It has been almost two years since my wife and I decided to leave the NTCC and life has been great. All the stories told by NTCC pastors about how we would be cursed if we left the NTCC have proven to be false, or more appropriately put, lies. We have greater financial stability, more family time, and no perpetual guilt trips to deal with just because I've decided to be responsible, work on a job, and provide for my family the way the bible teaches us. Of course the NTCC leadership doesn't want you to work if your work interferes with their vast array of church functions. Mayers used to rip and blast a brother because he had to work on Saturday. Mayers and many other NTCC ministers didn't and don't care if a brother and his family didn't pay their bills, went completely broke and without food as long as they attended soul winning and every other church function offered.
These NTCC crooks have proved by their very actions that they don't care about you or your family. All they care about is having one more warm body to fill their pews so their report can look just a little better. Why else would they tell you not to work when your boss has directed you to, and not only that you need to work because you are about broke. What kind of sorry advise is that to get from your pastor?
Well I'm thankful that God gave me enough sense to see through their trickery so I could "effectively" do what I should have been doing all along; making sure my family is taken care of. I gave up some really good job opportunities when I was in Atlanta just because of my blind loyalty to the NTCC. When I was in Atlanta I did everything in my power no to work on Tues, Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun past 5pm. That very fact reduced my income potential significantly and all for what? So more of the money that I did make could wind up in the Kekel estate? So that the people that I brought out to church could get ran off by a bully preacher?
It was a total waste of time to bring someone to church in Atlanta or Columbus. Mayers was an ineffective bully and Oberhauser was just an ineffective want to be bully. Hunt was a pretty good guy but he was totally blinded the NTCCs yes men mentality which he clearly possessed. Hunt would do good to leave the NTCC and start his very own church if he wants to remain a pastor because he ain't doing squat for God in the NTCC.
Yes I have much to be thankful for and I thank God that I am out of that crooked organization called the NTCC.
Jeff
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteWe left ntcc about the same time as you, and we are also so thankful we did. Life has been great and we are prospering. Ntcc predicts God's judgement on those who leave, because they are a cult, and fear is the only way cults can control their members who want to leave. Predicting doom and gloom on someone is straight out of the cult playbook.
As for abusive pastors-- the very fact that they put their church schedule before your family's welfare is proof that they don't love or care about you. Their priority is money and numbers, not caring about people. Their report is more important than the people counted in the report. They're just a bunch of bullies and theives who have no business being ministers.

Thanksgiving tastes a little different when you are not under the gun of a schedule!
ReplyDeleteLife after escaping ntcc is Soo sweet and Free! I am Free when and what days I want to attend Church. I concur with it is sweeter not having to rush out meal and desert. Then have our guest hurry up and leave. So they can go stick curlers in there head for the ladies. Get ready to go plant your tush in a pew. For what! So we know who was in control of our live's. All the while your wishing you could just celebrate the holiday with some rest and relaxation with friends and family!
ReplyDeleteFunny things I am thankful for. I took a corny picture of my grocery bill today. It was a long one!LOL All at one store. No hopping around to five to six different groceries stores. To save ten cents here or fifty cents there! Thankful to choose my own cloths and still stay modest. Thankful I do not have long dead ugle hair anymore! And I am not going against Gods word either! Thankful to attend my DD Choir concert and not feel guilty that I might miss a BORING ntcc Church service! Thankful just to hang out at home and let my kids play in the game room or out back. No rushing off to a Prayer meeting, church service,ect...
It all boils down,I am thankful to be a Free Moral Agent. And It is between me and God what my choices are in life!!

That is absolutely right!!! They use fear to persuade their members and that is Cult tactics 101. What's interesting is that I just picked my work schedule today and you wouldn't believe what days I'm off. Thur, Sat and Sun. While I was with the NTCC, it was almost impossible to find a job with those days off. Maybe it was God looking out for me during that time. Now I'm out of the NTCC and I just step into a job with those days off. Go figure. I know one place I won't be spending my days off... The local NTCC church. I would rather be in the middle of the desert than listen to those blow hard's preach about how God is going to curse lody dody and everybody who decides to leave the NTCC or how God is going to financially destroy the couple who's wife decides to get a job.
Tanya Kekel works and are the Kekels financially destroyed? She teaches at the NTCC school of rules. So tell me what would be wrong with my wife being a real teacher at a real school and getting paid for her services rendered? Last time I checked, if she was bringing in money from working on a real job, that would help prevent us from being financially destroyed.
You work, you get paid; your sit around and get fat, you go broke. That seems like a pretty simple equation but the NTCC control mongers don't see it that way. They want control over women so bad that they would rather have you broke than your wife have a job, (unless your name is Tanya Kekel or some of the other pastor's wives who the NTCC leadership has given secretive approval to work on a job). Oh you didn't know about that? I didn't know about that either until an NTCC pastor told me that his wife used to work while he was a active pastor and the NTCC leadership had approved it. Imagine that!!!!
Jeff
That is what makes me mad the most, the privileges, of those that were "in" the good graces of the rulers of ntcc.
ReplyDeleteI could tell you the times that I was yelled at, preached at, alluded at, pointed finger at, ratted and dissed at, etc, etc by many in ntcc. I would just think to myself: "bring it on, baby"
Just to think that many children since the beginning of ntcc could not afford to go to a good school, forget about private, many had to be home-schooled, because the parents had to go here and there and everywhere, and the children just tagged along and they were the one who suffered. Many of the now grown-ups pk's only have an equivalent diploma. Just ask around. Many have done good for themselves but 'out" of ntcc.
Oh but now we know that all that was just a charade, trying to be spiritual, for what? For nothing, all your sacrifices were for naught. What do you have?
A nice pat on the back, a cold clammy hand shake, and a fake smile with lips closed.

