about what you think is more relevant or effective. I would like to know a little more about what you perceive is the purpose of this blog, and if you desire for us to be more specific, why not apply the same standard to yourself and let us all know exactly what we are saying that makes you think we are not accomplishing the "purpose of this blog". If it's just me, then tell me specifically what I'm saying that seems to be not relevant or effective.

Now this can't be directed at just DnA because this has been rehashed by many on this blog. What I am about to say, I say in all sincerity and truthfulness. You have got the wrong idea about the purpose of why we blog if you believe that we are retaliating in the same fashion as the ntcc "to get back at them". All we are doing is using the same standards that they apply towards everyone else, to measure them. Jesus did this all the time. Jesus spoke in parables and blasted the Pharisees for being hypocritical.
This is a place where many people vent and share their experiences that they endured while in the ntcc. It's not a pretty picture and there are many witnesses that verify and confirm the attitudes and actions of the ntcc leadership. I have heard so much that I have a hard time finding anything good to say about the ntcc leadership. I think that most of the folks that comment on this blog do so freely and if they say something specific about an individual that may seem personal, I think back on how they treated us. It was a lot worse because they had power over us and we do not have power over them right now. What we say can be spun anyway they wish and we are no doubt called devils and worse by them. Their comments and attitudes toward us shaped our lives and we suffered for many years because of it. What we do on this blog is a drop in the bucket compared to what has been done to us. You minimize our purpose and criticize our motives, but we were in a cult that stole many years of our lives away that we will never get back. Some very bad people used us for their own financial gain and we survived to tell our side of the story. Many were abused and tormented for years, having nothing to show for the time they spent loving and serving the very ones that abused them.
When you minimize the deeds of this corrupt organization and justify their actions by rebuking those that speak against them without being specific or giving any solutions of your own on how to be more "effective and relevant", you become an enabler and you justify the actions of the ntcc.

That's a stretch. I think the anonymous poster that I'm referring to probably could start a blog of their own. I would be interested in seeing what they have to say and their approach. Who knows, maybe it would be effective but we'll never know, will we? It's easy to find fault with others that have invested much of their time and effort into a cause, but I have to say that actions speak much louder than words.
If I had 13 years of experience as an NFL Quarterback and decided to start a blog about football, I would state my opinions and say things about others that I believed to be true. If some anonymous poster came along and told me that I was going about it all wrong and that I should not state my opinions because they were ineffective, I probably wouldn't give them the time of day. If Peyton Manning called me up and told me that I was going about it wrong and offered some good solutions and specifics, I would probably listen and receive it a lot better.

