Do I believe that God personally told her to drive two hours to Atlanta to attend WCCI? Of course I could be wrong but I don't believe it for one second. I don't believe that God spoke a single word to the woman and the point I'm illustrating is that I also don't believe that God has spoken a single word to these NTCC guys either.
This lady insisted that God had told her to do such and such and I've heard New Testament Christian Church ministers insist that God told them a few things as well which were regularly proven to have never come to pass. "God told me we will have 100 people in church this Sunday". Only 83 people show up. Yeah thats not bad, God was only off by 17. And then the crooked preacher blames the failure on his congregation. "You didn't believe God so God didn't perform what he said he would". I no longer believe folks who run around saying that God told them this and that. They are phonies. RWD insisted that everything he did came from God and Kekel said that he prayed and God gave him answers as well. The ironic part is that some of the things that RWD taught for years that supposedly came from God Kekel has changed. Kekel claims that he prayed to God and God gave him approval. So there are three possibilities with this RWD, Kekel fiasco. First: RWD didn't receive his guidance from God in the first place. Second: Kekel didn't receive an answer from God and therefor he wrongfully changed what was given by God to RWD in the first place. Third: God didn't speak to either one of them.
I strongly believe that the THIRD scenario is the accurate one. I am so sick and tired of everyone running around saying that God told them this and God told them that. The way I see it they are a bunch of phonies, and I see RWD and Kekel as being no different. So I guess that God it talking to everyone these days and giving them all verbal one on one guidance. According to the Bible, back in the day, God only spoke to Moses apparently, face to face as one man speaks to another. Now according to all these self proclaimed prophets God is speaking to all of them. Do you really believe it folks? Kekel is a phony and so is RWD and I'm convinced because their deeds have proved it.
They are crooks, plain and simple and Olson is the same way. In a letter written to concerned NTCCers, Olson wrote: "The property was acquired in the name of the organization. Even though the land was purchased with finances from a private party, it was bought in the organization’s name to provide for and protect the organization, in the event that this land would be needed and beneficial for the ongoing growth of God’s work. It should be understood that at the time of purchase it was not known if the land would be needed, but the Organization was being provided with the #1 option if the Lord so directed in time to come."
What kind of garbage was that? God couldn't decide what to do with 39 acres of land so when God couldn't figure it out he decided to have the NTCC give it to the Kekel family as a gift? $373,000 worth of land? Notice that Olson wrote, "if the Lord so directed in time to come." So I'm supposed to believe that God finally with much thought, directed the NTCC to give 39 acres of land which was valued in 2008 at $373,000 to the Kekel family? So I guess God's so called "ongoing" work no longer had need of 39 acres of land. Anyone who buys off on this totally lame explanation written by Olson is one seriously gullible individual. God didn't direct anything. RWD directed it because the Kekel family is RWDs family, plain and simple. I don't believe RWD or Kekel for one second and I definitely don't believe Olson.
You can believe that God spoke to all these folks if you want to but my days of believing that garbage are long over. Do I believe that God has ever spoken to people? Yes. Do I believe that it happens all the time like these NTCC phonies suggest? Not even. Do I believe that God has spoken to Kekel? Please with a big NO. NTCC folks are being took. They are no different than the lady I met today who said that God has spoken to her. I'm sick and tired of all these super spiritual phony bologna religious folks. Has God really ever spoken to you? Be honest. Stop living a lie. No really. You just got all emotional. Yes the Bible shows that God speaks to people but it certainly doesn't happen everyday and not even close.

Jeff,
ReplyDeleteWhat Olson was saying is, A private person bought the land (probably Davis buying it with church money), they didn't want to pay taxes on it, so they put it in the Org's name until "God" could figure out in all his wisdom what to do with said property, even though He knows the future. Then after spending years tax free "God" decided to give it to Davis' daughter and son-in-law. I guess "God" figured the church wasn't going to grow anymore anyway, and the Kekel's needed the money so bad. No sense selling the land and, say, helping those poor preachers and their families in the church. (If you sense sarcasm, you're right).
