More True Stories About The NTCC's Fearless Leader

Original thread posted on 3/27/09

Thread #9 Believe it or not I gave this sensitive issue some thought before I decided to to highlight some recent information that was posted concerning the CEO / leader of the NTCC. Specifically Mr. Mike Kekel who is the NTCC CEO. That title classifies him as someone who "should" be considered a leader. Mr. Kekel has recently decided to attack a few people in writing, and as a result someone decided to pull the proverbial plug on him and post some alarming information.

For starters, I didn't know that the NTCC condoned such behavior as a 24 year old man physically playing with the body of a 15 year old girl. For that matter they shouldn't be condoning 23 or 24 year old men even dating 14 or 15 year old girls. Well these are the kind of things that come to the forefront when you back a cat up against a wall. Most cats come out fighting and that is what you will find, if you read Vic Johanson's statement in one of the earlier threads. Below is a portion of what Vic wrote. Sometimes it's a good idea to be careful who's daughter you attack in writing because they may decide to flip the script on you Mr. Kekel. Vic should know; he was quite close to Mike back then. Early in this thread Vic made a correction concerning the age estimates so I made a correction here as well. According to Vic, Tanya was about 15 years old and Mike was about 24 years old when Mike mentioned to Vic and others that Mike and Tanya had been getting very CLOSE to each other physically, i.e. touching and fondling and such.

Most Fathers would go to the door with a shotgun to meet a 24 year old man if such a 24 year old came a calling on his 15 year old daughter. My daughter is a teen and she needs to be focused on school work, not 24 year old men or any other men for that matter. My daughter needs to learn to take care of herself because a dude won't necessarily always be around as is evidenced by the NTCC's divorce rate. Also, some men die, so where does that put your daughter? Struggling and destitute and Mike wrote that it's not the NTCC's biblical responsibility to take care of her if she has ANY family members still living because in such cases she wouldn't be considered "a widow in deed". The NTCC leadership doesn't care about a girls academic progress because they are only interested in marrying their young daughters off to grown men with the hope that he will always be there to take care of her. This has quite often proven not to be the case throughout the NTCC's history. Typical evidence of a CULT. At the time it didn't seem to bother old RWD that his 14 or 15 year old daughter was dating a 23 or 24 year old man, but a guilty conscience often dictates the decisions of men.

Vic wrote...

"Bro Johnson, maybe you could ask Mike about the premarital grope sessions he had with Tanya in the church office when she was about 15 and he was in his 20s, since he seems to be so concerned about the immoral behavior of others. It happened, and not only did he boastfully admit it to me and his other dorm mates, he also justified it when we expressed our consternation. What a piece of work. Of course, when a concerned brother went to RW over it, nothing happened. I guess the "apostle" could relate to that kind of behavior."

Now you have the rest of the story. Holy, Schmoly. You wonder why I left the NTCC? I got tired of following a bunch of fake, abusive, hypocrites. Just more lies of the devil I suppose? You decide. Let Mike tell it and he will say that the things we write are no more than a bunch of lies. Mike said "they didn't go there" before they were married. Didn't go where? That was a good duck and dodge response if I've ever saw one. A complete idiot could see right through that response. I have no reason to doubt these testimonies for one second after all the garbage that I experienced in the NTCC. I got jumped all over by an NTCC pastor for talking to a GROWN woman on the phone. I should have told that pastor to kiss my forth point of contact. In Airborne terms that would be your rear end. That is supposed to be the forth point of your body that makes contact with the ground during your landing or (PLF), after you jump out of an airplane with a parachute.

So Now TV Commercials Are Authorized As A Means To Advertise For The New Testament Christian Church?

Explain this one Mike? I thought watching the TV would put you in hell? That is what I heard preached in the New Testament Christian Church since 1985 and I'm sure long before I got there. You guys are such hypocrites that it is unbelievable. There goes Briggs again up to his same old tricks and I guess the New Testament Christian leadership thinks it's great.

Click on the first link below to watch the good old NTCC TV commercial. The second link will open Google images that include photos of DJ Brandi Garcia who's show the NTCC is a proud sponsor of. WOW she is hot!!!!!! The third link is a video of the show "The spotlight" with Brandi Garcia. ***This is not a hyper-link so you will need to copy and paste the link to your address bar to watch the video.*** Notice at how short her dress is. Botta Boom!!! If you don't see a problem with this (at least according to previous New Testament Christian Church standards) you are spiritually brain dead. For a secular church no problem; but for the holiest of holies, New Testament Christian Church? In a genuine NTCC Brother or Sister's mind? This should be a real problem.