ReplyDeleteBut widdle bitty anony never applied those exact same standards to the borg leadership.
Where was widdle bitty's outcry against rodger wilson davis when rdub was calling African Americans n*ggers?
Where was widdle bitty when davis made pregnant women cry because rodger wilson davis yelled at the women from his so called pulpit saying, "Lady, you're going to have to answer to gawd for ruining your husband's ministry!" Growl, slobber, drool, spit and fume. Which, by the way, is a false doctrine in direct contradiction to the teaching in the bible that children are a godly heritage and blessing. And which was very hypocritical of davis who adopted tanya kekel down in the Philippines. Why doesn't anony try to address those false doctrines of davis? Teaching false doctrine makes you a false teacher, a false prophet, a liar against the truth, an opposer of God, satan is the opposer... You do the math.
Where was the outrage, widdle bitty anony afwaid to use a name, against michael c. kekel when he 'preached' against, "evil filthy" children as they throw hissy fits in the grocery store's cookie aisle?
Hmmn?
Not only is widdle bitty anony afwaid to sign a name, widdle bitty anony is using a hypocritical double standard. WIddle bitty thinks he can upbraid the X-ers from the cowardice of anonymity, but can't address the prejudice and hypocritical double standards of the ntcc? That shows widdle bitty is a hypocrite. Probably a widdle bitty named grant kekel that's mad at someone stating their opinions about mommy and daddy kekel. Of course that's just a guess.
But why didn't widdle bitty get mad at michael craig kekel when mUck boasted from the pulpit "no fat chicks" [for him]. Wonder what mikey did with all that boasting when tanya kekel put on the pounds? Did he cheat on her the way his budddy phil kinson cheated on debbie johnson kinson? You see, in the hypocritical ntcc, it really is "different when it's your family"... They get mad when someone talks about them. But they love to talk bad about others from the pulpit.
The ntcc 'leaders' even tell lies from the pulpit. Where is the outcry from the self-righteous hypocrite widdle bitty anony when kekel and davis slander people from the pulpit?
michael craig kekel and rodger wilson davis have been caught telling lies and multiple witnesses have confirmed that fact.
My bible says no lie is of the truth. Therefore kekel and davis are not of the truth.
The bible says to try [test] the spirits, whether they are of God.
kekel and davis lie; that means they are not of God.
No need to fear telling the truth about them.
Don't deceive yourself with the ntcc twisted doctrine about not touching God's anointed. David, before he became king of Israel, had no problem telling everyone what Saul was like. David did not physically harm Saul, because that is what the touch not mine anointed scripture is really all about-do not physically harm God's anointed. But David had lots to say about Saul and much of it is recorded in the Psalms of the bible.
Don't be afraid to state the truth about hypocrites and liars like rodger wilson davis and michael craig kekel. Jesus made a point to call hypocrites hypocrites. No need to worry about following the example of Christ.
Don and Ange
Barnes left ntcc a short time after the bloggers discussed a review about the ntcc left by a woman who visited Barnes' ntcc church.
ReplyDeleteReginald Terry was sent to replace Barnes.
Judging by the poor living conditions that Terry has to keep in order to run the ntcc's church in Jackson, Mississippi, Barnes' congregation followed him away from the ntcc.
It seems to us that these blogs are quite effective indeed.
kekel endorses that opinion by constantly monitoring these blogs and doing damage control and hit pieces on his smog blogs.
Hmmn. There's nothing like the endorsement of someone who declares you his "enemy" (kekel's word he used to describe anyone who leaves ntcc).
Hahaha. ntcc is not about Christianity. It is just a cult set up to make the davis dynasty wealthy.
Christian churches do not monitor what people blog about.
They don't call people their "enemies" just because those people exercise their rights as Americans to worship in a real Christian church "outside of" the ntcc.
Christians love other Christians and don't make their wives cry because her husband got her pregnant.
Think about it folks. Did Jesus go to the temple and declare "no fat chicks"?
Blog on. Paul, the Apostle whose letters fill the New Testament, spent lots of time eXposing the frauds who taught false doctrines. People tried to silence him too. satan still tries to stop the truth. But the Truth can not be stopped. Jesus is the Truth.
Your absolutely right anon. The church locator has been updated and the former pastors from Hinesville and Phonenix not Glendale have been spotted in the NW, the latter speaking loudly about ntcc and mentioning large sums of money at a local bank. I'll name the bank and branch if you want the details, but I really want to know what happened to the pastor in Korea that was replaced.
ReplyDeleteJudging by the poor living conditions that Terry has to keep in order to run the ntcc's church in Jackson, Mississippi, Barnes' congregation followed him away from the ntcc.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty good assumption, but according to recent doctrine preached at Graham, he must not have enough faith, that's all.