AXP (another ex-preacher)
Thank you Jeff for bringing this matter once again.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that the officials of this org are using the "for not profit status" to benefit themselves. Why ccouldn't the private party that provided the money just bought the land and pay the taxes like it should instead of going around the bush because they are so stingy that they didn't want to pay taxes! Why so much mistery. What are they hiding.
Anyways Jeff, thanks for putting it so simple for the people to understand.
Just to clear the record its my understanding that taxes were paid on the property. That is not the issue. The issue is the NTCC having legal ownership of the property just to give if to Kekel and Olson's totally lame explanation. He was obviously trying to hide something with his vague bogus answer.
ReplyDeleteJeff
Hello Jeff, Good post! As for myself? I am so SICK and TIRED of people saying "God told me this", and "God told me that" like they have some Esoteric knowledge of God, or some kind of "Special Anointing".
ReplyDeleteSome of these so called "Pastors" would love for you to believe that they go to the top of Mount Sinai every morning and get things straight from the Creator himself so they can come back to the flock and try and "Micro Manage" your life in every small detail.
What a bunch of BS!!! (Baloney Sandwiches, of course)
I also originally thought taxes were the issue but I was corrected by Vic who I have a tremendous amount respect for. I always knew that Olson's response was bogus. Like God couldn't figure out what to do with that much property. And if Olson was being so forthright why did he refer to the purchaser as a quote "private party" and why did Olson never state who the property was given to. A blind man could see that Olson was deliberately being vague while trying to hide something.
ReplyDeleteOlson is one seriously deceptive, deceitful, and crooked dude.
Jeff
Mark, you and I see it the same way.
ReplyDeletePhony Bologna.
Jeff
For all the false teachings in ntcc and all the control tactics and all the fakeness of the people this is the one BIG ISSUE that would drive me outa there as fast as i could go!!!
ReplyDeleteThe land deal is really the ultimate factor in answering the question-"are these guys shepherds or crooks"????
Well people, you have your answer- while you are out ministering to people, trying with all your heart soul and strength to build, from scratch a tiny little church and putting your hard earned money as well as blood, sweat and tears into those people, whom God loves- you see this!!!
The NTCC leadership boldly, shamelessly take your hard earned money that was supposed to be for the benefit of all in the organizations and just simply "gift" it away to the owners daughter and son in law- If that doesnt make your blood boil then you are "drunk on the cool-aid" as they say
But you say: "Rev" Kekel has earned it, he has sacrificed all these years and Gawd is blassin him"
As you grow older and spouse and children suffer through the slavish tactics of ntcc...and your mind is battling with the truth, trying so hard to reject the truth. Remembering that you have changed so much and its all because of NTCC
Remember this:
God respects no man and does not limit himself- he will save people through NTCC because he loves people- but woe unto the false prophets who steal from the sheep and abuse the sheep
but you will say: "Rev" Kekel has been good to me, one day when i was mowing his lawn and my wife was cleaning his house he brought me out a soda and a doughnut"
Think about what your saying, contemplate exactly what is happening here- even the slave owners occasionally treated a slave with decency in hopes of sparking a stronger commitment.
FACE YOUR FEAR! NTCC IS AS CROOKED AS THE DAY IS LONG!
ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AND MOVE ON!
"come out from among them and be ye seperate and set apart"
sincerely,

T wrote ""come out from among them and be ye seperate " Good point and I like how Tracy put it on her original blog:

Hello Everyone.....
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about this for a little while, And I'll be the 1st to admit that I have been as critical as anyone out here about NTCC practices, as well as the hierarchy. But I would like to remind everyone out here to pray for Mike Kekel especially. Things have changed there is what I understand, And it's really hard to tell as to whether God had anything to do with it or not.
RWD = The only thing that will EVER change with him is TIME!
Olson = No real power, And more of a follower that a leader.
