Forsake Not!!! |
Under what circumstances will a traveling NTCC minister refuse to preach revival services at your church? I know the answers to both questions because I got them straight from the horses mouth, pun intended.
For years NTCC ministers have been hanging on to one piece of scripture to justify their stance on having several services per week. They'll toss out this same scripture to compel you to attend each and every "revival" service being held in your local area. They'll even toss it out to compel you to travel to the NTCC's annual conferences. Which scripture might this be? Drum role please.... "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together". Ding, ding, ding, you got the right answer, you win the prize if you guessed Heb 10:25. Of course it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out because I'll bet I've heard NTCC ministers quote that very scripture at least 2000 times and that my friend is a very conservation estimate. So why, (with so many different scriptures in the bible) do you suppose that NTCC preachers focus so much attention on that one scripture??? That scripture may very well be the most frequently and commonly quoted Bible verse by every minister in the entire NTCC. Why so much emphasis? I know why and I got the answer straight from the horses mouth. All you have to do is open your ears, open your brain, and listen.
These NTCC ministers like to preach so much that they quite often run their mouths and open their hearts more than they probably should. The reason NTCC ministers have been taught to hold so many services has little or nothing to do with Heb 10:25 and R.W. Davis, (the founder of the NTCC) made that very plain during conference and L.D. Jones made that very plain also.
In conference, with me sitting right there carefully listening, R.W. Davis told his pastors not to call Graham to state they were short on money if they weren't holding a full schedule of services each week. Davis also said that the reason Pastors were short on money was because they were afraid to ask the people for more. He said if they would hold the recommended number of services each week, (Thursday, Saturday, 2x on Sunday) and take up a offering each service and teach the people to give in the offerings, they should not be short on money. He DIDN'T say to hold more services to get people saved, he said, hold more services to MAKE MORE MONEY. He even suggested taking up more than one offering per service if necessary and my current pastor at the time took that bait hook line and sinker. He started taking up two offerings per service.
L.D. Jones stated that he left Mayers church in Atlanta early and did not continue with revival because of this reason... The church in Atlanta and more specifically Mayers wouldn't support him monetarily while he was there. I was sitting right there when L.D. Jones made that statement. So revival wasn't about saving souls because if it was, he would have stayed, money or no money. Jones preaching for that church was "CONDITIONAL" on him getting paid, bottom line, plain and simple. Having "so many" services a week isn't for the purpose of maintaining your good old "salvation". It's to raise more money for the church and the desires of the pastor, bottom line, end of story, plain and simple and Davis made that quite plain in conference.
I have a very legitimate question. How many services a week does it take to keep you saved? 2, 3, 4, 5???? And where are you getting your answer from in the bible? Hebrews 10? So I can take Hebrews 10 and convince you to attend as many services as I want you to and because Hebrews 10 doesn't give a specific number you are supposed to blindly follow my guidance? And that is why so many NTCCers are broke and living from one paycheck to the next. What happens every conference. A push to raise pledge money and I could care less what Kekel says about being in the red every conference. You NTCCers are victims of a con game and it's just that simple. Your purpose in the NTCC is to provide NTCC pastors the means not to work on a real job, bottom line.
Stanley Mayers, the pastor in the Atlanta church made this statement in church, during service and I quote, "I'm not working on no stinking Job" end of quote. At the time he felt he was too good to work on a "stinkin" job because that is what he was taught by old RWD but you church members better work on a stinking job so you can support guys like him and his family in the stinkin NTCC. Well guess what, I'm not under any circumstances supporting some STINKIN NTCC pastor. If they need money then they need to go get a real "stinkin" job. Five services a week my "stinkin" butt!!!! If it takes 5 stinkin services a week to keep you saved, then Jesus never saved you in the first place.
Good questions/statements Chief... Keep this up. Eventually some will come on this blog from the NTCC and realize the shell game, con game, felony game they are playing.
ReplyDeleteLeave the NTCC or for this life you have will be one of suffering and slavery.
