I do not possess personal ownership of New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc. in any way, neither am I in charge of decision making in regard to its policies and doctrines. It is not within the scope of my authority to change them, so there's no need to ask me about them.
If you have an issue with an individual in the church or within its leadership, you should do as the bible says and go to that person and work it out with them as an adult would do.

Mike is right. It is not within his scope of "authority" to change the New Testament Christian Church's rules or doctrine. It is however within his scope of "influence", and in that regard he has done quite well at making changes. When the Kekels don't adhere to certain rules, eventually others cease adhering to the same ones the Kekels have broken. If I were still in the NTCC, (which thank God I'm not) I wouldn't even consider sending my children to the NTCCs school of rules otherwise known as the seminary. My children will get a REAL education just like the Kekels son. Not an indoctrination dished out by a whole bunch of folks who the NTCC doesn't want serving as pastors.
So much for the idea of taking your complaints to someone within the NTCC leadership while hoping to work it out. Historically that will result in no more than a blasting and or a blacklisting. I took a lot of issues to the NTCC leadership and nothing of any substance was done. It would be good to work things out as adults but that is not possible when the person you have issues with is an insecure narcissistic bully pulpit pastor. People like that probably make up about 80% or more of the NTCCs pastor population and you are better off trying to reason with a caged bull.
I will say this for Pastor Kekel. He will hear you through and he will at least listen to what you have to say. Whether or not he is simply pacifying you is another question altogether, but he will listen. In that regard Pastor Kekel is not insecure at all. For that I sincerely tip my hat off to him. He will listen but the problem is, even if he wanted to do something about your issue, (as he has already stated) he doesn't have the authority. So much for being the CEO. I guess the NTCC pays him for holding that title. Of course I wouldn't know that for sure.
Jeff
Not to make an off subject statement, but someone payed for my breakfast at the local Pancake House yesterday morning.
ReplyDeleteThat was totally neat and unexpected. I felt more appreciating from a stranger doing what I do than from the NTCC.
Now THAT is sad!!!

APPRECITATION FROM A STRANGER....
ReplyDeleteSeems like Mike has a real problem with the NTCC rules and policies. It seems he blames others for making the rules so that when he enforces them in other peoples lives he can wash his hands from any double standards that are perceived. It's not Mike's fault that God has changed His mind again and allowed the bible to be interpreted differently in this new and modern age.
ReplyDeleteWith the exception of the last two post's entitled "The Power of Perseverance" and "A Lesson in Humility" which was mostly plagiarized material, the majority of Mike's material is 90% worrying about what kind of damage has been caused in the past. Get on with life, mk. Don't give us so much to write about. You quote your wonderful scripture so often, (Phil. 4:8-9)
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" and then you expend so much time and energy on the "negative".
Most of the members of your cult still have their eyes closed and are unaware of the subtle and compromising changes that have been made in the NTCC. When you try to disassociate your self from the policy making and the current tone of the rest of the NTCC leadership, you draw attention to your own hypocrisy and when you do that, all of the rebellious ones that read our blogs get a glimpse of what's really going on. The more people that wake up and see what's really going on, the more headaches and explaining you will have to do.
It's a vicious cycle.

Hey ALL:
ReplyDeleteCheck out MC Kekels revamped Website! Cool Mug Shot of the Guy and revised Welcome Letter:
(With my Rebuttals)
Welcome to the M C Kekel Commentary and Blog!
There are many possible fields of ministry as defined in the scriptures (I thought all were just Preachers, Minster of Music is NOT a ministry),
and the Lord has graciously allowed me to be involved in many of them (How much did you get paid??).
I'm thankful that the Lord counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry and if there's one thing I've learned in over 30 years, it's that I have a lot to learn! (How humble you try to appear!)
We've all had many (HA! He said MANY, I thought we only give a POSITIVE REPORT to GRAHAM when we send up our weekly reports. YOU, SIR ARE ADMITTING FAILURE) failures (aka the 2004 SPLIT) and successes (what successes??),
but above all, we must learn from them, so I hope to share some things that might in some way be helpful or a blessing to others, plus I get a blessing from the things that others share with me (OK, let me share this with you: Have Grant join the Army and pay for his own way through a secular school.. Do NOT spend any tithe payer money on it!!!).
Though we may discuss the church, this blog is not for the purpose of defending the church (Why not?? YOU say Sir that you are WINNING);
if you have a question about what NTCC believes and teaches, you should contact the church (Once again, passing the buck, you are right, you are NOT in charge).
I do not possess personal ownership of New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc. in any way, neither am I in charge of decision making in regard to its policies and doctrines (So how are you getting paid, you are then Sir UNEMPLOYED!!!).
It is not within the scope of my authority to change them, so there's no need to ask me about them (But you ARE Changing them, this is more mumble jumble from the head leadership. At least Briggs is Man enough to take charge down there in Texas!! By the way, who, Sir, is IN CHARGE UP THERE IN GRAHAM???).
If you have an issue with an individual in the church or within its leadership, you should do as the bible says and go to that person and work it out with them as an adult would do (We have done that already without much success).
If you have a GOOD comment to share, by all means jump in and share it! All negative comments will be addressed as soon as possible; I'll get to it by judgment day. Maybe.
"I WILL GET TO IT BY JUDGMENT DAY. MAYBE??" WHAT KIND OF A HALF DONKEY STATEMENT IS THAT?????
I am SO GLAD I got out of the ceaspool of sin known as the NTCC.