Whatever. Some folks seem to like following hypocrites. I'm not the one. As for me and my family, we will follow someone else but certainly not the New Testament Christian Church leadership. Oh but there goes old bitter Jeff again with all his hate speeches. You are blind as a bat if you can't see how hypocritical the New Testament Christian Church has become and probably always was. RWD was just good at keeping us in the dark but the light is on now.

Don And Ange Have Started A Blog, The More The Merrier

Don and Ange have started an ntccxer blog. This will be yet another website where you can go and learn the truth about what the New Testament Christian Church is really all about. Ange has been a loyal supporter here and it's my duty to announce the existence of a new blog that she and her husband have created. I posted a link to their blog directly below and you can also click on the title of this thread to take you there.

http://ntccxerblog.blogspot.com/

It's good to have folks like Don and Ange who want to sacrifice a little of there time in order to help save people from wasting years of there life only to hear, "If you don't like it here, there is the door". "Don't let it hit you on the back side on the way out".

New Testament Christian Church pastors gave me, my family and everyone else in the church building too many invitations to leave, and by the grace of God we finally decided to take them up on their offer. You talk about having a burden lifted. Man, our life is so much better outside the NTCC. One of my regrets is that I didn't take them up on their offer years earlier.

False Doctrine The New Testament Christian Church Way: Keepers At Home

I've addressed this topic many times before and I remain amazed that not one person has been able to even remotely, effectively defend the NTCCs interpretation of Tts 2:5 and specifically the portion of that verse of scripture that reads "keepers at home".

Directly in front of me I have a Strong's Concordance of the Bible; specifically the "Abingdon" Strong's Concordance, copyright 1890 by James Strong. I want people to know where I'm quoting my facts from. Anyway; a New Testament Christian Church pastor suggested that I get this Strong's Concordance and that is exactly what I did, so don't expect me not to use it.

The phrase, "keepers at home" originally was not three separate words as we see written in the King James version of the Bible but in the Greek language prior to being translated into the English language it was one word, "oikoupos". The word "oikoupos" literally translated means to be domestically inclined, a good house keeper, one who takes care of household affairs, or a stayer at home. It is not translated into meaning that a woman can't have a job outside the home. If someone wants to take the one definition "STAYER AT HOME" literally and to be absolute meaning that a woman must "stay at home", then that would mean that a woman literally couldn't lawfully leave her home for any reason. That interpretation would be nonsense and absurd and it would be in direct conflict with the lifestyles that current and past NTCC women have lived all along. She couldn't leave for soul winning, she certainly couldn't leave to clean the Kekel's house or to clean the church or to go shopping for church supplies or she couldn't even leave her "HOME" to attend church service. Once again none of the definitions found in the Strong's Concordance for "keepers at home" states that a woman can't have a job outside the home. It simply does not say that, imply that, or suggest that. What it does mean is that "young" women are to be taught to take care of the household affairs, be a good house keeper and be "inclined" to spend time around her home i.e. "domestically inclined" as it is literally translated.

My wife "stays" around our home when she is not shopping or going to appointments or teaching 1st grade at the local school. That is no different than Tanya Kekel because Tanya is not "staying at home" when she is teaching at the NTCS and my wife is not "staying at home" when she is teaching 1st grade. Oh I forgot, all school teachers should be guys, right RWD? Right Kekel? Wrong and that notion would be complete nonsense. I wouldn't want my kids to attend a school where all the teachers were men. Oh I suppose that all female school teachers should either stay single or quit their teaching job as soon as they get married? That would be stupid because it's not Gods rule, it's the NTCCs rule. For every 100 male teachers you'd be lucky to have 1 woman teacher if you follow that stupid rule. What nonsense and the Bible doesn't teach that in Tts 2:5 or anywhere else. My wife doesn't have her students come over to clean our house either like Mike and Tanya. You call that getting a blessing because you clean the Kekel's house? It's sucking up, eating cheese and being used and God knows it!!!!! You ain't being blessed, you're being cursed and being used and being played like a fiddle!!!! God knows and so do I.

Now, we do want our wives to be virtuous women like we see mentioned in Proverbs 31 don't we? Of course we do if we believe the Bible. And correct me if I'm wrong but we don't believe that God contradicts himself do we? Of course not? So if women can't lawfully keep a job outside the home or work for pay outside the home, (or she will go to hell if she does) and that is what God was trying to say in Titus 2:5, then why did God (in Proverbs 31) state that a "virtuous woman" was known for doing things like and I quote Pro 31:24: "She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant"?