ReplyDeleteFor all you fault finders, the web site IS updated. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Chief said...
How in the world does identifying "misleading information" qualify as "fault finding"? Barnes has been gone for the better part of the past year and so has Bellamy. It took that long to update the NTCC's "official website"? I've seen folks preached at by a bunch of blow hard NTCC pastors for a whole lot less. Fault finding my butt. If that is fault finding what do you call all the nitpicking that NTCC pastors have done to their congregations for the last 4 decades? NTCC people are such hypocrites.
What do you call being preached at because you have a cat? What do you call being preached at cause your kids didn't attend the NTCS when the same blow hards grandson is attending a CATHOLIC college? What do you call being preached at for not wearing dresses when the same blow hard pastor has a wife frequenting a public gym in spandex pants? Now that is what I call fault finding. Was Jesus a fault finder when he called out the hypocrite Pharisees just like we call out the hypocrite NTCC leadership?
I've just named a few examples but this blog is full of examples of hypocrisy from NTCC pastors and the upper NTCC leadership. There are probably thousands of examples on this blog alone. Same old blanket NTCC rhetoric. "Fault finders". "Bitter". "Emotional". "Angry". "Name Callers". "Haters". Same old mumbo jumbo rhetoric. Well Jesus was "angry" and "emotional" when he went into the temple, he called the Pharisees "names", he found fault with them, he was bitter at the Nicolaitanes and he "hated" their deeds. I guess Jesus was a fault finder.
Yes we don't like the NTCC cause the NTCC makes ship wreck of the lives of more people than they ever help by far. I don't care if a rapist helps the old lady across the street if all he is going to do is turn right around and rape a women immediately afterwards. His good deed is not remembered and neither is what few good deeds the NTCC has ever done for mankind. The NTCC is like a plague which makes you sick for a while and then leaves permanent damage to your organs.
Get a back bone and go call RWD a fault finder cause he certainly falls in that category. Are the countless ministers like Barnes who've left the NTCC all fault finders? Oh I forgot the biggest NTCC balogna rhetoric statement that I've ever heard. They left the NTCC because "they didn't want God". Really?
Chief
By the way. It could be just coincidence that the NTCC official website has been updated within the last few days but when I posted this article a few days ago it wasn't. Kind of coincidental wouldn't you say? When I looked at it a few days ago it still had Barnes listed at Jackson and I didn't just imagine that. I personally believe they updated it because I posted this article and they wanted to save face. I could be wrong but I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteSame old NTCC song and dance. Hide information from everyone until you can't hide it no more. They knew I knew for sure Barnes is gone because how else would I know about the windshield crack in the low budget Pontiac van/church bus? How would I know it has "church bus" on the license plate? The crooked NTCC leadership can hide info and do damage control with it's members (to a degree) but that junk doesn't work on inquisitive exers like me.
So you sent Oberhauser back to Georgia? That was a brilliant move. Hasn't the NTCC learned their lesson yet? No and they never will. Keep putting unqualified, no leadership skill pastors in all these places and you'll keep getting the same results. Pure confusion. The NTCC doesn't want leaders, they want YES MEN who are blind as a bat and most who are left sure fall in that category. The ones with morals and a back bone left with very few exceptions.
Chief
Also, is Mayers still having church only TWICE a week or is the NTCC "official website" wrong on that one also? Mayers must still be sending Graham money cause I can't see any other reason they'd keep him around especially if he really is only having church TWICE a week and not going to conferences? What a joke. Back in the day Mayers would have preached his entire church into the dirt for only going to church 2 times a week. Makes me sick.
ReplyDeleteThe NTCC is full of the biggest bunch of hypocrites that walk on this earth. I'd rather stand in front of the Lord a straight up sinner than a hypocrite NTCC preacher who made his church members lives miserable just to change his tune as soon as the NTCC lightened up it's standards. This is why this blog is here. You made everyone's lives pure misery and now you changed your tune into a nicer kinder church. Lets play sports and have BBQs and throw frisbee. Lets only have church two days a week and miss conferences and end monthly fellowship meetings.
Man oh man these guys are hypocrites. These are the deeds of the NTCC leadership/Nicolaitanes which things I hate. How is that for fault finding?
Chief
They changed their tune, not because they had a change of heart, but only because they were caught.
ReplyDeletethen, the sheeple blindly follow... as if kekel, davis have the power to decide what is sin and what isn't sin.
"I ain't never seen a hypocrite get saved!" - quote from your leader Rev. Davis.
Anon said "I understand many people are emotionally volatile due to their personal negative experiences. So a little bit of gritty emotion can be an asset in addressing the various topics."
ReplyDeleteI wasn't on a tirade about schmekel when I called him a little weasel. He really is a little weasel with an over inflated ego.
I heard Les Contrares left their ranks because that little weasel named kekel got up and started preaching to the so-called "old-timers" who, according to him, are just sitting around and not doing anything for God. Hmmm, sounds like the pot calling the kettle black, but I digress.
He made the statement in his message that they weren't blessed like him because they didn't have the faith that he has. Puh-leeeze!
Les wised up and got outta there.
I realize that this is the tactic they use to push people into doing the will of Dub-face.
It really bothers me that this little weasel, who has never done anything, but run his big fat mouth, gets away with his verbal assaults against good people.
That's all!

i don't know if this is old news but either way for those of you that always wondered, here's some good info

and here is some of kekels faith in his for-profit company.

"I heard Les Contreras left their ranks because that little weasel named Kekel got up and started preaching to the so-called "old-timers" who, according to him, are just sitting around and not doing anything for God."
ReplyDelete"Les wised up and got outta there."
OK, Now you've got my attention. I heard from someone that a year or 2 ago that his step-daughter and her husband had left, But if he left, then I'm happy for him, as well as his family.
Deception and lies came by RWD and company;
ReplyDeleteGrace and truth came by Jesus Christ;
Jesus will always have the last word.
Kekel isn't worthy to shine Les Contreras' shoes. Les at least tried. Mike is the king of sitting around in Graham living off the fat of the land, and he has the nerve to blast Les for trying to recover from years of bruising front line combat? He's a pussy.
ReplyDeleteI used to live with Les. I also used to live with Mike. I know for a certain fact that Les was a hundred times more dedicated and conscientious than Mike has ever been. Les was so hardcore and legalistic precisely because he took the NTCC and their phony doctrine seriously. Mike is the one who blew it all off as "policy." He has spent years in typical NTCC vampire fashion, sucking the lifeblood of guys like Les just to feather his own nest.
Good for Les; I hope he's able to mellow out now.