NOTICE:
ReplyDeleteMaybe NTCC cannot pay for Conference anymore in Mexico, Missouri.
Spring Conference will be held at Graham Seminary in April 2011.
Something is Brewing....
Interesting!!
Bro Johnson
99489 is the NTCC count. NTCC Borg Website is almost at 100K,
ReplyDeleteHa Ha! Your still in the lead, Jeff!!
Bro Johnson
On the official NTCC website, they made sure there was a link named "Give" under the "Mission" menu. It even says that eventually it will be set up to receive "online" "PAYMENTS" and "donations. Notice the payments part. That is the part where they've guilt tripped you into taking responsibility for paying your pledge i.e. making "PAYMENTS". At that stage they figure you "OWE" them.
ReplyDeleteI remember when a man named Brother Watts left the NTCC church here in Columbus Georgia. When he talked to the pastor (who was Oberhauser at the time), Oberhauser asked him about the pledge that he'd made and wanted to know how he was going to pay up. That is how the NTCC gets you. They guilt trip you into making what is essentially a promise and then they want to hold you to it.
It's no more then a way to bait you into having to give more money that they don't need anyway because guys like Kekel and RWD who own the corporation are rich to begin with.
The NTCC has taught me one valuable lesson about making pledges. Don't do it. If I want to give I will give what I can and what I want to at that time and no more. I'm not going to let some conniving crook get me set up on some payment schedule that they guilt trip you into keeping. That is why they do it folks. They know you are trying to do right, and they bait you into "pledging" money, so they can hold your feet to the fire even if you decide to leave the NTCC. They figure that if you are leaving anyway, they might as well try and get every last dime out of you that they can get before you are gone for good.
Why else have a pledge system? What is wrong with a one time offering? Because they won't get as much of your money and they know it, so they bind you into making payments and then guilt trip you into keeping your pledge. This is done under the pretense that they don't want you to loose a blessing from the Lord or be on the outs with the Lord because you didn't keep your pledge. It's no more than a tricky guilt trip money making scheme.
RWD has enough money that he could financially take care of every NTCC (so called) world mission for the the next thousand years. But no, he has to bleed you of yet even more money than the NTCC gets already.

All,
ReplyDeleteOnce again I am wondering why Conference is being held in Graham. This only benefits folks on the West Coast. I thought the intent of Conference is to gather in a centrally located area - Missouri regardless of where you are in the States! But Rev Kekel answered the "Why" for me already.
"Both Conferences of 2011 will be exciting- and voluntary of course- but Spring Conference 2011 in Graham, Washington is going to be a spiritual feast!"
AND VOLUNTARY OF COURSE?!?!?!
Why?
Because it's going to be awesome!
(Not a Valid Reason, just an opinion)
Because it will save you money on food and hotel expenses*
(Only Benefits West Coast Attendees)
Because of all the great things going on!
(Not a Valid Reason, just an opinion)
Because it's a chance for your members to visit the church in Graham and experience Conference
(Only Benefits West Coast Attendees)
Because Washington is beautiful!
(Not a Valid Reason, just an opinion)
Lodging arrangements are the responsibility of attendees; information about local hotel accommodations will be available on request; it will also be posted on the myntcc.org website, along with maps and directions, and pertinent information. As for people who wish to stay with someone locally, enquire by email to mckekel@hotmail.com
Did you See That? MORE CONTROL FROM NTCC!!! Go Through ME (KekeL) to get permission to stay with someone locally. Now THATs A Cult!!!
Bro Johnson
Could it be that NTCC is cutting their losses by having Conference in Graham? I believe the overall theme of Conference in Spring 2011 basically is this: PROMOTE NTCC (inside Theme: WE ARE LOSING.
ReplyDeleteDuring War, if someone is getting overrun by the enemy, to prevent further losses, a Retreat Order is given.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT NTCC IS DOING! THEY ARE RETREATING!!!!!
These Folks are desperate. SOMEBODY has to pay for Grant's Education!! It is not going to be Kekel. According to his Website he is an unemployed CEO that does not make changes to script.
Man I wish I had a job like THAT!!!