Selling fine linen is making money and delivering girdles to the merchant is not only making money but doing it outside the home. This is a Biblical example of a woman having a job and being considered virtuous in the process; she was hardly being considered a SINNER. The scripture said that she "delivereth". That means that she had to go outside the home, make a delivery to the merchant, and do so for money. One attribute that qualified a woman to be considered "virtuous" according to Proverbs 31 was that she did in fact make money OUTSIDE THE HOME by working on a JOB!!!!! Now this isn't just some Jeff Collins fancy play on words people, it's real and it's the Bible. I didn't write it so don't get mad a me New Testament Christian Church folks. If you have a problem with the Bible get mad a God not me, and tell God that his Bible doesn't line up with your New Testament Christian Church women not working doctrine, and you don't believe that a virtuous woman should leave her home to make money by selling merchandise and making delivery's to the merchants. Not only that but you need to tell God to change Titus 2:5 to read differently because it is supposed to read that a woman can not lawfully work outside the home for pay.

New Testament Christian Church people: RWD has taught you wrong so just admit it. If I'm wrong come on this blog or call me and prove it with the type of evidence that I just provided. Hey if you don't think a woman should have a job outside the home that's fine but don't make it a matter of heaven or hell and then try to back up your false assertion with Titus 2:5 because that dog don't hunt. Prove me wrong. The reason RWD would rather not have woman working is because having control over woman to a "Chauvinist" is way more important than having a piece of the extra money that she would make. The fact is, according to the Bible, RWD is dead wrong on this one. Prove me wrong. I challenge all you New Testament Christian Church so called scholars to prove me wrong and show me where in the bible that is says that a woman can't have a job outside the home.

Now don't misunderstand me people. There are benefits to a woman staying at home to raise non school age children. Huge benefits!!!! I have no problem with that at all and in fact I think it's great. I have no problem with women not working at all and I know that a woman not working outside the home can be a very good thing depending on the circumstances but don't make it a matter of heaven and hell with scriptures that don't support your false assertions. Especially when there are other scriptures like Proverbs 31:24 which clearly and undeniably show the exact opposite of what your church teaches. A man absolutely should work and provide for his family but that does not mean nor does it suggest anywhere in the Bible that his wife can't help him and work also "OUTSIDE" the home for pay. If you say that a woman must lawfully STAY AT HOME then this ain't Burger King and you can't have it your way when you want her to go soul winning, clean the church or Kekel's house. According to your interpretation she must STAY AT HOME and that means her own home, not Kekel's. And that would also mean that Tanya Kekel has no business teaching in your non accredited bible school because according to your interpretation she must "STAY AT HOME" literally. If a woman can lawfully go outside her home to soul win, clean the church or help clean the serviceman's home, pick up church supplies, clean the Kekel's house, then she can lawfully get a real job outside the home for pay like we see in Proverbs 31. Which way is it going to be NTCC folks? Prove me wrong, I challenge you.

False Doctrine the New Testament Christian Church way. RWD's way; control, control, control.

G.K. Socially Disadvantaged Or Not, You Decide

There have been discussions taking place on the previous thread concerning whether or not the Kekel's son should be considered quote " socially disadvantaged". I think my wife's research and analysis best describes G.K's social experiences. It's all in black in white, you just have to look for it.

What many don't understand is that by virtue of the school G. Kekel has attended, his socialization experience has been vastly different from the typical NTCC kid. I recall a conversation when Verna Davis told of a school trip to Canada that G.K. attended. This included an overnight stay. I'm not sure how many days. That classifies as a sleepover in my book. Tanya Kekel stating that her son was not allowed to attend sleepovers is just another one of their half-truths in my opinion. School trips and outings are sleepovers, just not at someone's private residence. G. Kekel has probably partook of many such school-sponsored excursions.

At the bottom I've attached a hyperlink to Charles Wright Academy 2009-2010 report that clearly outlines requirements for their graduates. Backpacking, sea kayaking, camping, 15 hours community service per year, mandatory senior internships, and mandatory sports participation doesn't sound like a situation where G.Kekel had no opportunity to socialize outside of NTCC.

Also note the report states that CWA is a college prep day school where 100% of their graduates attend a 4-year college. I guess that rules out NTCS for G. Kekel. Also (pun intended) NTCS is not on the college matriculation list.

My point: G. Kekel has not missed out on socialization having been an NTCC kid. While the rest of NTCC has kept the strict rules of no sleepovers, only 2 visitors, and no fraternizing with the world, the Kekels have indulged their son in all sorts of "worldly" experiences. They've gotten away with it right under everyone's noses. Why? A possible response from Mike Kekel: "Silly rabbits, don't you know we were just following the requirements mandated by G K's school."

Below is the link to the document I referenced. When you open the link, make sure you scroll through and at the bottom, look carefully at the list of "additional graduation requirements". These are activities that other NTCC children have been deprived of because they were considered worldly and of no benefit to "God's program".