Good for me. I'm glad I was able to mellow out. I was pretty legalistic also. For a church member I was pretty bad. I'd also bought of on the NTCCs hocus pocus to a degree. Certain things didn't make good sense and I did question them. I should have questioned more but life goes on.
I'm actually somewhat glad they did put me through as much garbage as they did. That is the reason this blog is here. They had to upset me pretty good to keep this blogging up as long as I have. People need to hear the truth. The NTCC is like a plague that infects an awful lot of people.
Chief
I hear you, Chief. Unlike Mike, we took the "policies" for what they were peddled as--commandments of God straight from his apostle's mouth. We weren't cynical enough to just blow them off as "opinions." So while Mike lived the life of a hypocrite, at least Grant didn't suffer like our offspring. I'm not going to forget that they stole my kids' childhoods, and also stole my parenthood. There are no warm and fuzzy memories of vacations at the beach, or singing around the campfire. No, "vacations" for us consisted of driving across country in a beaten down junker so we could pledge money we didn't have to crooks who didn't need it, while they raked us over the coals for things that weren't wrong. NTCC is a demented circus.
ReplyDeleteAnyway,it's great news that another one has bitten the dust. They can try to reinvent themselves as a mainstream church all they want, but there are hundreds of us out here who know better, and you can bet many of us will be on hand to jerk the blankets off of their deception.
The Pontiac montana Vans are a common place in many churchs since they are used in the "passive Shunning" activities. I would actually label it as Community Mobbing but you might feel their wrath if you do so! I thought more people knew that?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the Shunk's website?
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not going to pretend I haven't said anything critical about Les Contreras in the past. But what was said and/or done is just where it needs to be. In the past. It's hard to separate fact from fiction sometimes as far as what you hear, and who you hear it from. I'm not trying to imply that anyone out here would start any rumor. I hope that what I'm hearing is the truth about his leaving NTCC. I knew Les as a very quiet, and conscientious person, and not the kind of person who would come on a Blogsite such as this one and talk openly about his feelings. I look for him to just quietly move on, which is OK. At any rate I wish him well.
ReplyDeleteI have to comment on something that Vic said. I would call some of the men that go to church at NTCC a certain word used to describe a woman's anatomical part that men use in a slang way, but the problem with that is I would have to apologize to women everywhere for insulting them. Live long and prosper. "Dr" M. Gloer OB/GYN.
Who knows where the Shunks website is? It's no big deal. There are a few left.
ReplyDeleteMark, you have a valid point. If I really associated Mike with that part of a woman's anatomy, I'd never want to go near it again. I should have picked a different orifice as a metaphor.
ReplyDeletesome interesting stuff.
ReplyDeletetracy started a blog back on not new testament site
her daughter has an interesting looking blog. haven't read much yet but it's probably a first from one of the "childs" point of view.
i dont have greg shunks url but if you do, look up the internet wayback machine, put in the url and it may bring up an archive.
For all it's worth I'm interested in exposing the NTCC leadership for the crooks and hypocrites they are. Many other blogs have previously existed to do the same but some are no longer around and I can understand why.
ReplyDeleteIt gets old moderating a blog like this year after year and sometimes people no longer have any interest in being associated with the NTCC in any shape form or fashion. Others simply don't want their name and story posted all over the internet so they take down their blogs or make them so they can't be publicly viewed. I can understand and appreciate that. Those blogs however don't represent this one. I have an agenda here and it's simple. Expose the crooks. A few of us have continued at this mission for a while now and that doesn't make us any better or worse then those who've discontinued the quest. It is what it is.
Having said that, most other blogs don't serve to accomplish the same goal as this one and as a result I'm not trying to promote them. Don and Ange's blog does however. They don't necessary take the exact same approach but they do expose the NTCC and I'm all for it. As a result I have a link on this blog to theirs. I also have links to other sites and I will continue to as long at they don't detract from the mission here. EXPOSE THE NTCC CROOKS.
This blog is not really a philosophical one. It's not about whether or not there is a God or there isn't. It's not really about doctrine even though that does come up from time to time, especially when it deals with the NTCCs false doctrine. It's about EXPOSING THE CROOKS. I don't think I've ever suggested any different.
I did change it's purpose for a while because of Pastor Briggs condition and I may again but the ultimate goal will never change. EXPOSE THE NTCC CROOKS. There you have it.
Chief
More appropriately put "EXPOSE THE NTCC CON ARTISTS". RWD and Kekel are straight up CON ARTISTS and they are pretty good at it. If you don't think they are buddy you are deceived and you've been conned. It ain't about holiness with these guys it's about two things. Accumulation of real estate and money, plain and simple. You mean nothing to them. They don't have real friends. Your friendship is conditional. Stay with their church or you are no longer friends. Period, point blank, plain and simple.
ReplyDeleteBuddy that ain't friendship. True love isn't conditional and it's certainly not conditional based on whether or not you remain in some church. As friends go you probably can't find any worse than Kekel and RWD. If you think you really mean anything to those guys you are a blind idiot. Leave their church and see what happens. See if they ever come to visit you for more than an hour or two. See if they ever take a couple days to spend time with your family. They spend a whole lot more time trying to figure ways to keep the money flow coming in by whatever means necessary. Its a con game and as NTCC members you are being conned.
Chief
Chief, I appreciate you providing this outlet for me to vent my spleen on the self anointed lords over God's heritage. It is a privilege and duty for me to denounce their pernicious ways and recount the numerous examples of their malfeasance, and I commend you for keeping on the firing line. I agree with your assessment of these "leaders." It's strictly a con game, no matter what good things happen in the midst of all that corruption.
ReplyDeleteI expect to continue using this forum for its stated purpose as long as it remains up. Down with the Org! It's a bane on humanity and should perish from the earth.
I have a question, as a ex member I wish to remain anonymous, looking at and reading so many distrubing accusations about RWD and Kekel, if the new membership and getting fresh people to Bible school is so important, why would they insist that their members and Bible school students, ministers etc, have to be so "different" long hair on women, long dresses and skirts, white shirts, wing tips, suspenders, why all the "oddness" that is associated with that if all it is is a a numbers game. Why not be like Joel Osteen or something? Do they not know that new people will look at this and think, No way, this is not for me. Does anyone ever ask themselves that. Come out from amoung them does not equate to weirdness. Does God require that of us, I don't think so. Comments please.....
ReplyDeleteSomething else, I always wondered as the pastor of a church WHY would Kekel want to live off the church grounds if he loved his congregation and Bible school students and ministers so much. I always thought that this spoke to me as quite the opposite. The answer, he really wanted to distance himself from them all. I can think of no other reason for this, he is back in the compound because his Father in law and mother in law are very elderly and need them close by as most elderly people would, Tanya is the only one who can step up to the plate and help, am I wrong, I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteNot a problem Vic. You and I have been doing this for a while now and we're not tired yet. I remember you on factnet when I first realized just how corrupt the NTCC leadership really is. There was a lot of exposing going on during that time. It's funny how things have changed. I think there was a fairly large exodus during that time and a lot of folks wanted to tell their story.
ReplyDeleteThen Factnet changed it's format and it pretty rapidly went down hill from there. Well for all it's worth I don't ever plan to take this blog down unless it somehow adversely has an effect on my employment opportunities. Somehow I don't see that happening. It hasn't impacted me so far; none whatsoever. I don't know who is leaving the NTCC these days and frankly, it doesn't matter to me. Crooked churches are a dime a dozen and if the NTCC goes away, (which I doubt) there will be plenty more to follow. What ever happens, happens. I'm just going to continue to get the word out and I can use all the help I can get and I appreciate your support Vic.