Not only are is your stinking pastor going to have 5 stinking services per week but he's also going to expect your stinking butt to be in all 5 or those stinking services or yo stinkin butt jus ain't saved. That's why the stinking NTCC is so filthy stinking rich. You work your stinking butt off so your pastor's stinking butt doesn't have to work. That stinks.
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you why so many NTCC ministers are short on money. It's not because they aren't holding enough services. It's because they are bums and they've been taught to believe that if they have a real job, they are a failure. "Go full time, go full time, go full time". I heard that statement enough times from an NTCC pulpit to make me puke.
ReplyDeleteFollow Davis' example hey? Look where that got you, you bunch of crooks. Here are the names of a few who finally decided they were truly going to follow Davis' example. Ashmore, Denis and Barnes. Hey that's what Davis did from the start. Leave the church he was with so he could become of the head of his own house, control the church and have control of all the money coming into the church. Barnes, Denis, Ashmore. They followed Davis' example and they followed the money.
NTCCers far too often blind as a bat. This stuff is so obvious it's comical.

And the church said Amen. Preach Brother. I like that comment. Know the truth and the truth will set you free.
These are true statements made by NTCC ministers. Here is another one. Right before the split, Denis was at Hunts church and he said to Hunt and I also quote, "The reason Mayers is so mad that Collins left his church is because he just lost his biggest tithe payer".
ReplyDeleteThat's a fact because I was sitting right there during fellowship when that statement was made immediately after church service in Columbus Georgia. And guess what Hunt did following Denis' statement. He laughed and giggled and you know why he laughed? Because the truth is often quite comical. He laughed because he and Denis could relate. They believed that was the main reason Mayers was so upset because undoubtedly that would have been one of the main reasons they would have been so upset about a "tithe payer" leaving their church. That's a true story. There are certain things I remember so vividly. I never forgot that.
Most of these NTCC guys are no more than a bunch of forked tongued con artists. And Jones... One service in Columbus he spend a considerable amount of time preaching about how great the republican party is and how misled the Democratic party is. I'm sure the Dems would love to know that a Christian church was using their forum to sway the minds of future voters.
NTCC ministers are a bunch of blow hards. Kinson said that his favorite thing about preaching was that he had the floor to speak and the people in the audience had no choice but to listen. So Jones occasionally uses the pulpit to preach against the Democrats and Kinson preaches for the need to be heard. "I'm saved and I know that I am". Hahahahaha. Get real.
I like the fire, we need more of it. These are career criminals and need to be brought to justice. When I read Lisa's story it was horrifying and it made me so angry.
ReplyDeleteWhom ever posted the second comment is awesome, please keep coming back!
Chief, your blog is on fire!!!
Oh and lets not forget. During those times, Denis was considered one of the greatest preachers ever to step foot behind an NTCC pulpit. How ironic that is because Mayers told me that and so did Hunt. It's ironic because Denis threw Mayers, (who was Denis' great supporter) under the bus. And Hunt went from one day of singing Denis' praises to the next day of calling Denis the Devil along with everyone who followed Denis.
ReplyDeleteAnd you NTCCers trust the judgment of these pastors? Davis said, Denis and Barnes were the greatest and look who both left him. You trust his judgment. Oh, that's right, these people are going to get you to heaven right? These pastors don't know how to judge heads from tails. And because of that I'm not working my stinkin butt off so they don't have to. Hahaha.

Anon, I hear what you are saying but really it's not, because only about 5 people (or less) even take the time to post on it. Back in the FACTNet days, those blogs truly were on fire. Tracy's blog used to be and initially so was this one. FACTNet was a serious forum with a BUNCH of people involved. That's what is needed and I say that because these blogs would be so much better if more people would get involved and post and state their feelings. FYI anon.
I said this on the previous thread. To the Soldiers and Serviceman... Do not put the NTCC before your families and do not put the NTCC before your military career. DON'T LEAVE THE MILITARY TO GO OFF TO GRAHAM. It will be the biggest mistake in your life. Trust me. Put your career and your family first always. Don't confuse the NTCC with God because the NTCC is NOT GOD. You can serve God and be in the military and effectively take care of your family.