Same Old Song And Dance At The Local NTCC

This thread was originally posted on 3/21/2009

These are pictures of NTCC pastors as they blow up and go berserk while blasting someone they are verbally attacking during church service.

Thread #6 There were about 5 of us who left the Columbus, GA / Phenix City, AL / Ft. Benning New Testament Christian Church about the same time. We all had our reasons for leaving and all of our reasons differed only slightly one from another. One particular brother left the New Testament Christian Church for a variety of reasons not the least of which was the NTCC/Kekel, land deal. This thread is about this particular brother that I will call Brother D.

When Brother D stopped attending services with the New Testament Christian Church, Oberhauser was the pastor here at Ft. Benning. Prior to Oberhauser, Hunt was the pastor and we were all with Hunt before Oberhauser arrived in Columbus GA/Ft. Benning.

Apparently the Brother somehow indicated to Oberhauser that his main reason for leaving was the land deal. That is definitely my understanding having personally talked to the brother that I'm referring to.

Hunt left Ft. Benning in the first place and was replaced by Oberhauser because Hunt said that it wasn't Gods will for him to be at the Ft. Benning church from the start!!! Well Hunt comes back to Ft. Benning to replace Oberhauser who had previously replaced Hunt. I guess that God changed his mind about Hunt being here. A little humor but serious nevertheless.

Well Brother D, bless his heart, out of the blue, decides to visit the New Testament Christian Church Church recently that he had previously left. Once again now Hunt is the pastor. Apparently Hunt found out one of the reasons Brother D gave for leaving the NTCC. Brother D told me today of his encounter while revisiting the local NTCC. Hunt took the opportunity to preach about how there is nothing wrong with RWD giving his son in law a bunch of land. That might be the case if the land hadn't been officially and legally recorded as a "New Testament Christian Church INC" property prior to it being given away by the New Testament Christian Church.

You know what? All that church member blasting and verbal abuse is exactly one of the very main reasons that my wife and I left the NTCC and we won't go back. I got so sick and tired of hearing abusive pastors target church members during their sermons for personal reasons. My wife said that it is a joke to even see New Testament Christian Church pastors pray before service because what they do the majority of time is get up, look out across the congregation and decide who to target and or blast which was exactly what happened to Brother D when he haphazardly decided to walk back into an New Testament Christian Church church that he had already left. That type of practice makes me sick. Hunt did the same thing to another Brother in a vicious way and the church service became very UGLY. Hunt did this because the brother didn't agree with Hunt about his fiancée not having a job. Hunt blasted the Brother as bad or worse as I have ever heard anyone get blasted. Needless to say, that Brother also left the New Testament Christian Church. I liked Hunt quite a bit so as a result it really bothered me to witness him blast this brother in such a vicious fashion. It was totally unnecessary to say the least. I'd like to see Hunt blast some of these NTCC pastors who's wives have worked on a job while the NTCC leadership knew all about it.

On Kekels blog, Kekel decided to highlight the fact that Sis Shunk had a job while she was in Korea as though she had done something wrong? The New Testament Christian Church leadership knew all about it previously, so why is Kekel just bringing it up now? It was never a problem before not only for Sis Shunk but the other wives of NTCC pastors who kept JOBS in places like Korea to help out their hubby and help with the church expenses. The only reason that Kekel decided to bring it up now is because the Shunks had started a blog highlighting the NTCC abuse methods and double standards. Typical NTCC smear campaign tactics. Somewhere along the line I missed this scripture: 2NTCC 3:1 Young women shall be keepers at home unless they have jobs outside the US, or they work at the NTCS, or they are out soul winning, or they are cleaning up the church and Kekel's house. 2NTCC 3:2 In such cases "young" woman do not have to be keepers at home.

Wolves In Sheep's Clothing

In the previous thread Vic Johanson wrote...

I personally heard RW Davis, the self proclaimed apostle who maintains he has seen angels and heard the audible voice of God, and that he has never missed God and does everything by the Holy Ghost, emphatically state that if one's sons and daughters didn't go to "bible school," it represented abject parental failure. It is astonishing to observe the blatant hypocrisy prevalent among these wolves in sheep's clothing. And they'll have the nerve to brand anyone who raises the subject as "jealous" or "bitter," or try to spin it into an attack on some hapless kid. Well, this isn't about Grant at all; it's about the corrupt and decadent NTCC leadership who place heavy burdens on others which are grievous to be borne, but won't lift a finger to help. And it's not bitterness or jealousy; it's the same spirit Jesus had when he denounced the Pharisees.