Because that is RWDs thing and he is a control freak. Control means more to RWD than the money. He is a narcissist. Look up the word and the definition will explain it real well. He is an old timer and he likes that stuff. Kekel has done a pretty good job changing and lightening up the standards on much of that. It's slowly but surely changing. When RWD kicks the bucket I'll bet change will become more rapid. I'd bet on it. Like I said, that is all RWDs stuff. If you really look at the scriptures, half of that stuff can't be supported by the Bible.
There is no way the Bible supports women not working. In fact the Bible supports the contrary. The pants thing is a stretch cause pants didn't even exist during the time of the first five books of the Bible. Basically everyone wore some form of a dress like garment. RDUB is a male chauvinist pig and he wants control of women, period and he'll enforce anything he can to keep women in check biblical or not. It's about control with RWD not holiness. If he can control everything a woman wears, whether or not she works, what conversations she can participate in, then he gains complete control of women in everything. Like I said, he is a narcissistic chauvinist and buddy that is one tough combination for the leader of a church. Plainly put women in the NTCC catch hell and RWD likes it that way. With RWD you might as well throw Proverbs Chapter 31 in the trash. Not unless it's Tanya. She has always got a break on most of that stuff. She has worked for a long time, wore tight clothing. There are other wives of NTCC Pastors who wear pants and finger/toe nail polish. Not many mind you but some. They wouldn't do that stuff in front of RWD, I'll tell you that but he turns a blind eye when it's not right in front of his face. Then he nails them in conference.
Trust me, with RWD it's about control and he is willing to sacrifice money for a whole lot of control over the women in his church. Believe me when I say that. I'v been around a lot of leaders in my life and I'm not just dreaming this stuff up. RWD is a control freak to the max and so are a lot of his pastors and Tanya Kekel is probably as bad as any of them. She is spoiled rotten. She is used to having things her way and RWD is not trying to control her. That is his daughter. She may be his real daughter too but she is not Verna's real daughter, that is for sure. You never know with old RDUB cause he has a long history with messing with the ladies. At least that is the word on the streets.
Anyway, RWD is a control freak to the max and women in the NTCC have been catching hell for years.