Many that have Homeschooled while in ntcc. Do so because they are afraid of the public schools. Homosexuals are running the schools(ntcc quote),your kids will have agenda's pushed on them. Daughters will want to become feminist's by going to a public schooo. The boys will become feminiate by going to public schools.
ReplyDeleteNtcc loves to keep the folks in Fear of the world. Do not hang around so called sinners. or you will go down the slippery path of sin. And become a rot gut sinner. Just by having a friend that has different value's or opinions on any given matter.
Well, folks that are still living under that fear. I know have friends of all kinds of different relgions. Friends that do not attend Church at all, gasp I do even have HS friends that are gays/lesbians. Does that mean I am going to follow in there path,or become a rot gut sinner. it has not changed my value's ONE BIT! I am still more conservative Christian. Just not as bossy and verbally opinionated about it.
Stop living in Fear. The world is not a place to fear. Your neighors are not just people to invite to Church and that is it. They are people to be friends with, hang out with them at a local coffee shop, have over to your home. Be a REAL Christian. Not just a fake, live behind a plastic bubble Christian!

I think that homeschooling is great. But, if it's going to be done, It should be done for the right reason. My wife's son and his wife homeschool their 4 children up in Washington. I had the privledge of watching it over a period of 2 weeks while we were up there visiting and I think it is 100 times better than anything that the public school could ever offer. My wife's daughter in law has a degree and could be out in the world making really good money right now but she has chosen to homeschool and I have nothing but the greatest of respect for both of them.
ReplyDeleteWell my Kids are in pubic schools in rural Georgia. My little boy is in 1st Grade and my daughter is a Junior in High School. Both schools are great. We live out in the country and I have seen a difference between city public schools and rural public schools. I know that home schooling can be great and I know that private schooling can also be great. Public schooling can also be great as long as the public school itself is a good school in a "good area". I've been totally impressed with the public schools in the county that we live in.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, certain people in the NTCC have been handed a silver spoon and extreme special privileges and as a result their children have been afforded "more" opportunities than the vast majority of other NTCC children by far. What makes it so sickening is that the parents of this vast majority have essentially provided for silver spoon kids like GK while simultaneously telling their own families that they have to go without. It's like the story of Robin Hood and I've chronicled this fact many times before. The rich are essentially deceitfully taking from the poor having created a system by design that keeps the poor, poor.
RWD is just like the Sheriff of Nottingham. Kekel is like Sir Guy of Gisborne, and Olson is just like the old crooked Monk who spotted Robin in the Nottingham church. Those three specialize in keeping the poor, poor while bleeding the poor of every extra dime they can cough up. That's the point I'm making where schooling is concerned. My kids are getting great schooling in public schools but that still doesn't mean that I want the money that I give to the church to go towards GKs $20,000 a year high school education or a multi thousand dollar guitar collection belonging to Mike Kekel. Those luxuries are excessive when you consider there being so many broke NTCC folks running around who've struggled just paying their bills because of all NTCCs do and don't mandates.
The Sheriff of Nottingham no longer gets jack from me. If I'm going to give my money away I would rather give it to folks who need it. What RWD and Kekel are doing doesn't line up with any monetary distribution stories we find written in the book of ACTS. Show me one. They all helped each other and it definitely wasn't one family getting rich off of everybody else like we see with the Davis/Kekel family. I challenge anyone to show me of a similar occurrence in the book of ACTS. I can show you the opposite.
Jeff
Jeff, since leaving NTCC, I was in financial debt.
ReplyDeleteI will be debt free (car included!!) in 10 months, NO THANKS to NTCC!!!!
Then, I am going to do what RWD advocates: PAY ME FIRST!!!!!
Friends that do not attend Church at all, gasp I do even have HS friends that are gays/lesbians.
ReplyDeleteBe CAREFUL Hanging out with Folks of different persuasions!
Remember LOT's Wife!!!
I am thankful for Jeff and this Blog!!!
ReplyDelete"Be CAREFUL Hanging out with Folks of different persuasions!

