A Request From Double Ugh

Double Ugh asked...

I do want to bring up a possibility.  If you wouldn't mind starting one more topic that is just open for people to vent or maybe post how good they are doing since they left.  I know we've been much  happier.

Thanks Cheif! Love the topic!

:)

Just to start this off, I would like to say that my husband and I are the happiest we have been in a very long time! We feel normal...not like a robot.

So refreshed! We went bowling for the first time since we've been together and had a blast!!!! I almost forgot how fun that was!

We've seen movies that were MUCH more moving and encouraging and funny than many NTCC services we've been in!

And best of all, we are much more financially stable than we ever were with that bunch!

We were in debt, and it was not for the reason that Kekel mentioned in a blog about buying "toys", but it was because we sacrificed all for the "cause"...

We just paid off the last bit of debt that we accrued from when we were "in" and there is such freedom in that!!!!

Loving life now!

Very good. That's a good news story.

The Kekel's remind me of Pebbles and Bambam. He's a little bambam beating his pulpit and running his big fat mouth. He's a PUNK and nothing more.

Just learned that Washington has the largest percentage of non-church going people in the U.S. which means it also has the lowest percentage of church goers. This means that there are more people that need to be reached and that if you are part of a church that reaches out to the surrounding communities, you should have more potential for reaching the lost than anywhere else.

Things seem to be falling apart at the seams in Graham, WA. I guess when people the surrounding areas come to out to the ntcc, there are not to many reasons for them to want to stay. Who wants to be yelled at every day in church and expected to dress like Little House on the Prairie? Why would anyone want to place their families in that kind of bondage?

Hopefully in this information age, people will want to protect their families by doing a google search before attending a cult service so that they can learn what the ntcc is all about before they take one step into their whited sepulcher. When people look up the ntcc on line they will find that the ntcc is anything but a wholesome, God-fearing church that cares about souls.

Scripture of the day:

Romans 2:1-3

"Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?"

I can say that Don and Ange are right, they may still have faithful attendance in Graham, but ALOT of people, good people, have left. And I am sure it is hard on the Org, how could it not be? I know they miss our tithe check. And Don and Ange is right about another thing, in Graham, the NTCC has a terrible reputation, with good reason. Yes, if you want to attend the NTCC you do look like a woman from little house on the prairie, and who really wants to look like that. I know I don't. And, if you even appear to be part of the NTCC in Graham, you will have no friends outside of the NTCC. People want nothing to do with you, and that is a fact. Oh, I forgot you can't make friends in the NTCC either, it is just set up that way. Such a sad testament to Christianity. NO THANKS.

Well, I never want to pass up an opportunity to broadcast the vast improvement in our lives since we left back in 1995. Nothing but continuous improvement ever since. Chris Kinson's up here visiting now, and we just came back from a trip to Manley Hot Springs. Soaked in the healing waters and caught a pike and 21 grayling. The promised curse of God has never materialized; to the contrary, we've been experiencing increased blessings.

Attention all NTCC captives: don't believe the propaganda; the water's fine--jump in.

It is so great to hear that stuff!!!! It's so true! I used to say, "I have more time than money" but now I say "I have more money than time" and it's so nice to be able to pay for conveniences that I was never able to enjoy while in that org.

Oh, and I'm not forced to take advantage of people anymore either..."u know what I'm saying"...

Olson would know what I'm talking about)

My husband and I have been out now for about 5 years. We recently bought 5 acre's and working toward getting a horse for our daughters. I can say we are much more happy and have much more money. I did work for a while after we left to get the itch out, but currently a stay at home mom. My husband finished his degree once we left and everything is looking up. If you are thinking of leaving its not a bad life on the other side of ntcc. We still go to church, and still serve the Lord.

Good for you Anon. So many times the Pulpiteers would preach gloom and doom to all who left, but it turns out that many are doing much better, living fulfilled lives and still love God.

Why does Senior Pastor Kekel's CEO Blog have a big detailed article about Rev. & Sis. Cyrius' recent automobile accident, but not a peep about Pastor Briggs more recent death?