Tanya and Mike are also heirs to his estate and not only that, they get a big paycheck up at Graham; do you think? If RWD didn't want them to stay there they wouldn't. They'd have to go pioneer a church like everyone else. They're not up in Graham just because they want to be good loyal children. They are in Graham because it's essentially a free ride. In Graham they don't have to build a church, it's already build for them with money flowing in by the bucket load. It's really not that complicated.
If I was in the NTCC and you made me the pastor of the Graham church do you think I'd stay or stay broke trying to pioneer a church somewhere else? Man, Mike probably lives better than any other minister in the NTCC so why in the world would he move one foot from where he is at? Oh, him and Tanya are control freaks also, you better believe that, and they'll follow old RWD whether they like it or not. Mike basically said it himself. His statement is posted right on this blog. Man, RWD is essentially Mikes ATM machine because RWD controls the NTCC and Mike got his wealth from the NTCC. He may have saved and invested but the money he got to save and invest came from him being in the NTCC as a big cheese pastor. Mike ain't spiritual and Tanya is certainly not.
They use people and it's just that simple. That is why they've got all these folks coming over to clean their house and worse than that they've got them conned into believing they'll be blessed because of it. The house cleaners aren't getting blessed, they are getting played.

ReplyDeleteI'm just saying....LT
NTCC was so busy trying to discredit this blog by updating the names on their website, they didn't quite get around to changing the pictures of the old pastors on the website. So whereas you will see Oberhauser's name listed, Keener's picture is still on the "about us" tab. Terry's name is listed for Jackson, MS but Barnes' photo is on the "about us" tab. There they go again thinking people are stupid. The days of giving half answers a "eyewash" actions are over. Nobody with half a brain is fooled by NTCC anymore.

Great observation. Your post was outstanding. I really enjoyed reading it because it was so true. They did the knee jerk to fix their official website just to leave old pictures there. That's funny.
"Oh, we better change the names quick, old Chief has us figured out and he's calling us liars on his blog. Others are saying the same thing". "Oops, we forgot the pictures".
Yeah, that obviously wasn't something that had been planned or thought out. Change the names knee jerk reaction quick all the way. Once again, good observation anonymous and you are right. No one and I repeat NO ONE with HALF A BRAIN is fooled by the NTCC leadership anymore.

I have a observation, I would say that most of the lifers there in Graham, either live on the grounds and their husbands are employed or are living elsewhere but still have a vested interest in NTCC Graham church or seminary or they come from such a dysfunctional family that the other "sisters and brothers" in the Lord are their family and they look at MK and RD as surrogate parents, I can't figure out why they stay in Graham and keep attending knowing this stuff about the Org. This is the only explanation I can think of, I have thought about this for a long time. I feel deeply sorry for them, signed an ex member...
ReplyDeleteChief, I have been looking at this blog for 7 months now, it has greatly opened my eyes to things I had no idea where taking place in this organization. I am curious about you, where you a minister or a member? The reason I ask is you know of so many names and persons within the organization. I am not with the Ntcc any longer but I am curious as to how you know so many individuals current and past and the names of so many in Graham. I have even thought of calling you when you bravely posted your phone number back in the summer just to ask your perspective, I was in the midst of a crisis as it relates to leaving the NTCC. I have since worked through it. This blog helped me gain perspective to make the decision to leave NTCC.
ReplyDeleteI was awakened by the door bell ringing yesterday. Saw 2 people standing at the door. I didn't open it cause I didn't want to scare anybody. A pamphlet was slipped through the door. Keener's daughter and her spouse are now pastoring in Ky. I wonder where the P. Cowan's are. They seemed to finally have something and then they'd send them out again. Here they go selling all their worldly goods. Aren't you people tired of not having anything? Yet, the leadership wives continue to fill their homes with things bought from the money you give? They're not going to furnish your Apt. when you get pulled back in for not producing. Come on folks wake up and smell the coffee!