Mike is the only one who has any real power to illicit any kind of REAL, lasting change there. It's just my opinion (And mine ONLY) that RWD probably doesn't have but just a a few more years to go realistically, And whenever he does goes, We may just witness a Paradigm shift in attitude, policy, and things of the like.
Perhaps I'm "Shooting for the Stars" but who knows? He has eyes, and ears. He can see what is going on with things. My hope is that he is just sitting back, biding his time, waiting for things to happen (aka the death of R'Dub)
It seems to me, at least on "Paper" Mike Kekel is in charge, But the real "Heart and Soul" of the organization is STILL Rodger Wilson Davis. He just doesn't want to be bothered with many of the more menial tasks (like talking to reporters) and other things that he doesn't have the patience for. But (my opinion only) RWD is STILL IN CHARGE. But even he knows that he can't hold on forever. But when he does go to meet his maker, Then I think (or would like to believe, at least) that we will be changes on a grand level. Perhaps slow, at first, But change nonetheless.
Just please, remember to PRAY FOR HIM!!
Mark,
ReplyDeleteI would like to point out that Kekel is equally to blame, if not more so.
He accepts the "gifts" the huge salary, the easy jobs and many titles for doing nothing.
he wants money and ease, albeit a lot of people do, but to take advantage of God's sheep is a definite NO-NO
If here were such the leader he would have had the courage to step up to the plate and take a stand...unfortunately, i have talked with him enough to know he has no guts, no b@lls and no masculinity whatsoever...he is merely an oppurtunist taking adavantage of a system that he married into...in my book he is a COWARD of the highest order
Similar to a medeivel prince who happened to be born to the right person and has taken on an effeminate air about him
If he cared about God's sheep at all he would have had the guts to take a stand a long time ago.
there is no getting around this!
T
No doubt about it. You know him better than I do do, Even though I may have known him longer than you have. But still.....
ReplyDeletePray for him! I'm not trying to sound like some self righteous "Holier than Thou" type of person but things can (And will, Hopefully) change. He can be the catalyst for that very change that is needed. Whether we like it or not he will be in charge. Perhaps things will change for the better, Or they may even get worse. No doubt about it, NTCC deserves the type of leaders that they get by virtue of the fact that they are staying there and enduring what they are and taking the abuse that they take. Prayer never hurt anything.
The problem that I have with Kekel is that Kekel is always in denial. He always denies that any change has taken place and he regularly uses the same smear tactics that that I've seen used in the NTCC for decades. Not only that but he also claims that RWD never said all the stuff that we all know he said and taught.
ReplyDeleteKekel knows good and well what was preached all those years but yet denies it. In addition to that he uses the NTCC members to clean his house to include his dirty laundry. That is some of the sorriest leadership that I've ever seen in my entire life which included 20 years of active military service 17 years of which as an NCO. If Kekel would just fess up and admit the truth it would be different but he hasn't. He puts all blame on what he calls "a few renegade pastors who just didn't listen to what was taught".
That is so bogus. And he is supposed to be a brother to these pastors who he slams? He is no better than they are and in fact he is probably much worse because he has so much authority and influence. That is why he constantly has a different woman cleaning his house. Buddy Kekel is the problem. I could live with the NTCC placing all those bogus rules on everyone if EVERYONE to include KEKEL had to follow them but that has never been the case. That is not to say that I agree with all the creepy rules because I don't, but I absolutely HATE a double standard. The rules have never applied to the Kekels because Kekel, being RWDs son in law, simply ignored them and RWD sat idly by and went along with it just to pass the power off to Kekel.
And lets not even speak of all the lives that have been wrecked while Kekel has stood by and watched while placing the blame on the ministers and members who received all the abuse and mistreatment.
The day that Kekel stands up in front of everyone in conference and openly admits that everyone else was held to a different standard than his family, then I will start to see good in him but until that time he's a hypocrite who uses his church members and fellow ministers.
Jeff Collins
kekel? "...he's a hypocrite who uses his church members and fellow ministers."--Jeff
ReplyDeletebingo.