I'd rather remember Jesus, who ate with publicans and siners without paranoia of "contamination." Your attitude comes straight from the Pharisees' repertoire. Sounds like you're still trapped in NTCC, at least in your mind.
Hanging out with all kinds of folks is going to lead you to a life of sin, ntcc jargon.
ReplyDeleteAs they try to say if you were earings,or any make-up will make you want to become a hooker or a Jezzebel! AS IF!
I can now TESTIFY,I have worn modest make-up. I do have my ears pierced and wear small earings. My choice. Guess what,I have no desire to go down on the corner and Hook!
Just like the garbage rw would spew,if I played a cards game. I would start to gamble. Then more gambling and live a life of poverty. Rw davis can keep just about all his ministers in a life of poverty all on his own. I am almost led to believe he likes a few well of ministers. So he can say they are blessed for there work. And make sure they rest are degraded and feel like failure's!!

ReplyDeleteVic, I have to disagree with you on this one. Jesus ate with sinners, but he did not "Hang" with them. He seperated himself from them.
Hang around a pig long enough, and you become one. Hang around filth long enough, and it will rub off on you. Sin rubs off. Righteousness doesn't.
I am telling you this OUTSIDE of NTCC. But what is right is still right, and what is wrong is still wrong. Homesexuals and Normal minded folks do NOT mix. It is like oil and water.
Everybody ultimately answers to somebody. I am not going to be hanging out with homosexuals anytime soon. They have nothing to offer but their filth and perversion, which I will have none of, thanks very much.
I also ensure that I steer my kids away from an environment that condones that lifestyle.
I am not saying that homosexuals cannot get saved. Some do, but most do not as they CHOOSE their lifestyle, Men are NOT born into thinking other guys are hot, my son already notices girls, and let me tell you, that is a good thing! At least I know he is normal.
I once told a preacher that I could not stop lusting after women. He told me, "Praise the Lord Brother! Your normal!!"
All I was stating is that to be careful. I will never have homosexual friends, have no need.
ANON!!!
Wow, this has gotten pretty interesting. I know one thing for sure. I would love to hang out with Vic because he is a good guy and I can relate with him. The guy is real which is certainly not the case with the majority of NTCC guys that I've known. They are for the most part fake because all they do and say has the NTCC twist applied.
ReplyDeleteI'm anything but fan of homosexuals but they are not the only folks that NTCC people don't hang around. NTCC folks don't hang around anyone who is not in the NTCC. NTCC folks more often than not think they have a corner on Christianity but they actually don't know the first thing about Christianity. They are far too judgmental, condescending, and down right nasty to understand the first thing about Jesus or Christianity. Worst of all they lack common decency and compassion and they really don't care about folks at all.
NTCC people clearly have the "be ye warmed and filled" mentality and I've seen it consistently throughout the years. NTCC folks generally won't lift a finger to help their fellow man. It's a sad state of affairs when you have to call Kekel or Olson to ask them permission to give your brother or sister a ride after they've become stranded on the side of the road. Some one testified of that occurrence right here on this blog.
The NTCC is one sick organization that is so full of bureaucratic rules that it is disgusting. I had a pastor who insisted that he direct who my wife and I allowed to babysit our child. The guy was an obsessive control FREAK to put it lightly.
Once again, I'm certainly no fan of homosexuals, but the way the NTCC treats folks is far worse than hanging out with a homo. Hanging out with a homo would probably be a better choice than hanging out with some self righteous, pharisee, judgmental, inconsiderate, NTCC control monger. Quite a few of these NTCC guys are more mentality twisted than a pervert, and I'm not joking or being sarcastic one single bit.
Jeff
Vic, I have to disagree with you on this one. Jesus ate with sinners, but he did not "Hang" with them. He seperated himself from them.
ReplyDelete--------------------------
ANON,you do now know the entire life of Jesus. You do not know his daily coming and goings. If he had dinner with a Homosexual.
Since reconnecting with old HS friends. I have since learned these folks who are my friends claim to be gay. I AM SO SICK of judging others. Feeling like I should condemn other's decision. God is the only one that has that right! If someone is a catholic, ntcc called them a cult. Or a Mormong, again ntcc called a cult. If someone is a Jew,Homosexual, athiest.
So what! It has nothing to do with me and my choice's. No I do not agree. If you are around these friends from time to time. That I am going to become a Homosexual. Give me a break. Just like I am not going to gamble by playing a game of Gin Rummy! Go ahead and be paranoid ANON. Make sure your Kid is"normal". Don't let your kids be around Homosxuals. They are around lots of them, that never come out and say what there sexual preference is. Not like we are the Jews in WWII. And wear a badge saying I am a homo,I am not!! What a joke!
I do not agree that homosexuality is something they are born with. It is there choice. As it was my choice I joined a cult, then left a cult.
CM.