Wow!!! What a game. I'm so glad that I wasn't riding a church pew in the ntcc during this game. This was an exciting game and had all the Elements of excitement that you would want to see in the NFL. For a few minutes I felt like crawling out of my skin because I've seen Rothlesburger win games in desperate fashion but this game seemed very winable for the Steelers.
ReplyDeleteDuring the post game interview Tebow said he was getting ready to go hang out with one of his biggest fans that was a young girl that had been through 73 surgeries. He flies kids with serious disabilities out to the games with their families and then spends time with them, encouraging them.
I've never seen anyone in the ntcc care for the less fortunate like this. Usually people are discouraged from doing anything for the community. The only people that matter in the ntcc are the Davis and Kekel families, and that's where all the money goes.
Congrats to the Giants who I am also pulling for and actually think they have a great chance to go to the Superbowl. Next week should be interesting.

That was a great game Don. Of course the playoffs just started but it was the best game so far in the playoffs by far. One of the best I've seen in a while. I never imagined they'd get a touchdown on the first play in overtime. If the Broncos wouldn't have scored on the first play the Steelers would have got the ball back even if the Broncos scored later on. That is the NFL rule. Wow, great game for real.
ReplyDeleteTebow does seem to be a good dude. I'd follow him before I'd follow these hypocrite NTCC preachers. At least Tebow is out to help folks. Good for him. I'd like to see the Broncos get past the Pats but that is going to be a tough one.
We'll see. MDR is a Pats fan so you and him certainly aren't pulling for the same team next week. I'm also glad I wasn't sitting in some NTCC building listening to some NTCC blowhard preach about it being a sin to watch football on TV now that I know the Kekels son played football throughout high school. If it's alright for the NTCC to advertise on TV and play football in high school, it's alright for me to watch football on TV.
Old double standard hypocrites.
Chief
It was a joy for me to watch that game and the one thing that NTCC leaders are professionals at is steeling your joy. Well the Steelers didn't steel Tebow's joy and the NTCC is no longer steeling mine. GOOD NIGHT.
ReplyDeleteCha Chief, Cha Chief, Cha Chief, Chief, Chief. The Chiefster dat, dat, dat dat dat, The Chiefster dat, dat, dat dat dat.
The Chiefster watches the NTL,
He won't listen to a blowhard preacher tell,
That it's a sin to watch the game,
An NTCC message sounds real lame,
I'd rather watch Tim Tebow,
Then listen to a crooked preacher blow,
That everyone else is living in sin,
Well a double standard crook will never win.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!! The Chiefster has spoken, dat dat dat cha Chief has delivered in poetic fashion.
Dat dar football game was betta den havin chuwch in a barn full of sawdust.
That was pretty funny Chief. I enjoyed the game also, and that's my team, so it was a very sweet victory. You hit the nail on the head talkin about the ntcc steeling your joy. They seemed to have a radar that alerted them to joy in a Christians life. No sooner did a Christian begin to experience joy in their lives, then they would find a way to steel it from you.
They would not allow a person to have joy or confidence. If you felt good about yourself or your walk with God, they would start preaching about how proud you were.
Discouraging folks from watching football while the heir apparent was prancing around in Football tights, is un-American. Sneaking into department stores to watch a football game was stupid. They might as well have just bought themselves a TV and a Dish and a DVR to record the games and then watch them after church. Who are they trying to fool? I watched the games from the comfort of my own house. What's the difference? Hypocrites they are.....

I thought it was kind of funny myself and I wrote it. I gave myself a laugh on that one.