Never liked the guy. Knew I would never follow him if davis turned the borg over to him. Just one of those gut-level, can't put a finger on it the first time you meet him, but you know you don't trust the dude kind of instinct things. Now I know how right I was not to trust him or davis. But I will say this: there was a time when they responded to prayers. I don't see that now. I believe that's why God has raised up the bloggers to expose the truth about the ntcc. It's a nasty business to be constantly reminded of their lies and abuse of others. But there is just such a need to warn others to avoid the cult trap.
Angela
If you asked people that knew him when he first got there to the bible school, many will tell you that he had his eyes on being something more than just a hireling like the rest. I really don't have any feelings of hatred toward this guy all I feel is that he's too deep into ntcc that even if he wanted to exit he couldn't. He would rather die than to make it right and confront the truth that we all have known for a long time.
ReplyDeleteTo all of the people writing negative stuff about NTCC, leave it alone you people left the church for a reason, because you didnt like it there, you didnt like the people and what they were saying, so why do you contine to talk about the people you don't like? i know when i dont like someone or somethng i dont associate myself with them anymore.
ReplyDeletewho cares what they say? you dont have to listen to it aymore. since you left things could of change, so if you want to sit there and talk about all the things the chruch doesn't all you to do why dont you go back sometime and see that things have changed.
i know when i dont like someone or somethng i dont associate myself with them anymore.--anon
ReplyDeleteIf that is true, anon, why are you reading and posting here? Hm????
You sound like grant.
kekel is a liar. Period.
He changed things and lied and said things were never any different. What a bald-faced lie.
A faithful witness will not utter a lies.
To Anon,
ReplyDeleteYour reasoning is flawed, you would like these people to just 'go away' and not stir up trouble as if NTCC is akin to some sort of flavor of ice cream "oh, i don' t like vanilla anymore, im going to get chocolate"
The reason people are so adamant and fierce about NTCC is that they realized it is not just a "church they don't like", but a demonic entity making slaves of God's people while "blessing" the greedy...
Would you also suggest that former followers of Krishna or Jehovah's Witnesses just "go away" and leave them alone???
Another thing: You are saying things have changed...what exactly has changed?
What needed to change?
Why did these things need to change?
Is the change reflective of repentance by the leadership? or simply a means to maintain the status quo?
These are questions you would do well to ask yourself.
I attend a well known church that has it's "haters" and i am not at all afraid to listen and review the charges against my church
some are true (there is no perfect church) some are not true
But if i felt that my church was a mind -control cult you better believe i would be out that door and be warning people to never step in that door!!!
Anon, take a little time and think for yourself, you may find it refreshing

Why don't NTCC pastors just leave their church members alone and simply quit trying to highlight all their shortcomings and so called sins? I'll tell you why. Because they feel it's their duty, thats why.
So guess what? I feel this is my duty to highlight the NTCCs shortcomings and sins. Why didn't Christ just leave the Pharisees and Scribes alone? Because they were religious hypocrites who practiced double standards just like the NTCC leadership. The New Testament Christian Church has wrecked the lives of so many people and consequently folks need to know more about the New Testament Christian Church other then the lopsided scoop they get from the NTCC's brainwashed loyalists. The NTCC leadership says that the New Testament Christian Church is mankind's last greatest hope. I disagree. I think the New Testament Christian Church is an absolute menace to society and specifically a menace to young, vulnerable Military Personnel.
If you knew your neighbor was a rapist wouldn't you warn others to stay away from such an individual? Well I'm convinced that the NTCC's leadership has committed crimes against humanity equally as bad or even worse than rape. Therefore I feel the need to warn people of the NTCCs seriously abusive, manipulative and conniving tactics which have been proven to make shipwreck of peoples lives.

ReplyDeleteAmen. It's sad how blind people in ntcc are. I used to think the same way but stepping out of the ntcc box (coffin) has truly been enlightening.
You leave ntcc and you get closer to God. Instead of worrying about what man thinks, you question what does God want me to do? and, bam, you are serving Him free of the man-made, hypocritical, double-standard, ever-changing lies of the ntcc.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!
