The False Prophet

Mike Kekel wrote this statement on his blog...

"I remember a certain prayer meeting at old Forest Ave., where I was down at the altar. We were all praying in the dimly lit chapel and God was moving; Debbie Blumenthal was right on the other side, praying in tongues. We were pouring our hearts out, and I noticed her sincerity most of all. I still believe she had something from God."

Mike wrote quite a bit during his tirade toward Greg Shunk. The particular part above, highlighted in red, really caught my attention. I'm guessing that many people overlooked that small portion of his long statement, but it really stood out to me as a testament to Mike Kekel's character and psyche.

The first thing it tells me is that Mike has quite a high opinion of himself. Overblown to say the least. I wonder why Mike is so naive that he quite obviously seems to believe that he should actually be considered some kind of spiritual critic just because he married the big guy's daughter? The second thing it tells me is that Mike considers himself some kind of spiritual analyst. What qualifies Mike to make determinations concerning whether or not someone had quote, "something from God"? The fact that his father in law has systematically promoted him to head honcho henchman of the NTCC? I'm no spiritual guru and don't claim to be, but I doubt that Mike has quote "something from God". Mike wouldn't be in that position if he hadn't married the corporate head's daughter. So because RWD gave Mike preferential treatment, that qualifies him to be some kind of spiritual analyst? I don't think so and hence the title of this thread. The false prophet. That title fits him more suitably.

According to about 40 years of NTCC standards, Kekel is about as worldly as they get. So what you have is an egotistical, pomps, dude that is fooling himself and he works hard to learn how to attempt to fool others. I'm not fooled. Mike Kekel is no more qualified to evaluate Deb Shunk's former spiritual condition than I am to evaluate the structural rigidity of the golden gate bridge. Mike Kekel may have put in many hours in an attempt to continually control folks lives but we all know that didn't get him to the position he is in. His daddy in law did; plain and simple, and anyone who thinks differently can be the first to test out the strength of the bridge that I'm getting ready to build.

The next issue. Mike wrote...

"He began to obsess about what would happen to his wife if he died, would the church support her. No NTCC answer was given to such a foolish and unlearned question."

Jeff wrote...

What on Gods green earth is so quote "foolish and unlearned" about that question? Mike Kekel is living in the wonderland that has been prepared by his daddy in law so he is unable and unsuitable to even attempt to relate with such a concern. The NTCC is not even interested in taking care of widows so to Mike that would be a foolish question but to Greg who didn't get handed a silver spoon that is a legitimate concern. It's a legitimate concern for me also and I decided that I would no longer put any faith in the NTCC leadership because the only folks they are worried about taking care of is themselves. Even after they've ran you into the ground. It's good to know that Mike thinks it's foolish and unlearned for someone to be concerned about their wives well being.

How is Sis Espinoza doing? I rest my case. She certainly ain't living like the Kekels but I forgot, that was all her husbands fault, right? You know that she had to go find a job and all, getting paid probably around minimum wage? Foolish and unlearned hey? As usual what a bunch of garbage.

  1. I heard about Sister Espinoza after her Husband died. It was certainly tragic. I don't really blame her for staying with the Organization though. I mean, Where else is she going to go at her age? I know as I have gotten older it gets harder and harder to change and that is not necessarily a good thing. After awhile you get old and "Set in your ways", so to speak.

I wish her well. When ever I'm up in Washington (Which will be this year sometime, Lord willing) perhaps I'll stop by and see her.

    Kindest regards to all. Mark

  2. If Kekel is the False Prophet, I guess that makes Davis the AntiChrist?

You can only imagine whom I am thinking would be a good candidate for "the Great Whore"

One person came to my mind immediately but I think I would be exercising good judgment to leave this one alone. I suspect you and I are on the same sheet of music.

A woman drunken with the blood of the saints? Go figure.

There has been much blood sweat and tears shed by some good folks in the NTCC with seemly one main beneficiary. Read between the lines.

  4. Bro Jeff,

    (OFF TOPIC)

Did you ever elect to do the Redux or the High 3 for your retirement package from the Military?

Just need some straight up advice, something you will not get from NTCC.

If I was in NTCC and elected to get the 30,000 before taxes, NTCC will say to tithe 10% (3,000). THAT lucky preacher is going to eat very nicely for the month with his wife!!

Your advice please! By the way I value your experience(s).

    Thanks!

  6. You know Jeff, I was just re-reading this post and my take on it was that all that info that kekel gave about casey was just that info probably given to him by the cespedes.
Things like that always happen when a new pastor comes and takes over the work. The new pastor starts telling the org that the old pastor was this and that and that the church was a mess, etc. etc. but that is what happened here with the casey situation.
Cespedes probably told all these things to the org in order for him to become the "saviour" of puerto rico.

  7. blovd,

that may be true what you wrote about cespedes. But kekel is responsible as a minister not to receive an accusation against Casey without two or three witnesses.

Even if those things were true, they are not necessarily sins.

The whole thing stinks of kekel using anything he can to smear anyone who leaves ntcc.

Face it, kekel looks bad driving his sports cars while missionaries are struggling to put food on the table for their families.

and the embarassing truth about tanya kekel giving Casey a bag of used sheets and towels with a hole in them when they got back from Puerto Rico after sacrificing everything they had to go do missions work. How embarassing. with all the money the kekels have and that's their idea of helping a brother who has given 24 years, plus however long his wive and kids were in and sacrificing? Sick. It just sounds os selfish of kekels, really.

How can you, as tanya did, say you love a brother, and not meet even their smallest needs when you are literaly sitting on a gold mine? You cannot be telling the truth. That's a bible measurement of love. If you see a brother or sister have a need, but you shut your bowels of compassion and don't help; you do not love them. If you don't love the brothers, you don't love God. Bible. Fact.

kekels are frauds. They are at the top. but leaven leavens the whole loaf. It just takes a little yeast to make the whole batch of monkey bread grow and grow and grow. Staying and being a part of that mentality is endorsing it and saying it's okay.

God says it is not okay.

    Who do you serve?