I was told about the time when the terry's were leaving the graham church to go to jacksonville.
ReplyDeleteMck made the announcement and started to say that the terry's were leaving that week and that they really were gonna miss them.
Something curious happened when mck asked terry's wife to testify, he addressed her as sister ross!
Quite weird!
Well, Mike and I knew here in St. Louis, when she was Sister Ross. One time RW got up in conference and mocked her because she had a big afro; he called her "Sister Explosion." It was her birthday, too, and it upset her (I think she was crying). We had brought a sister with us from Fairbanks, and she wasn't really 'in.' She was staying with some folks who narked her out to RW when she criticized him for hurting Sister Ross' feelings. RW buttonholed me and said that I needed to "deal with her." So we stuck her on a plane and sent her home.
ReplyDeleteThat's the way we rolled back then when somebody blasphemed our idol.
On a different note. It appears that Bro Terry has a history of trying to get a little too close to the women since he has been a minister. I know, people are going to say, "These people on this blog never quit making accusations against ministers in the ntcc". I guess ministers in the ntcc like Bro Terry should quit making so many errors in judgment. When you are a minister people pay a lot closer attention to your life then if you are not and that is the nature of the beast.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to mess with the women, sooner or later you will probably get found out if you are a minister. People start to talk. It would not be that big of a deal if ntcc ministers would stop coming across like they are so holy when really they are not. When you judge poeple all the time, you often get judged and sometimes it happens on earth. As a minister, it's really best to be happy with what you have.
It is not always easy being a hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteThat's right. The way of the transgressor is hard!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what comment you are talking about?
ReplyDeleteChief, I was asking about the comment by double-D. Where did it go? On my phone each comment has a reply link. It looks like the WordPress format that lines up responses to comments right under the comment in question. Guess on Blogger it only looks like it will do that, but all comments still appear in a straight line. Does that clear things up?
ReplyDeleteIt's all good. Some comments are deleted by the author. If they log into a Google account before they post their comment, they have the ability to delete it if they want. Comments often get deleted by the person who posted it on this blog. I'm not always the one doing the deleting.

Saw this online about RB:
ReplyDelete"The family had health insurance through their church and Briggs is being treated as the VA."
When did that start? And if the church is providing health insurance, why is he being treated at the VA?
I don't think that they do for everybody, maybe the org. considered this a special cirmumstance being that briggs has been with the org a long time and providing health insurance through the org. is the least they can do for the family.
ReplyDeleteI know that the org has insurance for the people they employ, but they have to pay for it not the org.
If he has insurance through the org, they probably provided it to him after the fact to save face. That is the most likely answer. Don't know for sure but I'd bet I'm right.
ReplyDeleteThat "quote" was not correct. I do not have insurance, if I did I would never use the VA for something like this. Second, no insurance company will pick somone up After a diagnosis like this until they have been cancer free for five years. don't know where that quote came from but if it is a word for word it is not correct. sorry.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Robert. I didn't think so, but I was hoping that was one change that had been instituted. They should start thinking about it, at least.

ReplyDeleteHave a heart. Don't use the man's condition for anti ntcc rhetoric. It's just weird.
ns
I have a heart for Robert. I think he's a real Christian.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a heart for NTCC or its leadership. They deserve any criticism I send their way, and more.
Health insurance, what health insurance, the leadership feels you should get your own. Employ people, but do not offer them life insurance, and then don't even pay them a living wage. Expect them to be in every service, go to all the bible studies, go to conference twice a year, and of course, YOUR WIFE CANNOT WORK, come on. If you are not ex military you really are up the creek in this organization. The NTCC will not help you, not one little bit. Reverand Kekel once said during a service, and I quote him, "Don't come to me with your problems." Is this how a preacher should feel about his congregation. Where's your compassion, oh, I forgot, you really don't care about your congregation. That to me is obvious. Actions, speak louder than words. The NTCC hierarchy do not care about any of us... Wake up people.
ReplyDeleteWell said.
ReplyDeleteIf you buy health insurance you are throwing your money away, according to R.W. Davis, any money that you are not throwing his way, is being thrown away.
ReplyDeleteJust curious, how much is everyone here paying for employer supported health insurance? We pay 580 a month for family health insurance with a 1500 deductible an a HSA.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds reasonable, but I'm not sure what state you live in or how many in your family. HSA's are a pretty smart way to go if you don't have lots of medical problems. Instead of spending your money on insurance you are saving a portion of it in a tax free account. We recently used our HSA account to get some dental work done. This is money that comes out before taxes. If you use it for medical or dental related expenses it will never be taxed and you can also cash it in when you reach retirement with no penalties. There is a website in each state that gives you direct access to Medical insurance coverage that cuts out the local insurance agencies and allows you to get health insurance at low rates that are comparable to group rates.
ReplyDeleteOf course this is something that you will not learn in the ntcc. They want you to designate your money to offerings and tithe and believe that you are laying up your treasures in heaven. You can trust God for healing and choose not to take your wife and kids to the doctor or hospital, but I would recommend insurance, especially if you work on the ntcc building crew without safety equipment. There are numerous instances of people falling off roofs, and having to go to the emergency room for medical attention. I doubt if RWD is going to be there to pray for you if you fall and hurt yourself.
Does anyone know how to get ahold of Rev and Sis Cowan? The ones who used to preach in Colorado Springs back in '98?

Give Rev. Kekel a call. He and Chris go way back.
That's Christopher Cowan (wife Gen) who's close to Rev. Kekel. Are you looking for them or Christine and Pat Cowan?