Don and Ange said,
I don't think they'll retreat. They will march their soldiers right off of a cliff before they admit they are Losing.
What they will do is continue to create new and innovative ways to keep the cash flow coming into Graham without having to sacrifice their lifestyles. Everything they do rotates around the fat cats in Washington getting the Lion's share of offerings so they can continue to live large off of the slavery of their brainwashed, mind-numbed robots.
I hate calling them that; but I will admit that I was once one of them. We that were duped can relate to those that are being had now in the ntcc. Conferences are great at keeping you in the borg. When you have no outside contact with the real world, it's good to see friends and they keep you in delusion until the next conference.
If you follow the RWD professional sales model, it's a numbers game. The more people you invite to church, the more you increase your chances of getting new cult members. The problem is now it's harder to keep secrets with today's high-speed communication and internet technology. The only people that don't realize that the ntcc is a cult are the ones that in the cult. Now that the word is out and the numbers are down, they have to squeeze even more money out of their pre-existing cult members. There is only one way to accomplish this and it's so painfully obvious to everyone that is no longer under their spell. There is one word that the ntcc used to be quite fond of using to label other religions and that is "Compromise".
People are becoming more and more aware of scams and are less apt to become a cult member so now the ntcc has no choice if it wants to maintain the cash flow into Graham but to make their church more like all of the rest of the churches in the world. Compromise is the vehicle in which the ntcc has chosen to keep the money flowing. You would think that red flags would be going up all over but most of the ntcc lifers are too busy to see the compromise until it's too late and they are willing believe a lie than they are to believe that they have wasted their life. What really makes this wrong is that most of what they considered in the past to be compromise, was not even compromise but rather just being a normal human being.
They will never retreat but I believe that they will go down in a blaze of glory before they admit that they are wrong.

Because they are making a push to promote the seminary I mean cemetery. Tours and information packets for potential students? That says it all right there. Because it will save you money with an asterisk next to it? Look at Pastor Kekels website and pay attention to the little asterisk next to "saving money". It's like a little sneaky used car add where they say "reliable cars with a asterisk" and then next to the asterisk, "AS IS NO WARRANTY". Save who money. The people who live there? Here is what the asterisk points you to: "Lodging arrangements are the responsibility of attendees; information about local hotel accommodations will be available on request"
How in the world is that going to save you money? The people who live in Graham will save money.
Boy, Brother Johnson really hit on something with this one. Work shops, tours of the Graham compound and a chance to visit the church in Graham hey? What a complete, brainwashing, mind molding, money making, push to more further indoctrinate the unsuspecting. Because it's going to be awesome?
If I were there, the one thing that would be awesome would be the medicine prescribed to stop me from perpetually throwing up. Boy the light becomes brighter every day. Once I think I've seen it all yet another surprise from the NTCC leadership. This conference is no more than a push to bring more people up to Graham Washington and I'm not just talking about for seminary (I mean cemetery) either. They want people to think that Graham is just the greatest place on earth, so much so that the people will move there because here is the deal.
If the old cemetery don't work out, now these folks live in Graham where they can be controlled and more effectively brainwashed. That is exactly they always bring ministers back to Graham. To try and regain control of their mind. Because the NTCC knows that if they leave Graham or don't come back to Graham, they will likely leave the NTCC altogether. This is no more than a ploy to get people to Graham and to get them to think that the NTCC is such a great organization.
It's also a chance to put more money back into the Graham community.
Since when did conferences become mandatory? Growing up I listened to RW preaching that if you had to chose between your job and conference that you'd better start looking for a new job. Someone I know lost their minister's license because they chose to not lose their job to travel to conference :(