ReplyDeleteThis guy is SOOO paranoid!!!
Still carrying the brainwashing teachings from ntcc!
sin does not rub off. If it is in your OWN heart. It was put there by YOU. And not just because a buddy of yours decisions in how he lives his life.
ReplyDeleteHeard it said,I am friends with so and so. Do not approve of there life choices. But we are STILL friends.
I rather hang around a homosexual or adulterer than someone who uses the Word of God to rob the saints.
ReplyDelete...hang around a saint robber long enough...

In regards to Homos...I hate the sin but love the sinner. Still does not make THAT lifestyle right.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is what Jesus did. He hated the sin but loved the sinners. He did not spend all of his time with them.
Lot's wife loved the sinners AND their sin - BIG difference!!
ANON!!!!!
Since leaving ntcc I have been to Churches, where the word of God is PLAINLY preached. NO WAY is ntcc teaching on POINT. It was all used to there benefit.
ReplyDeleteTo stay away from the world is why you think others life choices will rub off on your.
I have been out three years. Guess what,my faith is stronger and my RELATIONSHIP with God is REAL! Like the folks I have made friends with. THEY Are real. I do not live in a bubble and try to avoid "certain" people. Get out and enjoy life. No one is going to bite you.
I am sorry, but I do see you still Stuck in ntcc brainwashed teachings. Think on your own. Go to ntccXposed.com. read!
I have prayed that God wipe my head completely clean of ANY NTCC TEACHINGS. I would rather have God teach me. Instead of those FALSE TEACHERS. You thinking this teachings means what you think and what ntcc thinks. I disagree!
OK,
ReplyDeleteso we will both have to agree to disagree...
Next topic!!

Nah,this one is quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteHow folks still are caught up thinking. That because they have left ntcc. But they still believe some basic beliefs. That is Ok,because they are not in ntcc. Wrong is still wrong. In or out of ntcc!

Looks like the Kekels are wrong also. They don't know if they are in our out. What do you say about that Anonymous? For that matter all the head honcho leaders that know the life style that the Kekels live and condone it, don't know if they are in or out and that includes RWD. NTCC guys can't possibility live up to RWD's wacko standards and RWD can't either for that matter.
Jeff
Here is a new thread idea Jeff.
ReplyDeleteWho do cult members that are still stuck in ntcc. Think that just because you leave ntcc. that your supposed to crawl away. No talk publicly about ntcc. Do not dare Expose them for what they are. A cult!
I had one lady said. Well your out,why does it matter to you anymore.
It is strange thing. If you left a company that you knew was messed up. Would you not ever say a thing about that company. Just leave and stay silent for the rest of your life.
Many of us like Tracy,Jeff, myself and MANY others. Want to see Ntcc exposed, crumble and disperse! Never to harm another SOUL!! So for those of you in ntcc. that think why don't they just be quiet. Instead of what they think,Smear the good name of ntcc. GAG ME! Unlike the many that left Years ago. That did not have the internet. We do not have to live quietly and Heal on our own. We have EACH OTHER! I am sure for many of us. We are healing from the brainwashing, horrible treatment we went through. Much faster then those that left in the eighties or even the early nineties!

"Vic, I have to disagree with you on this one. Jesus ate with sinners, but he did not "Hang" with them. He seperated himself from them."
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't appear that you know Jesus as well as you think. You're making some assumptions here, and they aren't backed by the bible. Jesus scandalized even his own disciples (not to mention the Pharisees) by the company he kept.
Extreme paranoia about "contamination" is a great way for people to continue thinking they're superior. Where do you draw the line? Why do you think that the sins of a homosexual are worse than the sins committed by your other non-Christian friends (or do you not have any)?
Attitudes like yours are a primary reason people are repelled from the gospel. You can't love a person while simultaneously segregating him from yourself. If your relationship with God is so weak that you're susceptible, then it needs some nourishment.

ReplyDeleteVic this is awesome. rw wanted us all to be weak Christians. We could not handle the world and the worldy influence's. So we needed to stay and associate just with ntcc folks. Not even allowed to make friends with our Church contacts.
I have friends now of lots of different interest,religions,non-relgious,some that just don't attend Church but are believers,ect...
I do not live in a bubble. Afraid of others. As if I touch a Homosexual,or talk to one. I am going to become one. NO WAY will I be attracted to women over MEN!!
We do not become who we are around. Unless like Vic says your a very weak person. And you have allowed youself to become weak. that your afraid of anyone that is not JUST LIKE YOU!!