Chief wrote...
I couldn't have possibly expressed my feelings as well as Vic did in the paragraph that I reposted above. What Vic wrote is absolutely the truth. I've heard everything that Vic spoke of while I was in the NTCC. The NTCC leadership absolutely considered NTCC parents a failure if their children didn't attend the NTCS when they became of age. So now it all changes as soon as RWDs grandson graduates high-school. I don't care if the NTCC somehow spins the events to reflect Grant obtaining some kind of NTCS transcript. If Grant does anything other than go directly to the NTCS in Graham full time, live in the dorm, follow all the rules, get a job and receive absolutely no financial assistance from anyone in his family, it is a hypocritical double standard. If he attends a secular college at all, it is a hypocritical double standard and according to RWDs very own teachings the Kekels have been a spiritual failure and they've failed God, period. Vic and I and all the rest of us didn't dream this stuff up, it's real because we (with our own ears) heard it preached by RWD himself and reiterated by his ministers.
Many people in the NTCC should (if they have any backbone at all) be seriously disgruntled with this whole situation. If I was still in the New Testament Christian Church I could absolutely see myself, without reservation questioning the NTCC leadership concerning this whole issue. It's not about Grant because I believe he is a fine young man who should go off to a real college. It's about all the years of dogmatic preaching which was absolutely directed against secular college attendance while insisting that one's sons and daughters attend the NTCS. There were no gray areas contained in the messages that I heard preached involving this very subject. Your children either attended the NTCS or you were an absolute spiritual failure as an NTCC Christian parent, PERIOD.
Wake up NTCC folks and take back control of your life and your children's life and stand up for what is right like Mordecai did in the book of Esther. Face it , you've been duped and scammed and tricked into believing a lie and it's your loving children who've paid the price. I take stuff like that real personal. I don't like being used by someone and especially someone who is supposed to be a so called Christian and a spiritual guide. Kekel and RWD are both fake and false prophets. Grant didn't just decide to attend a secular college against his parents wishes, he was prepped for such scholastic involvement from the beginning and both his Dad and RWD knew it. That is the sick, sadistic, demented part because secular college attendance was preached against for decades. Face it folks we were all tricked and you best believe it. Now they are trying to add insult to injury by suggesting that it never happened and we simply misunderstood what we heard come across the pulpit. They say we didn't listen.

Believe It? Not Likely.

Today in Columbus Georgia, I met a woman who said that she had just gotten back from church. The interesting part was that she was just returning from a service in Atlanta which is about two hours away from Columbus. I asked her why she travels so far to attend church and she replied, "because that is where God told me to attend church services". I then asked, "Are you sure it was God who told you or was it the pastor who told you where you should attend?" "She then emphatically stated, "Oh it was God who told me". I then asked her where she was attending and she replied, "WCCI". I asked her what church that was and she replied, "Word Changers Church International with Creflo Dollar".

Do I believe that God personally told her to drive two hours to Atlanta to attend WCCI? Of course I could be wrong but I don't believe it for one second. I don't believe that God spoke a single word to the woman and the point I'm illustrating is that I also don't believe that God has spoken a single word to these NTCC guys either.

This lady insisted that God had told her to do such and such and I've heard New Testament Christian Church ministers insist that God told them a few things as well which were regularly proven to have never come to pass. "God told me we will have 100 people in church this Sunday". Only 83 people show up. Yeah thats not bad, God was only off by 17. And then the crooked preacher blames the failure on his congregation. "You didn't believe God so God didn't perform what he said he would". I no longer believe folks who run around saying that God told them this and that. They are phonies. RWD insisted that everything he did came from God and Kekel said that he prayed and God gave him answers as well. The ironic part is that some of the things that RWD taught for years that supposedly came from God Kekel has changed. Kekel claims that he prayed to God and God gave him approval. So there are three possibilities with this RWD, Kekel fiasco. First: RWD didn't receive his guidance from God in the first place. Second: Kekel didn't receive an answer from God and therefor he wrongfully changed what was given by God to RWD in the first place. Third: God didn't speak to either one of them.

I strongly believe that the THIRD scenario is the accurate one. I am so sick and tired of everyone running around saying that God told them this and God told them that. The way I see it they are a bunch of phonies, and I see RWD and Kekel as being no different. So I guess that God it talking to everyone these days and giving them all verbal one on one guidance. According to the Bible, back in the day, God only spoke to Moses apparently, face to face as one man speaks to another. Now according to all these self proclaimed prophets God is speaking to all of them. Do you really believe it folks? Kekel is a phony and so is RWD and I'm convinced because their deeds have proved it.