ReplyDeleteIf you give the NTCC your money and your family is not effectively taken care of, you are not even saved and the bible says you are worse than an infidel. Don't let these NTCC preachers tell you otherwise.
1 Tim 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
You are way better off making sure you provide for your family than making sure you give your money to the NTCC. If you have to choose between the two your family should come first every time or you are worse than an infidel. Don't let them NTCC crooks guilt trip you into thinking otherwise by quoteing the Old Testament. Many of you won't listen and I know that and unfortunately you'll be certain to seriously regret it one day.
I know, some of you ask, "well what if I don't pay my tithe"? Would you rather be certain to be "worse than an infidel" in Gods eyes or not give the NTCC your money and have enough money to take care of your family?
ReplyDeleteI haven't given the NTCC my money for years and years and I'm way better off than I was while I was in the NTCC and my family is WELL taken care of. I'm not taking care of the Kekel family, I'm taking care of mine.
Later, I have stuff to do.
Speaking of $, Chris Kinson traveled as an evangelist for the borg. He wasn't the typical shallow screamer, and people responded quite well. Supposedly, the offerings go to the evangelist during a revival, but when RW got wind of how much he was getting (in this case it was a genuine display of affection and thankfulness by the people) that he told the pastor to CUT HIM OFF! That's right, only the elitist thugs in Graham are allowed to make any kind of decent living, and they do it by extortion and deception instead of providing any kind of ministerial value.
ReplyDeleteYou see what Vic says? He would know. He was with all those old timers back around the time when the church first got going and he stayed with the NTCC for a long time. This is what goes on in the NTCC. Hey Vic. I hope you've been doing fine as well as your family. It's real good to hear from you man.
ReplyDeleteLater.
Bunch of crooks is what they are.
ReplyDeleteChief
I know there was a time where the blogs were lighting up but this sure does feel like a revival. I just found my way to these things a year ago and it's helped dramatically get over the guilt.
ReplyDeleteTake care...
Oh and this blog averages 21 different people looking at it. Yesterday there were 36 and it was the first time I'd ever seen 10 new people view this site per the counter.
That's something.
There is always the possibility Kekel gets in his car and takes a turn a little too fast. I'd like to see my tithe dollars work for me once.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya and I understand your feelings. As much of a double standard hypocrite as Davis was and Kekel is, I wish no harm to them. I wouldn't mind seeing the IRS catch up to them or the law for all their illegal activities but that about it. They've ruined a lot of lives and that's for sure. I'd love to see the Military make a permanent policy banning all servicemen and woman from attending services with the NTCC but I'm confident that will never happen. There was a time that this blog got between 500 and 800 hits a day. Between 20 and 50 is still good. I'm glad people are looking at it. There is a lot of good information on here. If anyone, who is currently in the NTCC reads a decent portion of this blog with an open mind, there is no way they'd stay in the NTCC for long.
ReplyDeleteWith the NTCC it is personal with me. It's personal because they target young servicemen and women. I hate that about the NTCC. I love military people. I love the military. I spent a long time in the military. Most of my adult life. I feel so bad for young Soldiers who get caught up in that mess. I feel even worse for their families and specifically I feel terrible for their children. That's no way for a child to grow up even with all the newfound quote "compromise".
Yes, we are reading this blog often, thanks for it. I would love to hear from Brian Pelfrey, I have his and Tracy's. Mp3s from their blog... Good man of great mind... Brian out there anywhere? I also have tapes from the 70s of ntcc meetings... Many first sermons of the young preachers... But the messages are really shallow... Empty...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure some of these blogs have helped people move on. Since I just started finding them a year ago I'm glued. I need to regain so much of my mind.