They are crooks, plain and simple and Olson is the same way. In a letter written to concerned NTCCers, Olson wrote: "The property was acquired in the name of the organization. Even though the land was purchased with finances from a private party, it was bought in the organization’s name to provide for and protect the organization, in the event that this land would be needed and beneficial for the ongoing growth of God’s work. It should be understood that at the time of purchase it was not known if the land would be needed, but the Organization was being provided with the #1 option if the Lord so directed in time to come."

What kind of garbage was that? God couldn't decide what to do with 39 acres of land so when God couldn't figure it out he decided to have the NTCC give it to the Kekel family as a gift? $373,000 worth of land? Notice that Olson wrote, "if the Lord so directed in time to come." So I'm supposed to believe that God finally with much thought, directed the NTCC to give 39 acres of land which was valued in 2008 at $373,000 to the Kekel family? So I guess God's so called "ongoing" work no longer had need of 39 acres of land. Anyone who buys off on this totally lame explanation written by Olson is one seriously gullible individual. God didn't direct anything. RWD directed it because the Kekel family is RWDs family, plain and simple. I don't believe RWD or Kekel for one second and I definitely don't believe Olson.

You can believe that God spoke to all these folks if you want to but my days of believing that garbage are long over. Do I believe that God has ever spoken to people? Yes. Do I believe that it happens all the time like these NTCC phonies suggest? Not even. Do I believe that God has spoken to Kekel? Please with a big NO. NTCC folks are being took. They are no different than the lady I met today who said that God has spoken to her. I'm sick and tired of all these super spiritual phony bologna religious folks. Has God really ever spoken to you? Be honest. Stop living a lie. No really. You just got all emotional. Yes the Bible shows that God speaks to people but it certainly doesn't happen everyday and not even close.

Leadership In The NTCC Or The Lack Thereof

Originally posted on 3/13/2009

Thread #5 New Testament Christian Church pastors are some of the worse leaders that I have ever known. The reason I can say this is because I have spent enough time in the Army and I have attended enough leadership schools to be able to tell the good from the bad.

There are three basic types of leaders. Delegative, Participative, and Authoritarian. At different times, all good leaders possess any one of the three leadership styles or all three put together. A breakdown in effective leadership occurs when an individual in authority primarily uses only one of the three types of leadership styles on a regular basis.

I could give examples of, and discuss all three leadership styles, but for the purpose of this thread I am only going to focus on one. The worst one of the three for a leader to use "exclusively" is the authoritarian style.

Unfortunately the regular, exclusive use of the authoritarian style within the NTCC always results in poor moral and the development of subordinates who never learn to consistently make sound decisions on their own. Authoritarian NTCC leaders regularly abuse their church members and subordinate ministers and this practice is degrading, extremely harmful and destructive.

New Testament Christian Church pastors from the bottom all the way up to RWD use the authoritarian style of leadership almost exclusively. I've witnessed this occurrence from numerous NTCC pastors. The authoritarian says, "it's my way or the highway." What makes an authoritarian even worse is that almost all are extremely insecure individuals. A person who feels "secure" in their position of authority does not feel the need to remind you of their title or rank and they realize that the decisions they consider making are not always the best or even good at all. They know that you know that they are in charge and they don’t have to remind you of that fact. Someone who is an "insecure", authoritarian leader, always feels the need to remind his subordinates of his or her title. Examples: "I'm the pastor", "I was here first", "I started this church", "I was here when you got here and I'll be here when you leave, if you don't like it, there is the door", "I'm in charge of this Platoon", "I run this Battalion".

No kidding Einstein.

I person who feels secure in their position of authority welcomes suggestions from his or her subordinates and often puts the suggestions into practical use. An insecure authoritarian leader resents suggestions from subordinates and generally won’t even consider what has been suggested and in the process feels the need to remind you that he is the pastor or Sergeant or whatever is applicable. Often what is the result? Authoritarians make decisions that are bad because they won't consult their people and they suck at effective leadership.

Examples: Adolph Hitler would not listen to his Generals. Bad decision. First Gulf War; Saddam Hussein would not listen to his Generals. Bad decision. RWD would not listen to his proverbial Generals when they tried to warn him about Denis. THE SPLIT. I know for a fact that some did try and tell RWD about Denis. That is an insecure authoritarian and a bad decision maker from a leadership standpoint. Pastors who will not even consider listening to advise offered by church members are insecure, authoritarians who constantly make bad decisions, destroy moral, create much hurt, and destroy folks lives at least temporarily and sometimes permanently.

Does any of this sound familiar?

NTCC Slum Lords - Sin The NTCC Way

Written by Angela in the previous thread...

Girl's Dorm #2 / "The Little White House"
The Little White House sits next to one of the entrances to the ntcc compound from the O-K Hwy. R.W. Davis asked my husband, Eric Barden to move in there. It had been occupied by the NTCC Bible School single girls; but with five of them in a small two-bedroom house there was no room for desks. And tanya kekel told me she had been praying for more women to come to the school but realized they did not have room for them in the current dorm; so the girls were moved to a different bigger house / dorm.

When davis asked us to move in, I thought it would be a blessing. Boy was I wrong! We had been renting an apartment in Tacoma; but Eric drove every day to the Graham compound to work on the building crew. Then, every night, I would drive back to Graham for either class or church. Gas was expensive! But we had a nice place in Tacoma. When we moved onto the ntcc Graham compound, that house was beyond filthy! The kitchen (and whole house) had one of those cheap indoor/outdoor carpets in it hiding who knows what under it. But what was worse was that it was so soaked in grease it was beyond filthy; it was a fire hazard! The blind on the kitchen door was equally greasy in addition to being broken with many bent and broken slats. We found a replacement blind at a "kook" - (rwd's term for a second-hand) - store. Then there were the iron burn-marks in the carpet. I guess the girls were so poor they didn't have an ironing board so they had burned at least five iron imprints in the carpet trying to be wrinkle-free for classes and church (which was VERY IMPORTANT in the ntcc!).

Then there was the well water. It was so sludgy! There was a slow leak under the kitchen sink. As a result a pile of black goopy sediment had accumulated. It let us know what we were actually drinking. Yuck! Then there was the peeling paint in the bathroom. Just lovely. The rotted out flooring under the washer / dryer. Another bonus. The hole in the wall (uncovered / unfinished) for cleaning out the stove pipe. Yeah. Worst of all was the mold. In the bathroom and bedrooms the window sills were completely rotted out from mold. When Kitty Luna and I pulled out the dressers to clean behind them and emptied the drawers, there were fibers of green and red mold that looked like the fabric stuff people use at halloween to imitate heavy cobwebs. It was strung from the back of the dressers to the wall, on the wall, and inside the dressers. It was disgusting. Never did use those dressers. Our stuff wasn't going in there. Well, I was wrong. That was my first day there. The worst was yet to come.

Remember the hole in the wall (for the stove-pipe clean-out)? Mice had been coming and going through that portal, attracted by the heat and food. They had infested the place. I took everything out of the kitchen cabinets to clean everything and wash everything by hand. We threw away some old burnt pots and tupperware that the mice had gnawed through. But even though I did all that cleaning and we kept everything packed away, no food out anywhere, the mice were so prevalent that if you took out dishes you had to wash them before using them; and by the time you had used them and washed them and returned them to the cabinet, there would be fresh mouse droppings on the plates in the cabinet. Disgusting. Eric went and bought mouse traps. We loaded eight of them with peanut butter and left them in front of the hole that Eric covered over. In the morning all eight traps were full. Mice were literally crawling over other dead or dying mice in the traps to get to the peanut butter in the next trap.

I Remember one of the girls from the dorm asked me just after we moved into "The Little White House" if I was enjoying my new "friends". I quickly informed her that the mice were no friends of mine! I don't know why we stayed and got played as long as we did.
This is what ntcc thought of all the work we'd done for them: "Let's move the Bardens (SUCKERS) into the Little White House. He's qualified as a general contractor. He can fix it up for free. Then we can order them to work in another place, and jack-up the rent on the place for the next tenants... Ha Ha, suckers." Normally I don't think that way. But davis used to teach folks to watch out for landlords who moved you into dumps, hoping you'd fix things up for them; so they could raise the rent on you or the next tenants. Now I know HE was the one who does that very thing! It's the classic ntcc - talk - out - of - both - sides - of - your- mouth - strategy:

It's just like davis saying he does not match-make (arrange marriages) but all the while he has rules in place that the man has to ask for permission before talking to a woman "on the wall" so davis has full control, regardless of what he SAYS. I think it is davis's twisted way of having "plausible deniability"-(Independence Day movie term). In legal circles it might be called disclosure: He's warned you about it, so you can't sue him for it. (in theory) There are other slum-lord stories in the blogs, some shared second-hand by AXP re. victims Mark (?) Noel and Mark Travato (I think). And one told first-hand by Jennifer Maesner.

And there was the chilling account told by Gary Garcia. olson ordered the Garcias to rent his property in the St. Louis ghetto of Gasconade. A six-year-old girl was raped on the school bus. Gary did not want his little girl to go through that! (Happily, the Garcias are no longer with the ntcc.) I'll bet you'd never see olson's daughter living in that ghetto and riding that school bus! NTCC has many properties in St. Louis that they abuse their preachers with in the exact same fashion as I have described here. Tax-free rent, Paid in cash, with no receipts... and a fresh crop of suckers to order to move in and out once the tenant does the work and pays to get the place fixed up for the ntcc to make more money off of it. What a scam. NTCC slum lords: Sin the ntcc way.