ReplyDeleteMike
It's amazing how most of the Church groups as corrupt as they may be, don't have people wishing that the church leaders would die. In fact many of them don't have bloggers blogging against them and a whole bunch of angry previous members that are trying to warn people to stay away. If you are really upset at the way these people have ruined your life, it might help to focus that anger on exposing them. Blogging is a great way to vent and it also helps others that are in the same shoes that you are. I know that there are a lot of people out there that wish Kekel and others would just die, but that's probably not going to happen unless their number comes up.
ReplyDeleteNone of us have their number, but God does. I don't like what they do to servicemen and I really hate what they do to children. Most of the children brought up in the ntcc have a horrible time functioning and 90% of them leave the organization like Grant. Tieman's Son Married really young, like 15 or 16, left and joined a Jazz band and did a bunch of worldly stuff, (according to ntcc doctrine), he came back and is now pastoring a church. It seemed like he was fast tracked into the ministry, because of who he was.
I have no love for the Tiemans because they were instrumental in forcing me to live without the woman I loved for twenty years. I don't wish that they would drive off a cliff, but I'm not going to sugar coat anything. If you want to know more about the Tiemans (Overseers), we have blogged about them intensely. We have called out Nichelle Tieman for being an adulteress, and for the way she treated me when my mother died, saying that I shouldn't pretend that she went to heaven, when she wouldn't conform to the ntcc holiness doctrine. Nichelle Tieman was also a liar telling Davis that Ange was called to go to bible school when she was only a member for a few short months and wasn't really sure in her heart. The Tiemans are now driving around the States on an all expense paid vacation in their Recreational Vehicle preaching revivals and collecting offerings and supposedly overseeing. These are the kind of people who run the ntcc, and like Chief said, it's personal. There are lots of people out there that want to say we are just bitter and have nothing better to do with our time, but in reality we want people to read about this stuff and know the kind of people that they are following in the ntcc.
How in the world does someone who is a known adulteress get put in an overseers position? Makes no sense and total sense all at the same time. Clearly if you thought you were following a prophet all these years you have been about as wrong as possible.
ReplyDeleteYou still have life, enjoy it.
Hey Chief, life is still fantastic post-NTCC. Any of you still stuck, I recommend jumping out of the frying pan and into some refreshing liberty - the water's fine. The only regret I have about leaving is that I didn't do it years earlier. It's personal for me too, because of what my kids got put through there. It's one thing to prey on consenting adults, but they clamp their sick control on tender children (except for certain notable exceptions) and insure they get a dysfunctional and bleak upbringing. That's why I'm happy to do my part denouncing these charlatans and liars. I lived in the same room with Mike Kekel and Phil Kinson was in the dorm too. I know they boasted to me about groping their future wives while they were young teenagers, and no amount of hollow denials will change that fact. They're not real.
ReplyDeleteMichelle Tieman has no position; wives are just furniture in the NTCC. But it is revealing that her behavior has resulted in no negative consequences. Sending people to the "seminary" is what puts ministers on the map in the borg, and I hear the Tiemans have trapped quite a few souls that way. It really doesn't matter to the "leadership" how one lives as long as he's shoveling fodder into the machine. NTCC's history reveals that many (Mike Marshall and Rick Blumenthal come to mind) who failed to meet the phony standards were kept on for that very reason, until they finally self destructed, and then they were just kicked to the curb and disgraced.
Sometimes I just can't take it that they're allowed to even exist as an org. It pisses me off to the point of losing sleep and trying to figure out ways to better expose them to the masses. I'd love to have photo's of Kekel going to concerts when no one else was allowed. Then displaying them at a Sunday service to everyone that came in. My mind is always churning for the best way to disgrace them. Then when I hear Ashmore left I figure something is working. Who knows though?
ReplyDeleteHey you, yeah you the guy not supposed to be on the sinner net, the guy not allowed to view this site. Could you post something here answering our questions? Too scared you might not be able to justify all the hypocrisy? Double standards? Money Grubbing? Board members leaving? It's a silly org and you know it. You've stolen years of peoples lives, financial security, childhood activities from parents and children all the while your current leader has done any and everything he's wanted to do. ANSWER for your organization you putz!