Another True Testimony / Horror Story From Yet Another Abused NTCC Victim

Original post 3/11/09

This sign should be posted over the front door to a good many New Testament Christian Church entrances.

Thread #4 Jeff wrote...

I talked to Truly Free for a long time today. He has elected to post under the screen name Truly Free for a very valid reason that I will keep confidential. A link to his original post is here: http://truestoriesoflifeinthentcc.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-am-interested-in-having-folks-tell-of.html

Truly Free has given me authorization to edit and re-post his message on the blogs homepage. He will read it and if there are any inaccuracies he will call me and I will change the message to reflect all accurate information immediately. My memory is good and I suspect that won't be necessary. This is a terrible story that needs to be posted with the hopes that it can be used to persuade folks to keep clear of this thoroughly destructive organization; namely the NTCC.

To expound on my last post (and this will surely give me away, but I know who protects me) I was one of the only naval officers in the NTCC church so I was a rare breed. Basically, like most of the young GIs they scout out; I was at my lowest point and romanced into the church and got saved. I had no idea what their agenda was until about a year in. I was convinced this was the only way.

My wife and I were attending services with the NTCC in Atlanta Georgia and that is where the real abuse happened. My wife was beaten almost every service from behind the pulpit about pride, and who does she think she is because she's smart. We were hammered for ever being a few dollars shy on the almighty tithe and offering! It was preached over, and over about how the woman were supposed to stay at home, and not work. That is until they found out how much money my wife made. ($$$)

All of a sudden the local pastor said that he contacted Graham and the NTCC leadership had decided to make an exception to the rule for her to work. When my time to relocate for the military came, I was asked by the NTCC pastor, to leave my wife behind for 2 YEARS to continue to work and pay the tithe and offering while doing Sunday school. The pastor’s wife didn't like teaching in the Sunday school so at all costs the pastor attempted to always have someone else in that position, even if it meant separating me and my wife for 2 years. Of course he needed the extra tithe money from my wife’s income because the church was going through financial difficulties having recently lost many tithe paying church members.

The pastor would tell me about personal counseling secessions that he had with other church members in an attempt to discredit the individuals that he spoke of. It was not my business to hear all about folks personal affairs that had been addressed in confidence with the pastor. That just let me know that he would tell folks about my personal business also. I lost complete confidence and respect for him.

Before I even left to go oversees, the pastor said that he wanted me to start an oversees ministry, and send the tithe money back to HIM in Georgia. He wanted me to help him start a group of serviceman’s homes targeting the Navy and he would be the overseer, receive all the tithe money and I would report to him exclusively until the NTCC sent someone else over there. I was a pretty good soul winner so I guess the pastor thought I could actually pull it off.

When I returned to the US I bumped into an NTCC minister, who I thought was a friend, who spread around, that it looked like the devil got the best of both of us. At first when I left I was told by Mr. Abusive himself that if I left him I would be right back out into the world.

The Spin Doctor, MCK

Original thread posted on 3-6-09.

Thread #2 I posted a comment on Mike Kekel’s blog about two days ago. It has not shown up yet. Now with that being said I trust that Mike will post my comment when he gets a little free time. Just so you understand, the practice of blog moderation is similar to the practice of COMMUNISM where folks do not have the freedom of speech and or expression. Communistic governments do not want information spread freely because information empowers the public which is not the goal of a communistic country or state. Freedom of information and speech does not appear to be a goal of Mike Kekel either where his blog is concerned. Mike: We had a discussion on phone the other day and I respect your views regardless of whether or not I agreed with them. I hope you respect my views concerning this subject because I'm convinced they are valid.

I am creating this thread as a place for people to suggest topics that they desire to have started. I will try my best to start the topic within no more than one day from the date the suggestion is made.

For example, if you desire to see a topic titled; "Why I left the NTCC" or "Why I remain a part of the NTCC", then I will quickly start that thread. I gladly solicit input from all parties. It does not matter if you are currently with the NTCC or not. The only thing that I request is that you have been a part of the NTCC at one time or another.

I want everyone to understand that they have the liberty to assist me in building this blog. That is exactly why I am requesting suggestions for threat topics. It could be a very effective tool used to distribute information if folks would give me input, because I can use all the help I can get.

Update 6-21-2010: Over a year has gone by and my comment still hasn't been posted on Mike's blog. The spin doctor posts what benefits him and more specifically the NTCC and you can be certain that my comment would not benefit either.

Thank you

Jeff