ReplyDelete#underthethumb
No one is going to come here from the Borg and actually post something of value. I've seen their posts and they revolve around "get over it" "Stop obsessing over it", or "you are of the devil so I don't need to answer to you for anything".
ReplyDeleteI still remember hearing a pastor ask "Are we brainwashed? You better believe it, Jesus needed to come into our lives and wash our brains clean". At the time I felt that was a powerful way to discard the accusers of the Borg. I would bet that phrase went organization wide.
You'd be fighting a lost cause if you tried to get them to answer for anything. The value of these sites more often revolve around people who aren't fully committed or their relatives who inquire from the internet about this church and the experiences they're having.
Either way I don't know if you'll find answers to anything listening to them or the pre planed lines they spew out. Their answers don't lead to debate, they lead to them feeling persecuted and then justified for their believes.
Just continue to post facts for the database against them.
Hey Chief, I got a free gift for you and since I love you like a brother, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to charge you 10% of your income so that you can listen to me 5 times a week, degrade you for your inadequacies and humiliate you for being successful in life. Don't worry, it's for your own good and it's all part of being saved. Make sure that you attend every function so that you are not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is. For we all know that this scripture means to find a preacher that runs his church like a business, and support him so that he can have the money and numbers that he needs so that he doesn't have to work. That's what R-dub said in conference of 93. The Theme was "My Father's Business". The ministry is a business. The Foundation for that business is the Man of Gawd. Now Chief, you are going to have to be a preacher, not a live in companion. Looking like a Hillbilly is not holiness so make sure you don't be dressing like them southern folk, you live around. One of the biggest failures of a Business is Location, Location, Location. The most important thing is that your goal, Chief, should be to become a full time minister because the call of the ministry is a full time call, so you need to rake in all the bucks you can from your brain washed group of mindless suckers. If you can't handle your own money than you can't handle God's. You got that? Your money is God's money, to be sent to the great Apostle Davis (next in line for the throne of Gawd) to become his money, which is still Gawd's money, wink, wink. You got all that?

That's right "BROTHER". Full time. So I know what that means. I need to have a full schedule of services each week so that I can take up enough offerings. That way, I won't have to call Graham because I'm short on money. More services means more money Bro. That's definitely what RWD taught in conference. That's what R.W. Davis taught and that's what I'm going to do if I want to be successful like him. Of course at some point I'm going to have to break away from the church like Davis did so I can start my own. Thanks for the advise Don. I'll be sure to make it happen, wink, wink.
One of the things that helped get over the guilt was this site and D/A's blog. When I saw the two houses right at the top and read about how everything is about money and real estate for ex pastors I started coming out from underneath the constant guilt and lack of peace. I am terribly upset at what happens there but I can move on. I will move on and have peace of mind knowing I made the right decision.
ReplyDeleteMay God bring down that house of misery.

DNA Said:
Not Forsaking, what does that really mean? I'm glad you asked. According to Strong's here's what it means:
1. abandon, desert
2. leave in straits, leave helpless
3. totally abandoned, utterly forsaken
4.to leave behind among, to leave surviving
So, if I miss one service or even 1 week of services, am I abandoning them? Am I deserting them in any way? Am I leaving them helpless?
Definition 3 says that forsaking means totally abandoning and utterly forsaking.
There you have it Chief. Another misinterpreted scripture that becomes a doctrine, that becomes a mandate, that becomes an ultimatum, that places you in hell if you miss one service.
These novices need to get their nose in the book and do some studying for themselves. What a bunch of hoodwinking hucksters.
They actually are not novices. They are masters at brain washing and they know very well what the bible says. I'm sure that the local pastors know this stuff also, they just choose to follow the examples that have been set before them. If Davis says the sky is green than it must be green. So if the board members are twisting scriptures and the pastors are twisting scriptures than it looks like it's up to you church members to figure it out on your own. They are lying to you. You are following liars. Read it for yourselves and confront them about it. Ask them why they condemn people for missing a church service. It certainly isn't in the bible.
ReplyDeleteTrue enough DnA and I like your logic on that scripture. If you take my obvious logic and yours, there is no way you can set forth a mandate requiring attendance to a specific number of services. What if I was in a church that held, 10 services per week? Forsake not, right? Fooey. The con artist in Atlanta decided to hold three services on Sunday for a while and he wanted my wife and I to attend all three. So where do you draw the line? Like I asked in the beginning, 2,3,4 or even 5? There is no way that's justified as a mandate on the verse in Hebrews alone. No way.
ReplyDeleteThe 5 services a week thing (where the NTCC was and is concerned) had and has nothing to do with Hebrews. It has to do with Davis' teaching concerning raking in enough money. That's all it ever was and Davis made that obviously clear. Good points.
Why do you you and Don hate god so much it's not about a church it's about winning people to the Lord, why make fun and spew out hatred and make fun of God? Seems to me you dona dn Angie hate everything about God and the ministry,if you both know how to build a church and an organization then do it!!!!!quit crying about the past and leave God out of your hatred.

82 airborne hooahhhhh!!!!!!
Hey Airborne!
ReplyDeleteI want you to know that you are making the same kind of argument a papist would make. Here is one of the reasons we do not bow to Graham:
We teach the autonomy of the local church, free from any external authority or control, with the right of self-government and freedom from the interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations (Titus 1:5). We teach that it is scriptural for true churches to cooperate with each other for the presentation and propagation of the faith. Each local church, however, through its elders and their interpretation and application of Scripture, should be the sole judge of the measure and method of its cooperation. The elders should determine all other matters of membership, policy, discipline, benevolence, and government as well (Acts 15:19-31; 20:28; 1 Corinthians 5:4-7, 13; 1 Peter 5:1-4).
We also believe that building of the Church is a work of the Holy Spirit and not man.
ReplyDeleteWe teach that the work of the Holy Spirit in this age began at Pentecost when He came from the Father as promised by Christ (John 14:16-17; 15:26) to initiate and complete the building of the Body of Christ, which is His church (1 Corinthians 12:13). The broad scope of His divine activity includes convicting the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and transforming believers into the image of Christ (John 16:7-9; Acts 1:5; 2:4; Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Ephesians 2:22).
A good reason to leave the church is if the church is characterized by a wanton disregard for Scripture, such as a refusal to discipline members who are sinning blatantly (1 Corinthians 5:1-7). Has anyone blogged about any moral shortcomings about NTCC?
ReplyDelete"Has anyone blogged about any moral shortcomings about NTCC?"
ReplyDeleteExtensively. From rape, incest, con games, but the worst maybe the way NTCC faithful worship the men of god. You are not allowed to think, ask questions, you just follow their daily direction mindlessly.
Don't forget obesity. I'm not even talking about being 20 pounds overweight. Try 200-300 pounds over.
ReplyDeletePlus that poof in the ladies hair has to be a sin. Just looks so stupid. If you worked at a museum about our founding fathers you'd fit right in based on the clothes and that Stinking hair. OH I HATE THAT HAIR.
#styleyourstinkinghair
You know, you could start a blog about the hairballs that NTCC women have on the top of their head. I might think about doing just that. Please tell me they're actually styling it now. They've compromised on everything else by the sounds of it. Hey let your hair down and curl it! Braid it. Do something other than that stupid poof.

Hi 82 Airborne. I'm assuming you are in the Army? Would that be a correct assumption? Maybe you were previously in the Army? Well I spent many years in the Army and I respect and love soldiers. I've served as a 1SG and a Platoon Sergeant several times. The point is, I'm a career Soldier and I love soldiers. I try to be logical and rational when I write statements on these blogs.
So what I'd like to do is engage in a "logical discussion with you here on this blog". I ask that others don't enter the discussion just to "jump" on 82 Airborne. Lets try to make it thoughtful. I have a question 82 Airborne. How did you come to the determination that we are quote, "fighting against God" and specifically his quote, "program". Which program is that? Just an honest open question. And I ask again that others please give 82 Airborne a chance to answer and don't answer for him. Thanks.
